  1. Yeah, me too. Most of it tied up neatly, but it felt rather anticlimactic. "Oh, the body at the school bus was Pheobe... NBD..."
  2. I noticed that too. As her time with Frankie went on, she looked healthier and healthier. She lost that sick grey color, and her cheeks and lips pinked up. Maybe she was "in love"?? Maybe being out of the sick bed helped her? Maybe the makeup crew got lazy... So many good questions and interesting points are being made by everyone here! There's a lot to wrap up next week, and I'm not confident they'll tie up all the loose ends. After it's over, I may re-watch some episodes to catch the little things I missed. Also, I noticed that I had trouble understanding the dialogue sometimes in this episode. I can't remember specific examples, but several times I thought, "what did they just say?" Did anyone else notice that?
  3. First of all, if Frankie was a medical student like he said, he would have known that you DON'T DO CPR ON A COUCH! You do it on a hard surface. It seems they were having sex on the floor, so why would he move her to the couch to do CPR, when, as someone in the medical field, he'd know better?? (Unless they were on the couch doing some post-sex cuddling by then...) If Pheobe died and Cora disappeared for two months, why wasn't there a publicised, massive search for them? Is the skeleton at the school bus going to be Pheobe? Her parents talked about her dying, though, so how was her death explained to them? Personally, I think that was a LOT of sex and drugs for a sick teenager who's never been around peers before. The scene where she's talking to her sister outside the bar, but we'd already seen it as Cora talking to the other girlfriend... That was a trip! It did make more sense with the conversation being between Cora and Pheobe, IMO. All in all, a very trippy, not-sure-what-I-should-believe episode. Although I was happy enough not to see Ambrose or that skeleton-face lady detective they brought in to be over him.
  4. I was wondering that too. It was clear that we were supposed to see her, ever so nonchalantly, of course. So, Cora grew up next door to JD and had teenage, first-time sex with him? AND Cora's father was having an affair with JD's mother? Or some other neighbor? Where was Cora's mother in this episode? I don't want to see her nastiness ever again, but she seemed strangely and conveniently absent.
  5. It was very interesting to learn more about the sick sister and their relationship... as freaky as it was/is. I'm not convinced that the sister died "a month after Cora left," like the evil mother said.
  6. I liked this episode better than Episode 2. Quick observations... Progress was made on several fronts. We learned some good information, but we also were teased with threads that weren't tied up. It seemed to go deeper into issues than last episode. I loved the scene in the grocery store when the dominatrix girlfriend spilled the items, Ambrose got on the ground and started picking them up, then she walked away. Not loving their relationship, but totally dug how she handled the situation (i.e. him "breaking up" with her the last time she saw him). One thing I wasn't clear about -- was JD using a cane?
  7. This bothers me to no end. In this episode, it was completely unbelievable when the guy who was burned and MELTED INTO THE HELICOPTER SEAT was sent to the Burn Unit, then magically appeared back in the ER! As if it was totally ok for his burn wounds to be exposed to all the nasty junk floating around the ER. And I chuckled at how he was conscious, alert, and concerned about the other patient's condition, the guy originally air-lifted from the cruise ship. I like the show, but things that are THAT preposterous turn me off.
  8. Since no one else has mentioned it... Was I the only one distracted by Julianne's dress tonight?? The first time (and every time) she was shown, it popped into my head, "Omg, you can totally see her nipples! How distracting!"
  9. I actually enjoyed the back stories that weren't about dead parents... (I'm terrible, I know.) I agree with others that the Contemporaries were overdone and generally "meh." I just don't care for or about Jana and Gleb. Terra and Sasha (who I usually love) were cringe-worthy. I can't even remember Ryan's. Amber... I really want to like her, I think she could be great, but she's so timid! What is she scared of? Let go, girl, and show us what you've got! What was all the hugging for Marilu about? I didn't understand that. I'm already tired of her and Derek, and thought they were over-scored. I could watch Artem dance for hours! Love him. Which brings me to James. Just... WOW! Totally impressed before tonight, and now knowing about his wreck and injury, even more amazed! He is an incredible dancer, and it's beautiful watching him learn new dances each week. He got all my votes tonight.
  10. Which stars weren't there tonight? Mischa. Marla. Anyone else?
  11. Great episode, seemed like it flew by. I think it was a fairly accurate portrayal of SOME of the things that can happen during a massive heart attack, but I'm betting Jesse's recovery will be nothing like real life, where you have months off work... All the threats to Mario ("get back here right now!"), yes it was building up to a big punishment, and then....nothing. I was worried for him, then kind of let down when NOTHING was done. I mean, you can reprimand someone without firing them. I LIKED the kiss at the end! I was quite surprised by it, but I thought it was a cool thing for her to do. I was expecting her to say, "Do you still want to get some breakfast/lunch/dinner? How about now?" I was not expecting such a gutsy move. But good for her! Like everyone else is telling her, she needs to LIVE. And that man is dead sexy. (long time lurker, first time poster)
