Everything I've read has found Skye plenty annoying, at least until the Post-Winter Soldier upswing. I pretty much agree with the AV Club review. Though it's weird that they review seasons right before the finale airs.

It's amazing how much better the show has become now that it's built up momentum and has some real stakes. - Evil!Ward is great. I hope he stays evil! But I fear he's a triple-agent. - Does anyone know if Patton Oswalt will appear in future episodes? - Now that Ward is evil and Skye seems actually competent, Fitz is the only clunker character on the show right now. - Sucks that Nick stopped reviewing this *just* when it got good!

Have not read the comics, but I think the game's story/characters are SO much better than the TV show. It's not even funny. I would recommend the game to anyone, even if they're not a gamer. (Honestly, it's not much of a "game.") As to the debate above, I think the choices you make FEEL momentous/tense/exhilarating when you make them, which is a credit to the game's design. (You have to be aware, on some level, that the game is rigged.) Playing through a second time (while still fun), you start to see through the infrastructure of the story and understand how your choices affect some things but ultimately don't change the story all that much. The brilliance of the game's design is that there are no good choices. The videogame center of our brains wants to get a perfect score, but that's not possible here.
