  1. Jon seemed to love his wife but it was obvious Delilah didn't love Jon, not that way. She was planning on leaving him if he showed up that night and had her bags packed. She was pregnant with her lovers baby (we think) and I suppose was going to continue to live off Jon's money. It seemed like she was leaving the children there. I've known people who had parents or husband's commit suicide and it was awful and people grieve differently but I don't think Delilah grieved as a loving wife, but more for his kids and later anger over having her lifestyle threatened. The lack of curiosity (to me) is apathy on her part. It's funny, she wanted to talk that night but what about all the others? She was not needing help to buy things or food etc. it was just what Jon probably did for her and maybe why she thought he would be the better constant parent. Gary has issues, I feel will come out later. He has a hot temper but there is more to him then we will see now.
  2. Can you see any parent or spouse saying, "I don't want to know why, nothing I learn will bring him back?" What a ridiculous statement and it's been long enough for someone to call her on it. Danny and Sophie might like to know Mom and it's not always "about you". We know you were leaving him, bags packed, not grieving, but fake it for the kids.
  3. Who was that? Einstein was an atheist or agnostic (depending what you read) but I always loved his quote : “The most beautiful thing we can experience is the mysterious. It is the source of all true art and science. He to whom the emotion is a stranger, who can no longer pause to wonder and stand wrapped in awe, is as good as dead —his eyes are closed. The insight into the mystery of life, coupled though it be with fear, has also given rise to religion. To know what is impenetrable to us really exists, manifesting itself as the highest wisdom and the most radiant beauty, which our dull faculties can comprehend only in their most primitive forms—this knowledge, this feeling is at the center of true religiousness.” Some people can't understand how anyone can feel differently than they do.
  4. Now that would really be a soap opera, lol There was the gardener that day I was feeling down... As a teen, I can see Sophie would be thinking, "So Dad got distant, you got needy, didn't talk to him, you turned to my guitar instructor and dads best friend, got pregnant, dad dies, you lie about relationship and baby and now have a new hunk helping you clean out dad's college apartment. Okay, going to do my homework now. " 😛
  5. I was disappointed he thought of it that way. I was hoping for a good drama, not a "Dallas or Dynasty" night soap of the past. I like Rotten Tomatoes for movie reviews, they compile many in one area and MLT had a high score when it opened, I noticed it dropped and the word "soap" appears often. If you like that fine, but I think everyone thought it would be more like old dramas of the past or even This is Us with more characters. As one review said, we never got to know Jon enough to care, he did it wrong, but they can still make season 2 better. I do like Jon though, I just filled in the blanks myself. ; )
  6. I wonder what they'll bring out from his past that made him the way he is. Don't know very much now.
  7. Didn't think of that, was he too old? Have to look again. Couldn't be Mitch? Can't place his age. I guess I never heard Nash call the show a soap but he did in recent interview about Ashley returning. That says a lot about how high the quality will go. DJ Nash confirmed that you will be seeing Ochoa beyond this current season. He also added the following lightheartedly about the character’s current odyssey: “Good or bad, our show is a soap. On some great soaps, things happen and people come back … We sent [Ashley] away, but maybe she comes back knowing a lot of Spanish.” “I think it’s a pretty safe bet to say that Ashley is not completely out of the picture,” Can't figure out what else she can do but I'm sure he is figuring it out.
  8. I think too that teachers do a lot with helping or bringing someone down. Good teachers are gems and underpaid, many went into teaching because they didn't know what they wanted to do or liked the benefits at the time but really have no place with children. I had gems and I had horrible, mean teachers that would make fun of kids, accuse them of cheating if they did well, say "you'll never be anything" to struggling kids or poor children. We are seeing high school for the big 3 next time, I wonder how it was for them. I wonder what happened to Randall's friend who didn't go to the prom with him. So much help form who we are later, sure we can change, get stronger and grow, but it matters.
  9. It will be interesting to see where he goes with the show, with Nash you know there will be a twist. Delilah looked him up more than her husband but mainly his business's. There has to be a something not very nice because he's not in the main cast and probably will leave at some point. But then he did give them money. Was Jon's money to Regina just for the building, not the startup? There was a throwaway line that Ashley used life ins money that wasn't hers. I know you need to sign for it, show death certificate, etc. so logically that didn't make sense. My neighbor can't say they are my son and take his beneficiary money. It also takes quite a while to get usually, up to 30 days if they don't investigate.
  10. A good guess, He obviously felt bad about causing a death or disability but again it’s 2019, that was 2000 or so. I just don’t see why it’s a mystery. His name had to be attached to it somehow. Time will tell.
