  1. Eileen is really annoying. She's doing exactly what she's accusing LVP of. All of this is fuelled by that stupid conversation in the Hamptons. Shut the hell up already. She's told LVP that their situation was settled, all the while it was never resolved for her. So in the meantime, she worked on Lisa R and constantly stomped her feet and insisted that Lisa R go after LVP.
  2. That doesn't add up though. She first had the Manchusen conversation with a third party, not LVP and Kyle. It's not like Manchusen is some subjective thing that can be interpreted in different ways where Lisa was influenced by LVP and Kyle's doubts. No. she engaged in a discussion about Manchusen AND then engaged in it again when she decided to discuss it with LVP and Kyle. Why did she do that? Because she knew that they had doubts about the extent of Yolanda's sickness. She chose her audience because she knew that she would have an audience that she can share that information with and wouldn't be judged for it. Lisa is accusing Kyle and specifically LVP of pinning everything on her so that she can keep her hands clean - yet LVP and Kyle have addressed their doubts in THs. LVP has even confronted Yolanda about how some of her comments are contradictory to what they know as the truth. Lisa is trying to play the victim because she is the sole person responsible for bringing up Manchusen. LVP telling her that she should talk about it doesn't mean that she was manipulated. And who did LVP tell her to talk to about it? Did she say 'save it for the cameras', 'talk to Yolanda' or was her advice simply 'talk about it'? Lisa raised the most serious allegation toward Yolanda and now that she's realized she's a lone wolf on an island she's twisting her story so that she's not the only one to take the fall.
  3. i give up with this storyline. I can't follow anymore what Rinna is claiming anymore. She's shifting the goal post to take heat off of herself. LVP and Kyle never denied questioning what exactly was wrong with Yolanda. She's trying to use their doubts and tie it into the Manchusen thing but that was all her.
  4. Kristina is such a brat. You get on like that because you expect someone to not take a shower because you want to take a shower and wash your hair? Angela mentioned that her and her sister didn't grow up together because their parents separated after their father laid hands on Angela. The sister that stayed with the 'father' is aggressive and lashes out while the sister that stayed with the mother is overbearing, perhaps much like a mother who coddled her child after experiencing a traumatic event with her own father. Based on their history, the relationship and personalities don't surprise me at all. Also, Olivia is a damn liar. How exactly do you believe you have stage 3 cancer? Why not stage 1 or 2? And not only that but her exacts words were 'THEY told me I have stage 3 cancer'. If she you assumed the severity of your situation on your own, then who the hell is THEY?
  5. Just started the season, thankfully not many episodes to catch up on. The Twins - they really need to begin socializing without one another. Neither twin knows how to engage and socialize with people which is why they can never keep friends for long. They always have each other and it doesn't force them out their comfort zone. They didn't deserve to be mistreated though they were very boring and I'm surprised that they seemed so surprise when the girls told them that. They both lack self-awareness. They claim that people are always jealous of them and that's why they can't keep friends. It's easy to throw out the jealousy card. It's very obvious that the reason they can't keep friends is because they don't know how to be friends with people who aren't each other. Friendship is a two way street and they seem to care very little about building relationships outside of their sister relationship. Too bad they left that early because I think all they really needed was one therapy session for them to be told this little nugget of information. Olivia needs some serious help. Her behaviour in episode one didn't rub me the right way and when she talked about cancer, my gut didn't believe her and I felt horrible for even thinking that. Turns out I was right. She is beyond needy and she claims she has to be strong but she acts out way too much for attention. Not to say that she doesn't have issues that cause her to seek out that attention but to now, the way she behaves scares me. Her explanation about going off of an assumption doesn't jive with me - she had zero emotion when she was told that she didn't have cancer. And to go from not seeing an oncologist to having stage 3 cancer and she refused treatment. How did she assume that she had stage 3 cancer? And if she were telling the truth then someone would have had to offer treatment in order for her to refuse it. Olivia can seem completely normal and rational in one moment and in the next she's having a breakdown, or always telling some sob story about herself. Her relationship with Diamond is very troubling as well. That is not how siblings normally behave with one another. In episode one, I called it in the Truth or Dare scene - why were all of her dares risque things that she wanted girls to do to Diamond and only Diamond? It seemed sketchy to me as if she was somehow getting off on seeing girls get that personal with Diamond. Again, I felt bad that I was reading the situation that way but their relationship has only made me more concerned that I may be right.
