  1. Kim giving back the bunny, the way she did, was ultra passive aggressive. It wasn't even so much the action of her giving back the bunny, it was what she said that showed her true colors. There was a clear but still subtle tone of condescension in Kim's voice. It was so patronizing. "Maybe you can give it back when you have good energy... I'm all about energy." She's apparently also "all about" how not to take the high road. It totally put her in a bad light for me. Donate it, throw it away, re-gift it. But then, we wouldn't have this dramatic moment that re-affirms Kim's presence for being there at all. I don't think she had this idea. I don't even think it's the exact same bunny. After hearing all the bickering around Ericka not wearing underwear, it's become a situation of blaming one conversation because of another conversation, stemming from another conversation, which was from a conversation before... and so on. At the base of it all, Ericka didn't wear underwear. She said it. LVP echoed it. PK allegedly saw something and told Dorit. It could have ended there. HA. HA-HA-HA. We all saw what happened after. No need to rehash it. But. Crude comments made about Ericka are unnecessary, especially when it stems from her not wearing underwear. That's what bugs me. I get the two personas thing. I don't have a problem with it. Doesn't mean you can talk about a woman in that way. I doubt PK would like hearing Ken talk about Dorit that way. That said, Ericka either really needed to drop it, or confront it. It's true that Dorit and LVP continued to make snide remarks about her. It was shitty. (LVP has a cutting wit that while funny, does have a bit of meanness to it when she wants to. I get that.) Back to Ericka. Don't say you're "fine" when you're so clearly not. This is passive aggressive behavior 101. *I say all these things knowing at the same time it plays out so well for the camera. Damn you, Andy. I love this show. :P
  2. This is where I'd like to see the books for these two: basic revenue and expense accounts. Last night, Dorit mentioned how much she "works," which is why she needs the three nannies. Sure, fine. Whatever. What does she do? Honest question. If just managing the house is a job, then fine, OWN IT. But she's alluded to this "work" I've never heard about before. Totally agree with any and all grifters comments. They seem to check all the boxes. I'm actually wondering if it's more a Jules, RHNYC, situation, where they really don't have nearly the amount of money they claim. The only reason we found out about Jules situation was because of their divorce. Three nannies, two parents, two kids. Absurd.
  3. There was one of the usual marathons on this weekend. I saw part of a 2016 episode and a 2017 episode (not exactly sure of season/ep number). I couldn't watch. It felt awkward. Very inauthentic*, especially when I knew these episodes were taped before news of the breakup went public. I used to LOVE this show. Now I'd rather watch something else. *I realize there are staged scenes and scenarios for the sake of the show, but pretending to be together is a different animal.
  4. I thought the same thing! When he started to cry, I expected her to hug him but she never even touched him. My first thought was oh wow, they really ARE British. lol. LVP is always talking about her British sensibilities ("you know, stiff upper lip and all") and this was a prime example of it. I had to laugh. After so many years of marriage, I'm pretty sure Ken knew what to expect.
  5. I actually think Erika said, "She's fucked." This is why I, and it sounds like so many others, like Erika. Perfect answer without saying more than two words. Love it. I find myself liking this season, but also finding the theme -- Kim's sobriety, to a point -- a recycled storyline. This can only mean that Yolanda's Munchausen storyline from last year was that god-awful.
  6. Caroline Stanbury's happiness seems to be derived solely from material things. Also, the way she treated the "butlers" at the hotel made me cringe. I wish Andy would do a reunion with these ladies.
  7. Loved hearing Juliet's description of her blog and how it went from hobby to career. All I could think of was Judge Judy asking her, "What do you get PAID for it? How are you making MONEY?" She needs a brand manager and assistant because she runs and household (ok), is an engaged mom (fine), and... walks the dog (uh, what? No.). Like Caroline S., life is hard for Juliet.
