  1. Dennis Day's niece and sister just posted this on the "Help Us Find Dennis Day!" Facebook page: "Our family would like to take this time to share with you that the remains found in Dennis and Ernie’s home have been officially identified as our beloved Brother and Uncle, Dennis Day. The cause of death is under investigation by the Oregon State Police so we will not be making any comments or answering any questions at this time. We are truly thankful to all of you for your love and support. Please keep Ernie in your prayers during this extremely difficult time. Our family is truly thankful to the Oregon State Police for helping to bring closure to our family so that we can finally lay Dennis to rest. We love you Brother & Uncle Dennis!" There were human remains found at Dennis's home two months ago, and it took this long to do a positive identification. I had been very touched by this story, and I today I clicked "follow" on the Facebook page. Within an hour I got a notice of an update, and it was the news everyone had been dreading. Dennis had a long-time companion, Ernie, whom he officially married a few years back. Although Dennis's major claim to fame as a Mouseketeer was in the 1950s, he had a long career as an entertainer and a coach/teacher of the next generation of performers. I hope the authorities are able to find the whoever was responsible for his death.
  2. That would be dramatic! And from my point of view, extremely satisfying! :) I think the best we can hope for, though, is that young Dr. CameraDouche re-evaluates his priorities and leaves his camera work until the drunken Christmas party rolls around.
  3. Totally agree with you, @Zoe. After all, 99.9 per cent of what we know about Howard’s mother happened off-screen. :) Not it to mention our knowledge of the Wolotots....
  4. I’m starting to think that too. At first I really identified with her, and since I am quite people-oriented, I assumed she would be too. But now that I have actually seen her interactions with real live patients, I think her best relationship would be with her microscope.
  5. I’ve seen this in real life. Large family. One bathroom. Grandma next door. (Grandma finds out the REAL reason her adult child encouraged her to stay close).
  6. You are right: this episode was NOT the excellent calibre of the first few seasons. But I did like the closing scene with Raj and the girlfriend’s husband. They had a sweet moment of agreement and bonding. It was a win for bromance and for marriage vows!
  7. Add me to the list of people who will not miss the First Lady. However, I did shed a tear for our beloved President Kirkman and for Kiefer.
  8. I like that he asked the audience member if he had allergies to applesauce before shoving it in his mouth. As someone with food allergies, I cringe every time Chris demands that the guest open his mouth and eat.
  9. An escape route! And now it looks like he'll die of tetanus because of that nail in his foot!
  10. I honestly thought we were going to lose Daryl there. I was prepared to cry my eyes out an shower curses down on TPTB at The Walking Dead..... SOOOOO glad my Daryl is still alive!!
  11. I have bonded with all my characters on The Walking Dead, so I am pulling for ALL of them to survive. There, I admitted it! I'm not good with loss, and my favourite story lines are when a beloved character gets pulled back from the brink. I know: it's a good thing that I'm not a writer on the show, because people would get bored out of their minds with the lack of tragedy and death. But once we lost Shane and the Governor (may he rot in zombie hell forever), that was enough for me. But my peaceful streak won't prevent me from watching the premiere tonight!
  12. I agree with your thoughts, millahnna. I, too, have been curious about Beth: how long had she been aware of the clone situation? Did she feel close to her clone sisters? What was the content of her conversations with the mysterious Maggie Chen? And did she make any interesting revelations to Art that might affect the development of the clone investigation? After looking at the preview for this episode, I'm worried about Cosima. She's my favourite clone, and I don't want her to die!
  13. But @ShaggyDog, with all due respect, remember that Kira is seven years old! Kids her age will be losing their baby teeth, whether they are in a car crash or not. The show may not have come out and announced that Kira had lost a tooth, but any child her age who loses a tooth is pretty much a non-event. The hospital scenes quite rightly focused on the trauma of the accident and the unexpected miraculous recovery. I don't think it's a plot development cheat at all. In fact, several viewers mentioned on this forum and others that Kira could possibly be the source of the tooth DNA simply by virtue of her age. The only mystery is how the tooth DNA-pulp -- or whatever the magic cure-all stuff is called -- landed in the hands of the powers that be. And the show answered that mystery this week.