  11. The new show is on A & E not bravo. I hope they have some foundation homes. My friend has a 700 sq ft one she loves. Time will tell. you should check out Living big in a tiny house” on you tube. Wonderful host (Australian) and great homes. https://m.youtube.com/user/livingbigtinyhouse
  12. Any speculation on what Gary's secret could be? While the A Million Little Things cast hasn't offered any further clues about who may be in trouble, Roday revealed to Us Weekly that Gary, who has stepped up as the go-to friend after Jon's death, is worth watching carefully. "Like everyone else, Gary has a secret of his own,” he told the magazine. “There will be a revelation that sheds some light on the weight Gary has been carrying around. But ultimately, I think he just feels like he owes Jon his life and really wishes he could have repaid the favor." That seems to be about his cancer but everyone knows about that. They are supposed to have someone else find out about the baby, I just wish they would tie all that up by seasons end.
  13. I thought Phylicia was great as their mom and dad was superb also. I agree with most that smoking weed in the house was not going unnoticed. My mom could hear a clink of cake dish upstairs and cigarette smoke on a jacket when you didn't even smoke. lol I know parents worry and when you weren't very well off, you want to know your kids will be able to take care of themselves. I knew a mom who's son wanting to act, she said, you don't make it by 30 in a career you can support yourself without my help, you have to do something else, I'm out. That's more than most would have done, but he didn't make it well enough, but ended up with a 'real" job and doing community theater which he loves. I feel her mom was just scared and came off harsher than she meant. Beth could have done ballet at college and kept up skills. I've known many rich families at an old job I had, they joked their kids were all finding themselves much longer than others because "teaching snowboarding in Colorado" or taking a low paying teaching job abroad was doable when you knew you had money in your bank account and that when your parents passed, you'll have inheritance. Sounds cold but having a cushion does help. The problem with doing the sensible approach is you always wonder "what if"? Maybe I would be that person on TV saying how long I struggled and had my parents support and now I have awards. A tough call but Beth could have pursued some on her and if good enough would have gotten scholarships. I hope they have them on again, maybe her mom comes to visit. I'd like to see that chemistry in her home. I also laughed at the resume conversation. I found cleaning out my desk, really good thick, resume paper. I can still use it for a letter, but I'm glad for the computer filing but miss the personal touch at times that having someone really look at your paperwork meant.
  14. They said some "high risk issue" so it could be that or high blood pressure or many other things. Bottom line is it will be okay but I agree with writers, having her sail through isn't accurate in her situation. Many things on show might not be, but they felt probably that was glaring.
  15. That reminded me of when Alan Alda was on ER and said something about learning a technique they never saw in the war. I liked that too. If they didn't sign and and reminiscing got them to kiss and be together and THEN Katherine finds out he lied to her about baby, geez, that's a double whammy. I don't feel any chemistry with him and Delilah but he does need to be there when she needs him. So who goes to hospital when she delivers? Eddie, Regina if possible, Maggie, Gary, Sophie, will they take shifts. 😉 Andrew will send flowers. I hope they show Katherine not immediately with anyone but becoming and knowing who she is and what she wants. I can't suspend reality enough for the Sophie/Barbara or who ever she is scenario. No one has phone and she's weird, Sophie knows her mom enough to know she would not like to meet her or have her in her home. Even a childless writer knows better than that scene in 2019. I like how Delilah casually tells Andrew her husband had another apartment the poor girl has to clean out. He was like "oh" thinking probably about other women and she'll have that linger while she can. Narcissistic is one thing but no one in 7 long months thought of that apartment again? No one wanted to talk to the sweet old lady who knew "Johnny" She didn't care at all about why her husband and children's dad might have jumped except that she has her house? Gary in real life never would have just forgotten that apartment and would have gone back to look. Also he had many things in his office, I guess we just know they took all that out? His desk and computer full of files and tax and business information? The kids deserve to know more and passing out memorabilia next week after so long is a little much too. I feel another filler show with some nice flashbacks and then at the end, another Barbara moment cliffhanger.
  16. She did look s bit smug in preview when she said to let her in. Little does she know it’s only the $ she cares about.