  8. Maybe Caroline's Gift Library failed because she felt suffocated and couldn't abide by the rules of economics. You know, supply and demand, price shift, etc. How does the poor thing survive this world that has so many rules. (Sob)
  9. I can't believe HGTV had no clue about this... which makes me question WHY would they ever put out that Happy Holidays promo for the shows they're running now??? Tarek and Christina live a a fairly public life. If TMZ didn't break the story, what was their plan? Keep up the charade? Finally, I'm not convinced TMZ "broke" the story so much as they got a tip. I guarantee ratings will be up next episode.
  10. I got up to the point of the show when I saw Carole ask Jules how much she weighed. Then I changed it. No thanks! Luckily, I have all of you to provide the details of the rest of the episode! Carole and Bethenny sound like those girls in high school who get irrationally jealous whenever another girl one-up's them. Even if that girl has a serious problem, it doesn't matter to C&B. All they see is competition. They're thinking like teenagers. Grow up. The world does not revolve around your vagina, B. Couldn't imagine Carole asking Bethenny how much she weighs or vice versa. And I don't believe for one second Carole didn't know that she wasn't supposed to ask Carole's weight, especially from someone who gets badgered about her own weight. It blows my mind how insanely hypocritical B&C are when it comes to judging others to a certain standard, while absolving themselves of that same standard.
  11. I completely agree! Picture for a second everything Shep said... coming out of Landon's mouth. How well would that go over with this group? I will say I have no issue with Shep not wanting to get married yet, or maybe not at all. I don't care! Get married, don't get married, sleep with women.... it's all fine. BUT: Don't talk about these women and rate them on a scale("binary" -- pompous much?), or say they're DtF, or announce whether you've slept with them on national TV, or you are going to sleep with someone tonight after the show, and then proudly announce you have no intention with them other than sex. Shep wants to somehow see himself as this scholarly and fair person who treats everyone equally -- as he often says. But then he goes and talks shit out the other side of his mouth that negates everything said prior (in regards to women specifically). His words are worthless. You say something off-color or inappropriate once and apologize, it's a mistake. When you say it repeatedly, it's not a mistake. That's how you think. I don't mind Shep, but it really bugs me when he acts as though he's above everyone when his behavior is actually gauche (I can be pompous too, Sheppy).
  12. HA! In biology only. I foresee the two nannies raising the two children, sadly.
  13. Sure. I think Landon and Patty are the far most direct in their judgment of Kathryn. I think the others, however, are enabling indirectly by not calling the men out on their own behavior (e.g. the women giggling at the guys' behavior, the men patting themselves on the back for being able to sleep around) . And, I was also trying to convey how production was playing the whole thing out. I also didn't like what I was watching in lieu of hearing some of things that have appeared to happen Kathryn off-camera. She does not seem well. I don't think being on this show has helped, especially this season. It really reminds me of UnReal, where the producers fill contestants' heads with nonsense and while most can take it, a few can not. Although UnReal is scripted, I wonder how much of it is plucked from these types of shows. I'll argue my own point and say that she signed up for it; it's her own fault. I think there's just a level of compassion I have when it seems clear someone is having issues. Rather than act in a way that is respectful, they instead trigger her volatile behavior for good TV. I think that's the crux of my issues. There should be a limit. Or, maybe she's just a really good actress/bitch. We may not know, but I'm choosing to err on the side of compassion here. She's the only one with young kids. She just seems completely out of her element here, and it just feels like production has taken it too far.
  14. As I'm watching the reunion, I'm disliking the show to the point I will not watch anymore. Thomas and Shep and Whitney have bragged about how many women they have been with and everyone giggles and rolls their eyes -- "boys will be boys". Yet Kathryn is raked across the coals for sleeping with multiple people. I don't like how the producers (ANDY) are playing this. Why is the woman being vilified by everyone (with the slight exception of Craig)? You've got three guys up on that stage who sleep around (and that's fine!), but when one woman behaves similarly she's crucified. This isn't a fair fight. I'm done with this show.
  15. The scenes between Thomas and Kathryn were uncomfortable to watch. Both of them are being manipulative and petty. It saddens me because it's their children that will suffer because of it. I honestly feel bad for the kids.