  6. Keeping in mind that what LVP repeated was nothing insulting or offensive toward her children but she's trying to manipulate the situation to make it seem that way. And the cherry on top is that she's fabricating a situation between herself and LVP and presenting herself like the bigger person because she's giving her flowers and being friendly with her as if she's such a good human being to overlook the non-existent things LVP has said. Go figure, lol.
  7. Yeah, Stassi mentioned a reduction and lift. James is immature, with a horrible temper and cannot handle his alcohol. Maybe he should ask Kristen for her therapist's number. Jax is the last person that should be taking offense to James. They're like two peas in a pod. Brittney may be a nice girl but she's pretty stupid and insecure. When you're able to see how poorly he can treat the others around him but make an exception because he treats you well - that says a lot about him...and you. Why do you want to be with someone who is a compulsive liar, thief and treats people badly? We all can have our choice of drug, Brittney chose Jax. Arianna is a sour puss but Scheana was totally in the wrong for what she did. She wants to justify what she did by saying that Arianna's mom asked her the question. Well, her mother didn't ask you what your opinion of Tom was or what their relationship was like. Her mother asked you if she seemed happy. Just because you think Arianna has changed doesn't mean that Arianna isn't happy. What is Katie's actual problem with Lala? Schwartz is lazy but she better hold on tight to him because if this group is a reflection of what the aspiring generation in LA is like, Katie bagged her a good one that seems relatively normal and drama free. Of course 10 Schwartz's wouldn't make for good TV but he's the one person I always find enjoyable because he's much more level headed than the others and has been a voice of reason among all their petty drama.
  8. We don't know the real story behind why Kenya's mother disowned her but for any child to go through that, they've been wronged. It's sad to see but despite all that Kenya has shown a genuine willingness to reconnect with her mother. Hearing other stories at the reunion about how they would be in the same room and her mother wouldn't even acknowledge her, that's really hard. However, that episode did leave me a little curious. She can't get her mother to acknowledge her presence in room with other family members. The odds seemed stacked against her that she would get any better of a reception walking up to her mother's front door unexpected with a camera crew in tow. However, maybe that's what she needed for closure. Having that forever as a memory is maybe the reminder she may need from time to time to that she did what she could to find peace with that relationship. I don't think her mama issues excuse how nasty she can be but her mom ordeal makes me feel for her.
  9. It's scary to think that we live in a world where people think it's okay for someone to suffer and not get proper medical treatments because they don't make enough money to afford it. Healthcare and education are two things that should be equally available to everyone.
  10. Glad I'm not the only one. It's hard to keep interest in this show when I'm not even sure the writers know where they want to go with things. I feel an obligation to at least finish the season but at this rate, I don't think I'll be tuning in for a season 2 (if it makes it that far).
  11. Mary has a quirky personality. Her level of s*** during the challenge isn't normal for her. At least it's not considered normal yet.
  12. You can also tell Kandi doesn't like confrontation because when she has to say something to someone that's of a personal and serious nature, her voice gets shaky and it sounds like he's trying to fight the urge to cry. It's uncomfortable for her and while that is something she should work on, her behavior has always been consistent. She may not want to reach out after a disagreement because she can't navigate the situation well, but she has never turned her friends away regardless of the circumstances. Phaedra's behavior is also consistent - she didn't reach out to Kandi during her pregnancy or hardships because she felt she was wronged and so she held a grudge, was bitter and threw shade at her friend every chance she got. In the end, I'm more likely to say Phaedra is the shitty friend here. Kandi not handling confrontation or disagreements well does not change that her actions and words have always supported the notion that she comes from a good place with her friends. Phaedra cannot say the same thing.
  13. So what I got from that is if I ever go to Dubai, I probably should never leave the hotel. Not sure I trust myself in a place where I can't freely drop an F bomb or two if the situation calls for it, lol.
  14. I had no idea that was how Obamacare worked. I'm Canadian...I guess I figured that it worked the same way it works here. That's interesting that people pay into it like an insurance. I thought it was a matter of allocating a percentage of tax money.
  15. http://www.tmz.com/2015/12/05/porsha-williams-fight-rhoa/ I remember hearing about this a bit ago. I'm assuming this is the other altercation. If not, there's been more than 3.
  16. Kate Bornstein is such a beautiful human being. She exemplifies someone who treats others the way she hopes to be treated. If this show would go on without Cait, I would absolutely love it. Cait was annoying as usual. She thinks she's learning but I'm not sure how much she really is. Her side comments during the debate were disappointing but expected. Her wealth and status allow her to continue to look at the world through her privileged lens. There's quite the irony that Cait feels that Democrats don't care about the country because their platform includes more than just wealth and economy. Their platforms includes social issues that while may not affect her personally because she's among the rich, it affects her brothers and sisters in her community but she still fails to see that.
