  1. The Hawkins National Laboratory is actually the former Georgia Mental Health Institute in Druid Hills, Atlanta. It is currently part of the Emory University Briarcliff Property.
  2. If she gave David an inch, he'd take a mile. If she was so mute and unpleasant and he was still "falling in love with her" and "committed to his marriage" and trying to kiss her when she had given him no indication that it was wanted or okay, I'd hate to see what he'd try if she was overly friendly with him. Sometimes civility is the best route.
  3. Quoted below - from Zari Batista who was selected for Season 4 - Miami "A little insight... Some of you know the TV Married At First ‪#‎MAFS‬ ‪#‎MarriedAtFirstSight‬ and those that are close to me also know that I was contacted to be a part of the season in Miami. (Sharing with you all some insights). After numerous castings, testings with over 380 questions, footage at my place with my family and friends, footage at work, every day messages, ring sizing, planning an entire wedding with less than 2 weeks, anxiety at its best I decided to opt out and not continue with this experiment but also promised I will share as to why. The concept of this experiment, definitely is something that most people my age would appreciate, however the experiment was more based as a reality show. The Producers (a few in particular) were mostly concerned about ratings, they will message you at all sorts of crazy hours, call you with urgency as if your life depended on this "show". They will advise you what you needed to say oppose to what you really want to say. The questions they would ask was mainly to set you up for failure to revisit your past - of course because a good tv show consist of drama. However, because I value my life, admire my hustle and honestly understand what it's like to be single these days I decided I wouldn't get trapped in a contract and chose not to move forward after being selected one of the top candidates. (Not to mentioned top candidates.. Myself and a 22 year old girl who works in Hooters - I think this alone was what helped me understand what type of show this is) The reason I share this today with you all is because life has a way of somehow allowing you to experience different things for a reason. Thankfully I met amazing souls who also experienced the horrible miscommunication with the "producers" and I promised to share to those that do watch, it's not an actual experiment - it's another reality show where you basically sell your soul to the devil. I know as it gets older it's harder to find your Match but seriously this "show" based on statistics most of the couples after the experiment end up truly getting a divorce. Just another BS reality show. - unless you want to get paid peanuts a week and don't have self respect - go for it."
  4. Not sure where to put this. Sorry if it's in the wrong place. I thought this was interesting insight from someone who was selected for the Miami season. https://twitter.com/ZariBatista/status/706863350374928384 and https://twitter.com/ZariBatista/status/706863771348832256
  5. The court records were requested on 6/4 by DLS background services on behalf of MAFS. The records weren't released to them until 6/29. I believe that the wedding took place sometime between the 6th and the 8th of June. It's an unfortunate thing that these background checks aren't being fully completed before the weddings. Seems shady.See the article for dates http://www.intouchweekly.com/posts/david-norton-ashley-doherty-married-at-first-sight-92532
  6. Apparently when they couldn't find the ring at the hotel on their honeymoon, he flipped a couple tables and broke some things and angrily accused hotel staff of stealing it and production had to go smooth things over. However, the only thing viewers saw was Davina comforting him in the car.
  7. I noticed in the scene from the finale after the decisions have been made and they meet up at the house the next day, that Neil is still wearing his band. I thought that odd since he's the one who asked to be divorced.ETA: I think that the unfiltered episodes were all filmed over a couple of days in the early part of this year - either January or very early February. I don't remember the exact time, but Jamie posted something about going to Atlanta to live out her dreams of being a tv host.
  8. I don't know if it's true or not, but I do think that there was a significant switch in her attitude around the time that they moved in together. To me, it seemed like she was willing to look past a lack of physical attraction if his personality could make up for it. IF this is what she saw or experienced after they moved in together, I wouldn't blame her in the slightest for not persuing anything anymore. Davina was crucified in social media for being cold and aloof. She was placed with a partner with a criminal history and violent outbursts. She threatened to quit the show and the producers threatened her with a breach of contract lawsuit. Speaking up to the experts/producers seems to have absolutely nothing but the opposite of the intended effect.
  9. Wondering if this may help explain why Ashley never opened up. I know that I wouldn't ever consider connecting with someone who behaved this way. http://www.intouchweekly.com/posts/david-norton-ashley-doherty-married-at-first-sight-92532
  10. Tres just posted something interesting to his instagram. It's a picture that says "Never get so busy making a living that you forget to make a life", along with the following caption. "This one hit home hard. I have missed so many important moments over the past 2 years because I work so much. I can't get that time back. Work hard, but make time for the people who are most important to you, or they will never understand how much you do care." https://www.instagram.com/p/BCQHsHunkEf/ I'm wondering if this is any indication of a reason for a possible split with Vanessa (speculated around December). I think Tres is an honest and trustworthy guy, but it seems he needs a longer leash than Vanessa is capable of giving him.
  11. I wouldn't rule out the possibility of them reconnecting off camera. The SM has been convincing (unless Sam is a total whack-a-do) and several times Sam's dad Bob has referred to him as "son", so I would assume that at the very least they've remained good friends. Like I said in a previous post, they don't file for divorce until after the decision show airs so they're still legally married either way.
  12. So apparently Amazon Video accidentally posted the wrong finale part and actually posted part 2 instead of part one. I have the details if anyone wants them. Not trying to be coy, just don't want to ruin it for anyone who wants to wait until tuesday. PM if you're interested.
  13. I have an insider friend who told me that it's in the contract that they cannot file for divorce until after the decision show airs. That means that everyone is still legally married whether they want to be or not. It makes sense in the event that someone could sleuth the records and ruin the decisions.I'm pulling for Sam and Neil.
