  1. Christine prefers the villains over the princesses. She channelled her inner Cruella DeVille and decided to stop being only the "fun and bubbly" woman Kody wanted and was herself...Cruella...and let the mean flow out.
  2. Shenanigans !? This stuff is serious! Wine is involved !
  3. Fair warning. Get used to screaming or throwing something because it doesn't get any better from here on out. Just when you think you have seen Kody at his worst, and you think he can't sink any lower...he goes lower....and lower. By the time you get to the most recent episodes you will understand that Kody Brown is the newest name for the deepest most subterranean Asshat microbes ever discovered.
  4. I suspect "losing his home" is in reference to Christine "taking his house" away from him and Janelle not giving him a house. Now he is stuck with all his stuff to deal with.
  5. Janelle's work is convincing people to buy Plexus. Janelle, Maddie and Christine all now push Plexus on their social media.
  6. This is where my head got stuck with it all as well. Normally all names would be written down on a piece of paper, put in a hat and passed around. One name per person. But...everyone on a phone call/chat thread/zooms...whatever and how are the names "drawn" ? The ONLY way my brain can work it out is that ONE mom is holding a hat and calls out a recipients name and then draws from the hat in front of her and calls out the assigned name, then someone writes it down? Or...as you say Robyn has a notebook and actually chooses who will buy who (her kids') gifts. However what I think Robyn was wanting was that "magickal Brown family experience" of gathering around the tree and passing the hat for her littles to "experience" for themselves. Hence insisting that a zoom call with every. single. brown. child. stopping their lives to entertain Robyn's whim. I have never done a zoom type call. If you have five adults and 18 kids...that is 23 little squares on your computer screen with little heads in each square. So...how is Sol n Ari supposed to make sense of ANY of them? Robyn wants what she wants and everyone else be damned.
  7. Translation? "" Iffin they are gonna leave then they need to have a conversation with ME"" Also "" They are disrespecting ME as their sister wife by not going through ME to leave "" "" I am NOT letting go of this until THEY face ME and say they are leaving ME "" ...Me..sniff. sniff. ME...me... . ...sniff . . ... me
  8. I recently rewatched this part on the show because I also had in my head that the bio-dad was implied with Dayton's accident. However, Robyn states that Dayton was riding ATV's with "some friends" and that is it. I suspect that it was the fans that used the vague answer to imply her not wanting to mention that Dayton would have been with the (bad abusive) bio Dad. I also remember way back when someone looked up the Vegas houses and found a lean on Robyn's house for Dayton's medical bills...also then implying that bio Dad didn't pay or help pay for Dayton's accident. Thanks to Mykelti wanting $fame$ and $attention$ from Patreon we have the full-ish story of Dayton being with Kody and one of the Utah man friends who owns a pawn shop (not sure if its the same one we saw connected to Myketi's wedding) riding ATVs. Dayton was alone when he had his accident and it was Hunter who found him and helped him. Naturally for the cameras Kody can't have any of that pesky criticism land at his feet and so the Brown family vagueness...which also helped to imply the bio Dad. As for Hunter and the USAF Academy. It was mentioned on the show that he was attending but nothing on anything specific of the steps it takes to get accepted. Hunter did first go to the Prep School attached to the Academy which is a one year program to help with the academics, he then completed the four years at the Air Force Academy. In my humble and personal opinion I do believe that Hunter is one of the kids that ultimately benefited from the show. Getting out from under the polygamous bubble in Utah and home school church "coalition" led to a better education and career path.
  9. I think Robyn's disdain for Hunter started earlier than her pregnancy announcement. I recall suffering through that 3 hour interview that Paedon did on youtube and he mentioned that when they were in the Lehi house Robyn was ordering Hunter around and Hunter hit back with that classic kid reaction "You are NOT my MOM!". Bam... Robyn singled him out for forever after that. And shocking that we find out from Mykelti about Dayton's ATV accident that it was in fact Hunter who found Dayton and helped him get help. Not even that could change Robyn's view on Hunter.
  10. Oddly enough Kody told a different version of the beginnings of the show when he was interviewed on the youtube channel Mormon Discussion. I recall him saying that the adults and some older children did a talk in NY (?) and that got them noticed... I don't think he gave an exact time that this happened. It was a hard interview to get through...because...Kody... Not a lot stuck with me past his bizarre way of answering everything with "I wasn't there...I don't know if it is true" instead of any kind of real opinion. Maybe that is just a fallen Mormon response to the constant testimonies that always end with "...and I know the church is true"
  11. And...in all of these years watching and discussing the show online. It's being revealed how RIGHT we all were. Just watching what they put out on camera really gave them away even tho they often said something very different...the viewers figured out pretty quick what was going on.
  12. She is certainly quite the character to unwrap. Watching the old episodes back you can see her sour face when anyone talks about the "before time". She desperately wanted what the OG wives had...but somehow she wanted a fantasy version because it's pretty obvious that they were all dysfunctional from the get go. She wants what she wants, but she doesn't want to actually work at getting it...she wants it handed to her and "performed" for her.