  17. I was hoping the whole show was not the surgery, but it mainly was. I did like Gary and Maggie's mom interactions. I liked meeting PJ but thought the conversation with Rome seemed a bit unrealistic but I liked seeing how excited Rome was. Many of us have felt "invisible" and I think that's a great title. Delilah and Andrew...blah! I still think it's odd how interested he is and God help me, I know he probably is a widower but I feel insincerity. I don't know why. Nelson in the house, ridiculous . The was such bad writing. All to get Sophie into see her in photo album. That could have been Gary or Delilah since they met her but I guess Sophie will be the sleuth. They had more pictures of her with memorabilia but I guess that's next week. She's not interested she says, but the rest of the fans are. (Well most.) She's right it wont bring Jon back but it helped make him leave, so be a little interested Delilah. Katherine and Eddie, you could feel her emotions so deeply, but Eddie's, for me not as much. I felt so sorry for her. I hope she is used more next season. She has a lot of depth. Totally off plot but his apartment was vacant for 7 months? No rent ?
  18. Saw on FB it’s restarting on 3/13 on AE If people watch they’ll make more but time will tell . I think the THOW fad is ebbing but I see some YouTube shows that show many tiny homes that aren’t mobile that are nicely done.
  19. I know, it's almost creepy. For pete's sake, Jon was around all this time and she stayed in her apartment. I guess 7 months later, she decides to spy? I just didn't get the promo for her daughter showing her in with Mom home and then this one with her letting her in, without her being there and possibly leaving a note. I have no clue what writers are doing but teens don't act like this and no one in 2019 should be that trusting especially in that affluent home. Maybe it is Sophie who looks into it more. I think it will be worse than the crockpot, re This Is Us if he drags it out any more. At least Nash made sure Jon changed the smoke detector, hopefully he doesn't copy the fire. 😬 The envelope she's holding says Barbara Morgan, looks like it was mailed. One thing I know, that name will be hated by the seasons end : )
  20. Strange clip on Facebook with mystery woman. One preview has her in house meeting Delilah and this one has Sophie letting her in to leave note for her mother. Very strange plot line they are doing and Sophie should know better. She might like to talk to a total stranger about being a widow. Please.
  21. That is a bit much. They said Kate would have a realistic scenario with baby but be okay . I feel to have Kevin pushed again to background sad. I hope he speaks up. I dont know how but I still hope a Nicky crossover with his recovery.
  22. Yes, that is true, the poor baby doesn't have a chance. lol With this baby, it don't see anyone caring about it. The sex is a yawn, what does it matter, it will be an occasional prop if it is born but like a puppy, not used often. (I would like more of Gary's dog though) I can only see the poor soul used to make Delilah overwhelmed and to hurt others, Katherine, Sophie, friendships that are tentative now. I guess Jon did his business alone and did well until he had a bad business deal? His home is very nice and he seemed to have a lot of money to travel, etc. All the immediately deleted files and old "implication" from others, is that all gone now? Are we supposed to forget Nash was having Jon do shady deals and he suddenly spiraled for 2 years? He had no way of knowing back then he would lose deal and all his money. I don't buy guilt over something 20 years ago caught up with him that badly with so many triggers along the way with his kids and family. I thought like many, "abandoned" in his Barbara video meant years ago, maybe he just meant, I killed myself and he "abandoned" her. I know I'm in the minority, most people care about the baby, will Eddie drink, will Maggie live, Nash knows that, but I'm stuck on the first show and want the pay out. I hope he does something later to help close out all the clues that went no where.
  23. I found one of the pics intriguing. Don't know what Delilah is holding, a ticket? Jon is holding it at the airport. Another happy picture in corner of Jon, woman and male college friend
  24. I think with everything going on, they just are being polite. I don't know what birth control they were using (Jon and Delilah) but it worked for about 10 years or so. To have it fail at 40 or so, it happens but it's TV magic too. I've known women who were trying and got pregnant at 40 but most don't have an easy time. I feel, both men are dark in looks, same height, hair color, I'm sure they feel, no big surprise in that regard. Blood type etc is a different matter. You just shouldn't lie, it's never a good thing. I'm not even sure it is Eddie's, the timeline on this show makes my head hurt. ; ) A rule in most dramas and "soap like" shows, you can never, ever have a baby that isn't your husband's and have it stay hidden. The gas station guy (andrew?) if he continues to see Delilah and Sophie sees that and then hears about Eddie, yikes, not what most teens want to know about their moms. Sounds worse than it is maybe but still, not a scenario I would want to be part of.
  25. I hope the person looking into Jons death who is “unexpected” is Sophie not the gas guy . If he helps I see a tie-in also. It seemed weird even in the preview. What happened to his office computer, papers etc I am looking forward to that too.....” My guitar teacher, dads best friend ?” Nash and David Giuntoli both said it will be hard for her.
