  1. Losing Joshua over Andrea was ridiculous, his lizard frills didn't work but at least he tried to make an avant grade look, Andrea made clothes and that's what she has done in every episode so far. Her stuff is wearable and there's a market for it but it's not exciting and doesn't make for good tv. Joshua also won 2 out of the previous 3 episodes (I don't count episode 4 because it was just an extended judging session for episode 3), does that mean nothing? They have a designer who has shown that he can do what they're looking for and tried to do this episode's assignment vs. a designer who has done nothing impressive so far and didn't try to do this episode's assignment. Sure, in fashion one day you're in and the next day you're out (wrong franchise, I know) but track record should be taken into account.
  2. I hated how Jan was treated. It was completely unnecessary to have Alexis reveal Pandora's lipstick first without mentioning a tie to make Jan think she's safe. This was all obviously engineered by the producers to fuck with her and Ru isn't a good enough actor to make the surprised reaction believable. And using Jan's "They voted for me because they think I'm competition" confessional for her exit was shitty too, in untucked there was another confessional about her leaving where Jan was grateful and emotional and it would have made for a much nicer exit on the main show.
  3. The unprecedented decision that will leave everyone in shock ... will be revealed next episode.🤨 Looks like Andrea P. is always the bridesmaid but never the bride. I'm happy for Joshua, I like him a lot, Lucie did a great job too.
  4. I mentioned Gretchen winning Project Runway above and she was pushed through by Nina and Michael aka the fashion editor and designer on the panel while Heidi and Jessica Simpson aka the model and singer fought for Mondo. So I don't think adding more editors or designers over models would necessarily lead to better designs getting praised. Heidi might say "I'd wear that" quite often but that doesn't always mean she makes bad choices, in this episode she was team Joshua for example and his women's outfit was neither short nor tight which would have been a Heidi cliche.
  5. Anya was still a more worthy winner than Gretchen, at least Anya's draped dresses looked decent unlike Gretchens booger-green droopy diapers.
  6. I think it's most likely just a time issue, if they have 10 designers and talk to each of them for 2 minutes that's almost half the episode spend on runway critiques.
  7. Exactly, I thought Raf's male look was great for example. I also loved Josh's looks and totally agree that he deserved the win but I didn't get why the loved Andrea P.'s so much, the dress was very simple, it fit well but it also wasn't that impressive, it definitely looked like something you could make in a day. And the bathing suit ... was a bathing suit, it also fit well but there wasn't a lot of design going. The print did most of the work and she did make that so I'll give her credit for that but she used it in the same way for both it looked too similar from the waist up.
  8. That's simply not true, men do wear skirts. Not so much in western countries but worldwide its quite common and even in western countries it's not completely unheard of. And historically men have worn skirts just as often as women, them being seen as female clothing is a very recent development. And fashion shows aren't really about off the rack pieces anyway. If "what the average men in the wild wears right now" was a criteria all we'd get would be cargo shorts and basic shirts.
  9. But if how much they shared was used as a criteria that could lead to queens on future seasons feeling pressured to overshare. You're right that the challenge was in poor taste. I have a feeling Ru wanted Scarlet in the bottom so it didn't matter what she did. Too much drag persona = I didn't see the real you! Too much real persona = Where was Scarlet? Flip flopping = It makes me uncomfortable!
  10. Ru saying Scarlet makes her uncomfortable was one of the most absurd criticisms I've ever heard. You have the queens in drag talking about their real life, so obviously they're gonna flip flop between their drag persona and their real persona, what did they expect? I also felt really bad for Jan, in the confessional she seemed really genuine when she cried and said that was just her. The judges are basically telling her to not be herself, that must feel awful.
  11. I believe Lawrence won because they ultimately cast the host of a web show and as great as Bimini is I think for WOW Lawrence is a better fit. Without a cash prize being the winner is almost meaningless anyway.
  12. I agreed with the judges that Yara belonged in the bottom, she was Shakira only from a distance, her body and dancing were spot on but as soon as I looked at her face ... nothing, that wasn't Shakira at all which is weird because Yara often shows a big smile and a positive attitude but not here. Her runway look also didn't match the theme, there were no frills. I also agree with Jan winning, she nailed Lady Gaga, Trinity also nailed Beyonce but on the runway Jan's look was leagues better than Trinitiy's and with both of them being awesome in their performance I think this might have given the edge to Jan. But Ginger really should have been in the bottom 2, Akeria wasn't great in the halftime show but had a phenomenal runway look.
  13. His 500.000+ points are a good start but him being 68 means he won't earn enough to make it to the good place in the time he has left.
  14. I'm not even the bad place hacked the system, what if it was the good place that screwed with it? The point totals could still be accurate but over time the good place could have raised the threshold to get in to absurdly high standards because because even good people still have flaws and those flaws could have annoyed the angels. Maybe initially everyone with a positive point total ended up in the good place, everyone with a negeative one in the bad place but obviously someone who only had 12 points would be far from perfect so the good place said "At least 5000 points!" to weed the people out who almost did as much bad as good. Over time they realized 5000 point people aren't that great either from an angels perspective so the threshold became 10.000 points, then 50.000 etc. We saw in this episode that the new weird sex thing immediately lost the guy more than 9000 points, that might explain Mindy, she didn't get the chance to snort and masturbate her points away. If otherwise awesome, generous and heroic people can lose a million points over a few years just because they're into kinky stuff in the bedroom it would explain a lot, maybe other people earned even more points than Mindy but because they didn't die early human nature made sure they lost a ton.
  15. I doubt it, she mostly seems to sit in her chambers watching tv. Someone has to come to her to request a ruling and if the good place angels don't press the issue she has no reason to get involved. When our four showed up she didn't know who they were for example, she had to look at their files so she doesn't have automatic knowledge of everything that's going on and when you're as old as the universe 500 years is really just a short moment.
