  1. She called him though b/c he is the most supportive of her choice as a chef. I'm Asian, and my parents are the same as hers. So set in their ways and their expectations that they can't and won't support anything else past that. Support usually comes outside of the family..
  2. But, a penguin shouldn't be scared of a fish, ha ha. Anyways, what a great episode! Can't wait until next season
  3. It's like Season 1 all over, again. Everybody's back to their original roles except for Nygma. I'm sad to see the parting of Selena & Bruce though.
  4. Yeah, I'm super happy that Gotham is back! I feel bad for Oswald and what they will do to him. He's done some nasty stuff, but nobody should go through something like that. I'm not a fan of Nygma, really. At least, Oswald has genuine, human feelings for his mother. Nygma doesn't for anybod, but I like his relationship with Oswald. Sheesh, I've always liked Gordon as the moral character. I don't really like the direction they are taking him in Gotham. Unless, these are lessons for him to learn. I hope we see Bruce & Alfredo next episode. When them and Gordon have a scene together, it makes my insides cheer with glee.
  5. That was Alvarez's fault! I can see why Gordon & Dent pick on him all the time. He just wasn't taking the whole issue seriously.
  6. My thoughts for this episode: Geez, I thought that was Firefly at the end until ice cams out. I absolutely loved the "Save Baby!Bat" Dream Team. I couldn't tell if Silver is being sincere or playing Baby!Bat until she screamed before they could kill Bruce. I'm creeped out by that lab of evil people. Couldn't that guy hear Selina jumping on that railing? I could...Some guard. Oh my gosh, I think Alfred needs a vacation. I love Fox. Loved that he could figure out Ed's riddle so quick and seems to have more sense than the most of them. You know most of these guys won't die, but these scenes always make me cringe in suspense. Geez, it won't be back until February -_-
  7. No, you're not. This is a story...a fairytale story and things are not going to go the way WE want it. We are use to stories having happy endings. For once, this "fairytale" is showin stories without immediate happy endings because they aren't in the Enchanted Forest anymore. They are in our world...a world full of not-great endings.Disney changed stories from Grimm and others to have happy endings. I want to see Mulan end with honor and dignity. I want Belle happily dancing with the human Beast at his castle, but those are those Disney stories. And, this story is a story.
  8. Oh my gosh, all of those dark ones?! I see some great stories starting though how can they possibly in 1 hr???
  9. You know sometimes I forget that Gotham is a fictional show and set in a fictional city in the same setting as Superman. So, most of the things seen in the show will defy the laws of physics.
  10. If it comes down to Bruce leaving early to train, I wonder if the show will split scenarios from Bruce training in Japan to the current events of Gotham.
  11. Dear Diary, I love spicy mustard! And, Riddler and I are BFF now.
  12. I loved the team up of Baby Batman and Baby Catwoman. I loved Bruce outsmarting Silver; I take it that this is a preface to his future self. Omg, Nobody loves Jim but Lee! That was hard to watch at the end. I guess Penguin doesn't like Jim anymore. Poor Alfred!! I wasn't mad that he was punching Tabitha considering her craze pleasure in killing people. Next week is going to be EPIC.
  13. Idk about the rest of you. I like the Baby Batman scenes because there aren't usually crazy, demented, or grotesque. I feel bad for Jim b/c he'd wanted to be a good cop from Tues beginning, and he still tries not to give into his temptations.
  14. The Merida/Ruby/Mulan trio paralleled wonderfully with the Charming/Hook/Robin trio.
  15. Woohoo, talk about a cliffhanger! I can't wait to see Dark Hook next week. I wonder what will happen next. I'm kinda ready for the show to turn Emma into a swan; maybe, we can get some lion king or other non-human stories. It would be interesting if they were. I assume since her last name is Swan that she's the Swan Princess. Omg, I realized why Merida was annoying me from the Belle/Merida story. They paired her up with the wrong girl to buddy up. Belle and Anna worked because they are similar girly girl. Sorry, Once Belle annoys me. Merida works better in a storyline with Emma, Snow, Ruby, or Mulan because they are the same...strong, smart women who kick asses. I enjoyed the Merida/Ruby/Mulan trio.