  13. Gee...I think we ALL know who it is !
  14. Ahh Robyn the great "I don't know...I don't remember" actress.
  15. If I am remembering correctly the $3,000 number is the amount for just the Victoria Secret store card with the $32,000 being the whole debt. But ya know...those long legs don't cover themselves.
  16. Adding on ... and $30,000 in credit card debt. To this day a question I have is... I want to know exactly in the timeline when Janelle found out that Robyn also brought this debt with her into the family. Also at the time of the proposal, Kody said "was at an all time financial low" (paraphrased from the book). So...was Kody exaggerating about the financial low or were they desperate to bring in Robyn because he went "hubba hubba" for her and wanted that teevee show despite her tag along debt.
  17. At least for me, this is why I am still here. Sittin' in this chair watching the show and discussing it online...since way back to the beginning of Mister Sisters' blog. For me, Sister Wives is a lesson in emotional manipulation and emotional abuse. Control through misogyny, religious bubbles and above all...double speak. Trying to figure out exactly what they are saying when they talk in circles and their own language of Mormon flavored vague. Piecing it together like a jigsaw puzzle that is all black with all the same shape pieces. Using all the body language, eye rolls, stone faces and the endless tap dance around the topics.
  18. The detail about the ring being for Robyn's daughter(s) comes from the catfish. It was one of the many stories from Jackie that were considered hard to believe back then. Some were "hmm, plausible" and some seemed over the top and unbelievable. But ever since they spilled the ring beans story it instantly became a real story. The Robyn's daughters part would have been considered an unbelievable add on except that Janelle in the interview added in a plain spoken nonchalant way that the melted ring was going to be for daughters...but not specific daughters obviously. Making it point more to either Aurora or Brianna or both may have come from this magickal ring.
  19. I think in the beginning Meri and Robyn did have a bond. I also think it was because Meri was desperate for a buddy within the family. It's more and more obvious that Janelle and Christine worked together as the family unit...Kody buzzed around where ever it was easiest for him and Meri was just there trying to make it work, but primarily focused on Leon. She wanted the friendship within the family that Robyn offered in the beginning, as well as the favor from Kody in her support of the fourth wife. The issues stem as most of them do...Kody is Kody and he does and gets exactly what he wants every time. And it's now glaringly obvious that all of them played a role in cleverly crafting a narrative to present to the audience to sell all they had because they were financially under water.
  20. I think the catfish saved the whole damn show. If you look back to Season 8, which started airing in January 2015 it is Madison and Mykelti graduating, Daytons eye surgery, another roadtrip to meet up more polygamists, Annie moving into Christine's house and then the Anthropologists. So pretty much a tiny bit about normal family and set up scenarios to film content. In real life January 2015 the legal divorce was discovered and leaked online. All of a sudden there was lots of chatter about the show and the family. At the tail end of Season 8 they stuck in Meri "dropping a bomb" by seeing a lawyer about a divorce. By the time the final episode of the season happened Meri was gearing up in the catfish timeline. I don't remember the specific numbers for the ratings back then, but I do remember that each season had a "they might get cancelled" going round and round, yet...they kept coming back. Now looking at the show and it's at the top 3 shows in Discovery +. This seasons first episode premiered with their highest ratings ever. The catfish storyline kept the whole thing going and brought in more people watching. That kept them going until the Flagstaff move. I wonder if they agreed to not bring up the catfish anymore because it stopped being mentioned. But Meri's exclusion from the family in general was obvious. Between the 2018 move and now the family has really imploded, and its obvious the last few seasons that they are financially riding every moment they can put on camera. Covid was the second catfish type tidal wave of content. And now all they have to give us is all the back story and all the dirt that was under the rug from when the show even started and back to the very very beginning. Fully contradicting a lot of the snow job they have been giving us. Meri seems to be "more real" in some of the talking heads and I suspect that her anger with Christine over dropping the ring story was also because Meri wanted to own the timing of how and when (and if) that story was every made public. Since she also added in her couch response the fact that she was "looking for a friend" because she didn't have any in her family it looks like that will always be her version of reality. One other response earlier in this season she mentioned that "a lot of made up crap" was online about the catfish. If she does ever speak/write publicly about her experience I am sure the banana photos, voicemails declaring Kody "less than", the name "Sam" scratched into her arm etc will be lumped into "made up crap". While Meri is always saying "keep it real", I doubt she will truly admit that there was more than wanting a friend to talk to within the catfish relationship. I would like to know within the timeline when she became friendly with her buddy Jenn. Pre, during, or post catfish in Vegas.
  21. Wow. Sounds like a Barnum style marketing line for those "suckers" born every minute. I'm sure Kody feels so very strong with his $jewels$ on while sh*tting on the family he pretended to love for so very long. I'm sure he was quite the sucker in the gallery of the surreal paintings thinking his grand investment was comparable to a Picasso or Monet and would make everyone think he was a grand deep thinker for having surreal paintings to look at. At least the frames should hold value.
