  1. Just checked and though you'd think it would be fewer, 15 is correct: Michigan, Alabama, Washington, Texas, TCU, Georgia, Ohio St., Cincinnati, LSU, Clemson, Oklahoma, Notre Dame, Michigan St., Oregon and Florida St.
  2. Gotta root for a local (Paul went to high school a few towns down). Has the legs and endurance to compete with Novaxx, but don't think he has the serve or the nerve. Hope he can take a set at least.
  3. Very short clip of incident. Many more longer versions can be found
  4. For me, only one ending will satisfy for the West Ham game: Colin scores the game winner with a move that would make Neymar blush with envy.
  5. Can't deny it's a sticky wicket, but not completely abandoning a Nate redemption since the writers did pretty masterful redemption arcs for Rebecca and Jaime. Could have put icing on the cake if they threw in a line of Jaime being one of the league leaders in assists, both as a silent middle finger to his Dad and a further example that Ted's lesson of making the extra pass got through to him.
  6. I believe CBS aired it this past Sunday
  7. So, do the NIT champs chant We're Number 69?
  8. In addition to xaxat's quote above, let's not forget that until last year, the Jags were one of the scrub teams for quite some time. The Eagles are one of the few teams left who haven't made the regular season London trip and they are playing the AFC South for their non-conference games this year. Not positive, but doesn't home attendance also play a factor (less sell outs = London trip replaces a home game)?
  9. Because it can never be said enough: SHUT UP AL!!! (watched a little cross country skiing this AM)
  10. Not a shock that it gets swept under the rug when there are more Ws than Ls. Still baffles me how Marvin Lewis has stayed on the sidelines in Cincy for so long with the same team mentality and so-so results at best (0-7 in playoff games).
  11. A World Cup NIT Tournament could kick ass (US, Italy, Netherlands, Ireland, Wales, Chile, Ghana, Cameroon, among others). Not surprisingly, US could easily be knocked out in first round.
  12. Racks my brain as well. My (not well thought out) theories: UNC being MJ's alma mater and sharing a conference with a team even more loathed by most College BB fans. No dog in the fight this year, but for me, rooting for UNC, Duke or UK in a Final Four is like going to a Star Wars film and rooting for the Empire.
  13. Feeling your pain, Furious. Definitely one of those Death is not an Option games for me. Rooting (barely) for Seahawks on the off chance they fly too high and fall through the trap door for my Eagles next week.
  14. Going by the news lately, Sam is far from free.
  15. Carl the Deli owner: Did you know you had to heat Italian food? Bobby: Well, you got to melt the cheese.