  17. No, you could see her start to deflect from the onset. When Andy asked her about Phaedra's comments, she didn't take the time to address why they were in poor taste to compare situations. She spent that time trying to deflate the situation and help wipe the egg off of Phaedra's face. Not sure why Porsha should be the one to be asked the question when she didn't even know what the underground railroad was. Then when Phaedra was trying to keep some blame on Kenya by saying that part of the issue was that Kenya wanted Glen and he didn't want her, Porsha chimed in with 'yeah' during that back and forth. And nobody asked Porsha anything. A viewer question was read and Porsha took it upon herself to answer it and she said 'you kept pushing him until you got a reaction'. Porsha was talking out of both sides of her mouth. She brought up the security point which would have been fair if she wasn't throwing in digs about Kenya being a massive instigator that basically asked for that reaction from him. She shut her mouth real quick when Kandi spoke up and said that Kenya said and did nothing that warranted anything close to his behaviour and she hit the nail on the head, Porsha and Phaedra pacified his behaviour so that they could take the opportunity to throw digs at Kenya.
  18. Porsha did acknowledge it... very briefly. She spent two seconds mentioning it and then spent 10 minutes explaining why Kenya was partially to blame. Her energy was spent mostly rationalizing Glen's behaviour when she should have spent that energy speaking up against his aggressive behaviour and making it clear that it was in no way acceptable. Kenya deserves a lot of blame for a lot of things but how Kenya blames the other girls for things is not the same as them trying to find blame for something as serious as instigating male aggression and violence. When Kandi told Phaedra 'you chose him' I didn't see it as her placing any blame on Phaedra for Apollo's action. I think what she meant was that Phaedra knew the man she married and that the kids shouldn't miss out on the opportunity to know their father because of decisions that either of their parents make. I can't remember the context of Kandi's advice to Phaedra. If Phaedra was talking about her situation and Kandi shared her opinion then I think that's fine. If Kandi brought it up completely on her own, then I think she's out of line for sharing her opinions about Phaedra's situation without any context.
  19. Kenya isn't the only woman to knock below the belt. I think I've come to a realization that Kenya is like oil and water with Porsha and Phaedra because in a lot of ways they are alike. Namely, none of them can actually take accountability for their actions and when they do, there's always a 'but' attached to it that attempts to justify their actions. Phaedra is an educated lawyer and it's really disgusting to see the way she acts towards Kenya. She will twist any situation to find fault with Kenya. Kenya does and says enough stupid things to call her out on that you don't need to rationalize the poor behaviour of a man as if his actions were Kenya's fault. Cynthia and Kandi were right - had it been someone else, Porsha and Phaedra would have shut their traps quick time. Can't wait for the finale of the reunion next week when Tod and Phaedra address each other. When Phaedra gets put in a position where she can't be her usual condescending self, she gets this 'wtf are you talking about' screw face when someone checks her in her place and she can't really say anything because she can't deflect the truth spilling out of their mouth.
  20. If someone is making statements that are directly contrary to actual evidence, and if this is a result of their tendency to speak in exaggerations (as you've admitted), then how does that not support the argument of the women that while Yolanda may be sick, they aren't sure they should trust just how honest she's being about how sick. That's a fair criticism. There are varying degrees of feeling unwell. I can have a headache that's annoying but it won't prevent me from getting done the things that need to get done. On the other hand, I may have a headache so bad that I'm unable to focus or walk without feeling dizziness. That would render it unsafe and unwise for me to get done the things I need to get done. If someone is known to exaggerate a lot and express themselves in extremes, then it will lead people to question whether it's as bad as you describe or not. It's not necessarily that the feeling or illness doesn't exist on any given day - but to what extent does it exist? Being sick doesn't give someone a free pass on something that is ultimately a part of their personality, not circumstance. And if it's being used a means to collect a pay cheque while meeting less obligations than your peers, then it's understandable if that causes frustration. However, that's not to say that Lisa R hasn't sucked this bone dry. Build a bridge and get over it...quickly.
