  1. I would have to re watch the episode and pay closer attention, but I feel that annoying or not, the tribe should have shown some concern for Karishma. I have been around many people I didn't care for, who have gotten hurt, and its human decency to say "Are you okay"? That is without being in a game. I would need to see how far she was from everyone and how loudly she spoke. But even Elaine, who seems to be Americas Sweetheart this season, seemed to not notice. It was just really weird. The fact that the next thing we saw, was it was nicely bandaged, also seemed off. Generally we see medical come and attend to people. Her cutting herself was part of the storyline, so therefore, we should have seen an outcome. I was glad to see Tom did not get voted out. I tend to root for the 40 plus age group, since that is mine age group. Tom seems strong and also seems to have common sense and treats everyone as if they are valuable to the team. If Vince was allowed to take something of substance from the other tribe, he should have, he could have come back and said, "There was a personal challenge for me, and I was able to win something for our entire tribe, so I won us this Flint, or Machette, or some spices....." Dean.....insert foot in mouth....everyone has done that in their lifetime, his just happened to be on TV. HAHA, and he sucked at the puzzle just as much as Karishma. As far as drawing names from the bag, is everyone's name in the bag, so you can potentially draw a name of someone from your own tribe? Or is only the competing tribes names in that bag? I hope Idol Island doesn't take up a ton of time each episode. While I don't hate it, my reason for watching the show is the challenges, and I would hate for there to only be one challenge an episode, because of the individual challenges on the island with Sandra and Rob. As far as clothing choices, I feel like in seasons long gone, about midway thru, the contestants all of a sudden had swimwear. Not sure if it happened at the merge or what the rational was for it. Seasons of late have been scrappy underwear, and why they think the general public likes that is beyond me. However, Karishma could leave her pants on, I notice that Elaine does, and there was a girl last season that wore her leggings the whole time, so she didn't have to be in her underwear. I would not have pegged her as being 37, she looks much younger than that.
  2. I agree with other posters, Elizabeth was in a no win situation. Why wouldn't she try to make fire, BR didn't say "If you don't try to make fire against me, I may have other options"...So if it had been me, I would have assumed my option was try to make fire against Rob, or lose a vote, what do I have to lose to try? I will save my making judgements on Dan, until I see more episodes, these shows have a tendency to edit people in a certain light, so I'm not going to judge based on one small clip. I do feel that oftentimes people have advantages in this game, athletes, or people that have jobs that help them in survivalist situations. I am a huge fan of Dancing with the Stars, and am always shocked at the fact a few people have dance backgrounds. They are part of girl bands, or currently the Bachelorette showed her pictures from dance from when she was a kid, and her Miss TN or whatever state she is from, talent was dance....But she doesn't have an upper advantage, because even though dance was her talent....she never liked it, until she was on DWTS....HAHA I do like this cast, I feel like they have strayed away from the usual demographic....In that I feel like every character has a maturity level that we haven't always seen. It's not an age thing, it's an "I can take this person seriously thing'.....
  3. I thought Mackenzie did awesome in the hip hop #, they should focus on that more for her than the acro. The Mini's were so made up that it's hard to tell what they really even look like. I did enjoy the talk Abby had with the little 6 year old peyton. And I thought she had said a mini team was aged 6~8, but many of the girls stated they were older than 8, so they must just be short. I think that Kendall is average looking. I am also baffled that for season after season they imply she is so pretty and can't rely on her looks forever. When it comes to beauty I feel like Kalani knocks them all out of the water. They all (like the mini's) are in full make up even when rehearsing. JoJo is cute, but the fact that her mother must color her roots every 2~3 weeks is scary. Beauty is certainly in the eye of the beholder, and although none of the girls is unattractive, I do not find Kendall to be the knock out, people imply she is. Jill is Nutz, but I take it all with a grain of salt, as I am sure she is encouraged to be acting the way she is. I find it funny that Jess pointed out Kendall and crying about the mask/make up she removed, when she was the one that tried to console her and tell her it didn't look as bad from the audience. I agree JoJo has a ton of personality, but I don't think she has great technique. Her stage presence makes up for her lack of skill. Where Kendall has more skill, but lacks the stage presence. is .53 a good rating?
  4. I thought it was nice for Jessalynn to try to make Kendall feel better. That explains Kendall's bright red face. It looked painful. I feel like there was no dancing in Mackenzie's dance. Lots of acro. I guess I don't know how acro is judged at a dance comp. But you would think there would need to be some dancing in it, otherwise it should be competed at a gymnastics meet. I didn't think Mackenzie was giving attitude either. Just stating a fact. I feel bad she has to take the brunt of Abby's anger. But I also enjoy when Melissa gets all wigged out and twitchy.
  5. I think the show kind of had to change the scope of Melissa, now that Maddie is gone doing her other projects. I am sure Melissa signed a contract, and is legally obligated to be on the show. Otherwise you know she would be on location with Maddie. And I agree, they need to do damage control with Mackenzie, after the unflattering Meet and Greet behavior. So it's best to make her the underdog this time around. That way we will feel sorry for her. I still can't believe Nia is even back this season. Not due to her dancing ability, but because of all the drama from last season. Who fell during the group dance? I totally missed that. I also think that the teacher/mom from the competing dance school looks like Kate Gosselin. And there is another mom from that school that I think looks like a t*****, the one with the tattooed on choker. Sorry if this has been repeated, this is my first post. I thought all the solo's were super basic, there was not a large degree of difficulty to any of them, nor did I see anything new or unique.
