  1. Just add me to the chorus of all those who loved the finale. Everything that was so great about the season included is some small way. And Trixie!! I don't have a problem with Charlotte coming back as a lawyer or confused person, but Mum better be gone. After what she did to Dr. Linda, I almost ripped my husband's arm off, sitting on the couch chanting "she better not have killed Dr. Linda" through half the show. I'm not sure how I feel about Luci attempting to tell Chloe who he really is. On the one hand, it would be nice for someone else to know, but she just doesn't strike me as the most open-minded person. If he was going to tell someone I'd probably vote for Ella ("Oh right, your Dad is always watching...") or maybe even Dan. And yes, definitely big thanks for the beautiful ending scene and shirtless Tom Ellis. Hallelujah!
  2. Very curious about the conversation that Chloe had with Dr. Evil before he sliced his throat (Seriously? Girl, shoot him in the shoulder when he tries that!!). All that "you'll find out soon enough". What was he referring to? Will Chloe have to make a choice or Luci? Or was he just talking about her dying? I know I saw the doctor in next week's previews so obviously he is coming back, but is it just to save Chloe at Luci's insistence or is the doctor not all that he seems (or is he more than he seems)? "Douche" "Dick" - Bwahahahaha!!
  3. Again, again, again. So amazing! Loving everything, except the almost kiss. Not sure I want things to lead that direction. When will TV learn that not all male and female leads need to be romantically involved? They could be great friends! If it turns into a Luke and Leia thing that would almost be better in my opinion. What does Mom want to do with Chloe to get home? Kidnap and threaten, trick them into kissing? What endgame does she think is the key? Loved the Nietzche and "butt stuff" lines, had to rewind for both of them because we were laughing so hard. My favorite had to be "You slept with my Mo..Marlotte?!?" What is a Marlotte anyway? So Lucifer can't lie or won't lie? But Amenadiel has no problem lying (badly) all the time? Interesting difference. Poor Dan, he got used. At least he got some good sex out of it... (??)
  4. Ella: Great ideas come in the shower. Lucifer: For me it's usually women.
  5. Yeah, ScoobieDoobs, I thought it was very odd. First, that he stayed all night and then their conversation, or lack there of. I mean if we are some how supposed to buy into the fact that he is pushed into this act (NOT buying it) by all the emotional turmoil of the day, how do you explain staying all night? Wouldn't the emotional 'heat', if you will, be gone after the act was completed? And then the next morning, he's just getting dressed like NBD. I didn't just cheat on my wife with my currently-engaged, previous fiancee. No conversation about what happened or what happens next. I guess he did shut her down when she tried to ask. But still, you have no thoughts on what just occurred? Or what occurred a few hours ago? Nothing? It was weird.
  6. "Great ideas come in the shower." "For me, it's usually women." "How was I supposed to know it was your pudding?" "Because. It. Was. Labeled!" Everything was so great again, the Ella and Luci bits, the stabbing re-enactment was top-notch hilarious. Chloe's eye-rolling only made it better. Definitely curious about what nonsense Mom is up to. She is a very sketchy lady. What was the deal with the sword when Luci got angry? It seemed to burn or smoke, right? And Mom took that as a 'good' sign... She appeared to be satisfied. Loved Dr. Linda working through her devil issues, and finally coming right at the end. You can do it Dr. Linda!!
  7. What were Ross's exact words to Demelza? "I had no choice." Was that it? Good Lord that man is a piece of work! I cheered so loud when she laid him out. I had heard the R/E scene was much more 'rapey', so I was mildly surprised at the consensual looking situation, plus... He stayed all night? Seriously? That is not something he can blame on his heightened emotional state. That's just a lazy man wanting to stay in bed with a warm willing body. There was no "Ohmigod, what have I done" afterward? No "This was a huge mistake, I love my wife", nothing? Only later, as he is riding up to Npara and sees Delmelza hanging laundry, does he seem even the least contrite. "Sorry/notsorry, I couldn't help it." What a d-bag!
  8. Oh, good I'm glad I wasn't the only one who did get to see this episode. I thought maybe, when there was no recap, that I had dreamt it. Seriously, could Dwight not have sent a note or something? "BTW - I got arrested. See U soon. LOL!" And it does seem that Ross cares less and less about the safety and well-being of his own wife and son. Good God, man! Quit with the smuggling and bringing danger to your own doorstep. Although his pronouncement of giving up on Wheal Grace and tending his acres, sounded good; I seriously doubt he will stick to it. Elizabeth needs to buy a clue. George is playing her like a fine violin. Sometimes I like her, but lately she's been very 'helpless damsel'.
  9. So then, if I might be so bold as to ask, what happened to the recap and forum for the episode (whatever number it was) that aired this Sunday (11.6.16)? The one jah1986 describes upthread?
  10. This show!! Totally amazing again. The whole "Dansformation" was great. The first time Luci walked onscreen in that hoodie and skinny jeans, I nearly fell off the couch. The towels were a very nice touch. Luci's accent at the Russian sauna was hysterical. Dan's impression was hilarious. Was definitely cheering for Dr. Linda to open the door at the end. Maze needs her friends. And so does Dr. Linda at this point. So, it's not just me who thinks Chloe looks like crap? Like they are making her up to look like crap? That red eye make-up would look good on no one! She looks like she has the plague.
  11. Love the idea of this! Love the idea that the showrunners are subtle and delicate with their brush. Such a rarity these days. Such a great episode over all. The Trick or Treating, the costumes, the Tom Ellis angst. Also, loved the music as well. I kept hearing the line "He tried to please them all, this bitter man he is" as Luci was playing the piano.
  12. Why is it that the angry ghost lady (Lucy?) can touch somethings and not others? It was driving me crazy through the whole episode. She opened the cell block doors, but can still walk through walls? She can close the Ambulance door and sit on the bench, but can't turn the pages in the book? Can she phase shift at will? I did like the book 'turning' on her. No more book for you Ghost Lady!
  13. The sword belonged to their angel sister Azrael (the Angel of Death). Luci asks Uriel where he got it when he pulls it out, and Uriel said he took it when she wasn't paying attention. Not sure if it has a name. CheshireCat-I tend to lean toward Mabinogia's idea that Uriel was afraid of something that might happen if Mom went home (create chaos??).
  14. So here is my question, and maybe I just missed the intricacies of the conversation, but if Uriel wasn't sent by Dad, why exactly was he there? Yes, yes to protect Dad. But he made some statement about Mom worming her way back into Dad's good graces and Him forgiving her, and somehow that's a 'bad' thing? I'm not sure I understand what he was trying to prevent. If Dad forgives Mom, will something terrible happen? Loved Dan and Lucifer's bonding over the Body Bags movies. Loved Luci offering to take Ella into a back room at the crime scene. Didn't really like Luci running out on Amenadiel right after his confession. I know he had to stop Uriel, but dude, your other brother really needs you. Always happy to see Marc Dacascos. Allez Cuisine!!
  15. Cheese and crackers! The kids and I couldn't stop yelling at the TV with this one. Apples in Agrabah!?! Emma's superpower!?! Snow and Charming don't lie!?! Hook's duplicity with the scissors!?! I did kinda like the Bears and Goldilocks at the spa. That was a nice touch.
