  1. Dear GOD. I hope we don't have to watch her shake her thang like that one year.
  2. I think given the template that so many shows use now (preview snippet, actual footage, recap, next preview snippet, etc.,), there's no way to change or improve this show. If they decided to really try to make decent matches and support them properly, AND change the layout of the show, we might stand a chance of seeing real people really trying to make a real go at being married. As it is right now, we have complete nonsense.
  3. Dude. What do you think? Your significant other is more than a few hours late with NO EXPLANATION and you'd be okay with it? ?? Even with none of the above --- out of MUTUAL RESPECT you tell your "other half " that you're okay. It's called accountability.ETA Jack, I didn't mean for that to come off as rude. Reading it back it seems that way to me but was never my intention.
  4. I just know that I'm definitely indigenous. As are most of my remarks.
  5. OK, just watched the Matchmaking episode (thank you very much to the poster who brought that to my attention), and it's verrrry interesting. My 2 big takeaways: 1) Ashley has a degree in psychology and I would bet money that she skewed her results to the questionnaire by giving the answers she thought they wanted rather than truthfully, aaaayyyyuund, 2) How cool to see Neil being so open to trimming his beard, and how awesome to see all his amazing and supportive friends rally around him. I can see now how beaten down he was as the marriage went on; same goes for Vanessa, for that matter.
  6. Have to totally agree with this. He's classy, she's not. Which makes me think of the scene during their honeymoon where she says they're both nice people...HA! This, while messing with her hair and putting it up in a bun at a dining table. I see this a lot lately -- WHY would someone think this is okay? It's not, and is gross. If you know you're going to eat and your nasty mane is going to get in the way, deal with it before you enter the restaurant, please. Please. End of rant.
  7. Screen tests. Ask a question, like what their favorite color is, and if the response is, "Uuuummmmmmmmmmmmm," followed by crickets --- NEXT! !!
  8. I dont know if they would want her. Clown makeup and clothing is always of a certain type, like sad, silly, happy, contemplative. I don't know if there is a type that says Mute Evil Bitch That Says Uuuummmmmmmmmmmmm.
  9. Excellent predictions, Paddywagon! I'd ammend #4 to say that David falls in love with the voodoo doll and they end up happily ever after :)
  10. I completely agree with both of you. No pain, no gain. And that goes for actual decision making as well.
  11. I do tend to agree with the notion that if Ashley gave David an inch, he'd take a mile. And I also agree that some of his delusional behavior was producer driven to just have something to film. I think I've said before that I'm no fan of David, but Ashley ... ... ... I can't get my head around. Maybe she does treat all men that way (hence looking for InstaSpouse), but you'd think that an intelligent being would, at the very least for posterity, behave CIVILLY to another person ON CAMERA. We never heard her talk about her family or even initiate a single conversation except, of course, the SM date accusation. Maybe bitchiness is a symptom of something much greater in her case. Again, I didn't see the early episodes so maybe I'm missing something obvious.
  12. I have no idea what is being said in other forums or SM, but I'm pretty sure I have not read a single post here that hates on Ashley because she didn't give it up for a guy she finds unattractive. We find her despicable because she acted like a mute bitch 99.99% of her time on camera. That's it.
  13. It is 6 months since decision day and I'm really curious as to WHY Sam insists on having us look up her nostrils every chance she gets.
