I didn't understand that either. As little as I know about Indian food, I'm pretty sure the two aren't the same so I didn't understand why he wasn't called out on it. Agree with, how the heck was Sandra the last person left in the kitchen? Huh? Also, Carmen is still annoying and wasn't she the one that messed up Atoye's dish? I'm glad that Dahmere was able to talk her down after her meltdown. As for the elim challenge, Jason may know how to cook but he's still annoying and that more than anything is why his team put him up but of course he thinks it's because he's such a threat in the kitchen. He truly is delusional. I wasn't exactly sure why Gordon thought Sandra serving mushrooms with a steak was so strange regardless of what it was called. I've never been to a steak house and been served a sliced steak unless it was one of those big 22 oz meant to be shared steaks. Devon was on borrowed time but I was sorry to see him go. And yes, what is up with these lame challenge prizes?

I was glad the women finally won a challenge even if it was sort of lame. Jason is still a tool. Jermaine going home was pretty obvious especially messing up on side dishes. Devon seemed a bit rattled after the elim so I hope this isn't a sign of things to come. Sandra OTOH always seems rattled. She seems to know what she's doing cook-wise but gets easily thrown off and as many times as she's been put up for elimination, she's definitely not making it to the end. I'm pulling for Dahmere but like others, I hope this isn't a set-up for him to have a spectacular fall.

I didn't get anteater being in the bottom two either but definitely hibiscus needed to be the one to go home. I don't know of the housewives so when she was revealed I immediately went back to what I was watching before.

Agree that Jack is probably the next go and was also surprised by JoJo. Not surprised only two completed that first challenge either. I can sort of believe the special forces guys talk lots of smack. I've know folks who went to basic boot camp or even mini boot camps in HS (JROTC). The special forces folks tend to be a bit "special" and aren't necessarily about being dainty and polite based on what they are trained and expected to do separate from regular military forces.

Aside from saying that he'd had surgery that hadn't fully healed and been exacerbated by the bubble soccer game, he wasn't specific and there doesn't seem to be anything official online about it either. Why can't we get rid of Jason? Also, why is he in such denial when he screws up? Does he think he'll be able to make people doubt that he messed up if he bamboozles them enough into believing he's done no wrong? Ugh. OTOH, not surprised Raneisha got sent packing. Yes, I get disguising the food to not make it easy to figure out what somethings were but I do think most of them would have been better off going with their own instincts and trying to block out the crowd. For some of the newer more inexperienced cooks, I could maybe see listing to others but for the so-called pros? That was a lot of time wasting. Didn't get the ax throwing thing but whatever. Jason is still a putz and Melissa lost the script. Yes, Sarah has been in the bottom a couple of times but Melissa's whole "I'm better than the rest of them and I've won challenges" means nothing when you are helping tank dinner service and pouting. Good riddance even if we are still stuck with Jason... And Raneisha needs to chill out because she doesn't seem all that steady either.

I'm pretty sure Sea Queen is Macy Gray. When she started I wasn't sure but towards the middle and end I knew it was her. I don't know how Tiki wound up in the bottom two because what does the audience see in Husky? I wasn't watching this all the way through so after Sea Queen I turned it off because I figured Hawk and Husky would be in the bottom. I turned back just in time to be wrong about that. Also, while I can see how some of the songs might fall under the realm of "magic" how on earth does Super Freak qualify?

There was a steak place I'd go to that served steaks in hot melted butter. I'd always ask them to leave the butter off of mine. I was so hoping Jason would get booted off but of course he has to stay around for the "drama." But I see why Mattias got the boot instead. Though I do wonder how long Jason is going to be kept around. It'll only be worth it if he gets eliminated in spectacular fashion because we know he's not making it to the end. Agree with this. I don't think Hawk is Bryan Adams either. I mean Adams has worked with several famous sings not named Cyrus. I figured Hen was one and done but it was nice seeing Billie Jean King and hearing the story about how that song came to be. Also, Robin Thicke needs to stay in his lane and leave Elton John songs alone. All those runs he was doing were unnecessary and kept taking me out of the performance. He supposedly is a self-taught pianist and has played in performances before (not necessarily on this show).