  21. You mean Yolanda said something that was wrong? Yolanda has a history of exaggerating the truth. When she said she hadn't gone out walking in over a year but she had participated in that scavenger hunt less than a year from the date the comment was made. In yesterday's episode she mentioned it was the first time in a year that she had put make up on. How far in advance do they do promo shoots for the new RH season? It's those small things that make it easier to understand Lisa R's point that the question is not whether Yolanda is sick, but she uses her illness to her convenience to get out of what she doesn't want to do, and she uses it in a context that will always make her appear as a hero for 'marching through' or a victim because she says she hasn't done the most simplest of things during her sickness which isn't always the truth.
  22. If it were about another housewife, I would already concede that LVP probably made a suggestive comment that could be taken one way or another. Her and Kyle's friendship is the only real friendship among the cast where they actually spend time with one another and not just for cameras and a pay cheque. By the time the new girls came into the picture, LVP and Kyle had already mended their fences. I'm not inclined to believe that LVP would make a comment in a manner that was intended to target Kyle of all the girls. In addition, Lisa R has already proven that she has taken words and used them in the manner that best suited her agenda but when shit hit the fan, she was quick to make herself look like the scapegoat for someone else's fight. Whether she intends to or not, she is all but saying that she's very impressionable and that only makes her appear as an unreliable source. She is passionate when she speaks, but the more she does so, it appears that she's not really sure why and how she's passionate about anything. Can't wait to see how the actual episode pans out.
  23. Just caught up on the episode. The women looked gorgeous in the caftans...especially LVP, hers was my favourite. Essentially Lisa R feels that Yolanda is using her disease as a convenient way to get out of her RH responsibilities when it suits her. Ultimately, the show is a job for all of them and perhaps part of the reason why Lisa R isn't being very direct about it is because she can't flat out say that it's their job to hang out with each other. That said, get over it. She says she believes Yolanda is sick, then stop taking issue with Yolanda wearing her sickness as a badge and on the flip side, consider yourself lucky that it's one less person that you have to put up with. I was quite surprised that though Erika brought her Glam squad, her make up was very minimal at the meet up later in that evening. I lost track of what Lisa was talking about when she said that something was brought up but they've talked about it and they're good...Erika was the one looking at her and nodding her head. Was she referring to making good with Erika or someone else? The episode overall was a bit of a bore but I guess it's supposed to ramp up next episode. Should be interesting to see the full context of the Lisas conversation with one another. I feel like no matter is what said I won't believe either party is being 100% truthful in their accounts. And I see Eileen will be bringing back the dinner conversation with LVP again. Thank God. It's been so long since she's talked about it, I can't remember at all what happened.
  24. Honest question - is Kenya really this awful or is there some element of playing up to the camera? Does she behave this way because on some level she feels that's what it takes to be considered a 'star' on the show? Her ego and condescending attitude is beyond me. The moment she doesn't like one thing someone else does, they land on her blacklist and a crusade begins to disparage and talk down to said person. She always needs a bulls eye on someone's back to go after and has the audacity to sit there and accuse people of being a certain way that she is guilty of herself. Kim did come off a bit judgmental but I think it was more in her delivery than it was of her personally laying judgment on the women as individuals (well except for Kenya at this point). Kim was so far removed from the 'hollywood' lifestyle that stepping into a show where there are many parties, bikinis, skin shows, etc. especially with people around her age was probably not what she expected. The make-up free brunch was pushing way too far but again, I don't think there was bad intentions there. Kim made the mistake of assuming that the women look the way they look because that's what they're expected to look like - maybe they love the way they look and that's all there is to it.
  25. You summed it up well. Eileen seems perfectly reasonable until LVP comes into the equation. It has come across as an obsession really. Like I said, I don't think she's found personal closure from her sit down with LVP and because of that, she can't help but distort everything into a negative light when it comes to LVP. Calling someone manipulative and tying back everything to your own personal encounter with LVP but also saying that LVP is a nice woman and you really like her is contrary. How can you call someone nice and say you like them if you are willing to share an opinion within your same circle that said someone is manipulative. You can't say you've moved past something when you constantly bring it up and then questions/admonish others for not speaking up in a manner that supports your cause. She's taking her personal hurt and allowing it to snowball into something that's ridiculous. Me: Hey Eileen, why you mad? Eileen: Because Lisa Vanderpump asked me questions about how I fell in love with my husband that I originally had an affair with Me: She asked you questions that put your business out there for the whole world to see? Man, that really sucks Eileen: Well, I've talked about it before on TV and it's been written in the press Me: So then why are you mad? Eileen: Well because for some inexplicable reason, this time it just made me feel uncomfortable and Lisa didn't apologize to me properly That right there is what it boils down to and it sounds pretty stupid to instigate and keep it going this long.
