  1. "This was so boring, so predictable and so dumb, as every drama Fillion has tried to make." And yet you continue to watch.
  2. The roommate, Tamara, didn't find Tim because she was at the precinct in a protective situation from Rosalind, along with Bailey, Gray's wife Luna and others. When they realized Rosalind had crossed the border and left the country, Tamara obviously didn't make it back to the apartment before Lucy did.
  3. You've never heard of a joke? A humorous comment made in jest to relieve a stressful situation.
  4. This show has always been a mix of humorous and serious, that's life as a cop and the point of the series. I can guarantee you cops run into characters like Skip Tracer Randy or humorous traffic stop situations, and serious or deadly situations. It runs the gamut in the day to day for a cop. As for previous characters that are no longer on the show, Jackson was mentioned recently (not by actual name) in a conversation between Lucy and the new rookie. They referred to Lucy, Nolan and Jackson coming through the academy together and that one of them was...."no longer here" I believe Lucy said. Isabelle was alluded to in a fairly recent episode about drugs. Someone told Bradford something like "you should know that considering your history" in a conversation. I know they've referred to dead Mercedes Mason's character once or twice during the series after her death. They have 42 minutes for an episode. Characters that are gone don't need to be mentioned often, what's the point of that.
  5. This is so weird that some people experienced this, I certainly didn't. And that's definitely not Nathan's voice doing the narration as someone said.
  6. I do, but she didn't specifically state that she was the one who asked to be written out, she alluded to it with her postings about her severe post partum issues during the time she was filming the show. I think it may have been in her Instagram stories, which disappear after 24 hours. That's likely why you can't find it now.
  7. I'm thinking Mekia is pregnant in real life and they have to find a way to incorporate that into the storyline. There was even a shot at the end of the episode last night when she was talking to James where it looked like she already had a bit of a small bump. And unless they plan to try and hide her bump for the rest of the season, I doubt there will be a miscarriage storyline.
  8. Nothing they've done on this show has made Nolan (not Nathan) try to seem like a "twenty something sex symbol". There may have been the first or second episode of the series where the bar waitress gave him her humber. That was 4 seasons ago and related to the changed life of a good looking recently divorced guy, no matter the age. Nathan doesn't lie about his age, he doesn't hide his age. In fact he celebrates it. I think you're looking at it through a biased lens.
  9. Tim’s sister: “that’s why you’re still single” Tim: “I’m not” He’s right, he’s not. He’s divorced. “Still single” to me means never been married. It doesn’t necessarily mean he’s seeing someone. If she has said “that’s why you’re single”, it would have been correct.
  10. That promo seemed to me to be intentionally edited to make it seem like Nolan was ring shopping. It was pieced together to make you think that. My guess is he is just shopping for her Christmas present, and that whole "proposing" thing is a red herring.
  11. I’ve seen many people happy about their relationship. Most of the vocal Chenford fans don’t like it because they’re worried it steals time from their potential Chenford scenes. I think Nolan’s relationships are portrayed very realistically for a recently divorced person. They date people. You rarely find a new relationship right away that works and lasts. You date several people until you find someone that’s right. It’s not like Nolan dates someone new every couple episodes, as indicated with by “revolving door” analogy. In 4 seasons he’s dated 3 women with long stretches in between. That’s real life.
  12. I find it so interesting that Titus was very very active on Instagram, particularly promoting his music. Then suddenly nothing, crickets for months now.
  13. Castle was all about the will they/won't they. That doesn't exist here. The only thing the same is that they interact on their jobs. And in TR they don't work together every day in the all day like Castle. The Nolan/Bailey relationship is nothing like Castle in my opinion. And note this comment from the article: "Nolan having a love interest with whom he also interacts professionally echoes the successful formula of Fillion’s former hit ABC series Castle." This comment is Nellie, the article author's comment, not Hawley's. Author has no idea whether it will echo Castle or not. I like Bailey. I think they play off each other well.
  14. Yes, Mercedes posted about her severe postpartum depression on her IG account quite a while after she left the show. I suspect it was her choice not to reveal her issues publicly at the time, so Hawley was following her wishes. He did talk about why they killed off her character after that episode but I can't remember the exact reason he gave. But even though Mercedes asked to leave, it was up to Hawley etc. to decide how and why her character left the show. If I had to guess, that interview with Hawley was TVLine or GiveMeMyRemote in a post episode interview.