I was fine with Claudia the grinning chef going though I could have seen them putting up Raneisha for the blue steaks. However, Claudia had been snapped at by Ramsey for the grinning/giggling a few times. Raneisha OTOH needs to chill out. I get she's one of the older contestants and that Carmen is a pill but she didn't make herself look good either yelling at her like a banshee. Mattias is fortunate that Ramsey had had it with Claudia or it's all a plan to eliminate evenly across the two teams, who knows? As for the celebrities, the only one I knew was Alaska so yeah, loose definition of celebrity being used here. I see Jason was pretty quiet this week but of course no way that lasts long.

I didn't get Zeke after taking a step or two out of the door simply using his doohickey thing to then get the package instead but that wouldn't have been as dramatic and I also don't understand why he and the other guy need to be friends. We've all worked with people we have no interest in being friend with or socialize with but we work together because we're adults. I can't with Sir being locked in the basement. What happens if there's a leak and a plumber needs to be called or is Gabi also able to make those sorts of repairs or a gas leak or a fire? There are multiple reasons someone from outside would possibly need to come inside. I get that TV/movies expect the audience to accept things and not ask a lot of questions but that doesn't always work and can tend to take some people out of whatever story TPTB are trying to tell.

I didn't know about Jack Osborne's MS either and I'm glad he explained because he was working my nerves. I was fine with BAG going and wasn't necessarily surprised about Horry leaving. Chrisley going wasn't shocking either after her meeting with Staff but she does seem to be getting some mileage out of it. I don't know how many passed the diving challenge but I was glad to see they didn't lose anymore folks after that. Maybe we'll be able to focus on some of the other contestants now.

I've seen couples do that in restaurants before. I've actually seen them, if they've been seated at a table for two across from each other, get up and go glue themselves to each other because apparently talking across the table is too much to bear for them.

And I still want to know why someone who's worked in Michelin star places is on this show without seemingly being able to poach lobster or cook fish properly. Brad is no prize and neither was Tad but Jason screwed up as much and was totally in denial about. Carmen is going to be a pest and both teams need to bone up on their communication skills for their stations. I noticed that as well. She looked like a blow-up doll. What folks do for cosmetic procedures is up to them but some can take it too far.

Okay I'm guessing Sandoval is looking for money because he's also on the current season of special forces: world's toughest test. While I didn't think he had the strongest performance tonight I figured he'd outlast Pickle but what do I know.

I can see how an exception might be made for smaller participants re: the packs but I also tend to side eye folks who had to have known about the prior season of this show and showed up either not prepared or just went into it fully in denial about what it would entail from them physically. That being said, wasn't surprised about Tara or Angela leaving. And I can see why Dez wasn't allowed to return. Being insubordinate wouldn't fly in the military no matter if you apologized or not.

I was a little surprised about Mike making the final three since the last person eliminated Emma? got cut because her dessert didn't have any really discernable chocolate yet Mike was fine? I agree that he probably had the neatest presentation and maybe the advantage helped but really?

I am so ready for Siwa to go. I've only seen her on a couple things but she's annoying. Otherwise, I hope her talk with Staff will sink in and she'll settle down and stop being cute. I'm hoping BAG hurries up and goes also. I don't know what his deal is with Black Chyna but not everyone finds his sense of humor amusing. I'll be surprised if Tara Reid makes it far but I'd like to see her try but yes, the cigarettes were a dumb idea. Not sure what to make of Jack Osborne either.

I'll probably forget this is on so won't faithfully watch but I just know they're going to wear out the whole American Dream nonsense before long and actually, I think they already have. As for the chefs, if Jason has worked under so many accomplished chefs, why is he even on this show and behaving like an @ss? Mr. Quiddich can leave any time and guy cooking pasta from the box won't make that mistake again or at least put salt in your darn water. I'm over that one one female personal chef whose reaction to GR's critique was to giggle like a school girl. And miss burned salmon skin, okay you're new to cooking (why are you here?) and the hot stove threw you...I don't know what to say about that... I did love GR telling miss vegan scallop chef that he's not a vegan, hah!

Good thing this came on early on the West coast otherwise I'd have been annoyed I missed another program since it was pretty much a preview/recap of previous seasons with the duets and the one-off reveal of a celeb who just wanted to do it for the heck of it.
