  1. I posted quite a while ago a beautiful horse ran solo I’m happy to announce a beautiful white horse has joined the game.  They’re living amongst each other like friends.   Signed- a person who actually has an innate fear of horses but struggled more than necessary with Brown Beauty living alone

Kokoson was hands-down the least stressful experience I have ever had watching Restaurant Wars. Not just least stressful, but simply a pleasure to watch from planning to service. I was a little scared because the drama-free edit often ends up being the losing team, so this turned out to be just a delight for me.

For me, this is the correct answer. They were amazing and indeed such a pleasure to watch.

I think Dawn could have shouted from the hilltops her dishes and another step up to be Master of the House a la Les Mis and Kokoson wins every time.  They were smart, executed well and made some of the best food judges can recall on RW.

  3. Ebonie is one of the most beautiful people I can recall on these shows. I’m not sure what her angle was with the up/down look with Sonja but I would be guilty as charged in a “wait- your face looks like that and your body is a 10 too!”

And I thought she expressed herself so well during the healing. I’m digging her. I like her a lot so far- too bad Leah was her intro.

Leah reads so fake. I fully acknowledge Andy Cohen and team at better than this than I am but how can they not see the fake, try hard?  It is so weird. She sucks on so many levels.  She’s to me the kiss of death of reality tv- boring.

Whereas my girl Sonja hits the pool heater exclaiming you used to be able to hit shit and it would work- yes S- yes.  This is why I love you and always will.

Lu and Ramona will never tire to me. She gives me things like watching a rerun the other day where she was boasting of her marriage to Tom In such an an extreme way “I was married!  I should have the marital suite (alonel “ to a crash and burn divorce and arrested. And you just can’t quit Ramona- who has such a kicking body.   And brings a detached sense of self sense day one and I’m here for it.

And on another note, Hunter needs to go burn those shorts.

Dear gawd, that was way too much upper thigh/lower buttock flesh to witness.

And Janelle made salmon patties for the picnic?  I love salmon patties but never thought of them as a picnic food.

I'm just glad she didn't post up any pictures on her Instagram of her bastardization of salmon patties.  I'd probably not be able to eat them ever again.

To both Hunter's atrocious shorts *and* Janelle's choice of picnic fare = 🤢

Oh I know- it’s so weird how my eyes only focused on the thighs. I was transfixed and repulsed and couldn’t stop.

  5. @Scarlett45 I use upcountryinc.com.  They wear like iron and great when she’s rolled around in stuff not so great they come out looking brand new.

Knox has one with clouds and a dog with a scarf in a convertible repeating- I’ve bought a lot of collars and like them the best. I use a retractable leash.  If retractable isn’t allowed I have 2 heavy duty.- just bought at pet smart type places.

Non related- Knox is 10 and is quite gray. The attention she now gets is 100X what she once did. People are like “a sweet grandmother” and used to be “I suspect there is pit in that mutt”.  She’s loving the attention :)

  6. Janelle is so bizarre.  Her posts are never relatable they are just weird.  The way she writes never has any humor or upbeat feel.

When I see a story claiming female empowerment I’m like cool- let’s hear it. She got a mat for her knees?  If Janelle had the ability (which I don’t think she does) she could write a pretty engaging post about a bigger girl hitting the gym but that just was lead balloon level.

I assume one can hire a ghostwriter to handle this kind of stuff- why in the world does she not?  I’m grateful for the choice bc the snark is endless but what in the hell?  Her bread looks like a number two a giant dog took at a dog park where I said to my friend “and now we leave”.

It almost felt to me as though Janelle was conducting a survey of the other wives.  It reminded me of those telephone or mall interviewers that ask your opinion on certain brands of product without discourse or input from her.

Haha- yes it did!  And she mentioned one of her “communication styles” was she’d get so excited and I guess laser focused?  J- I can think of some words for you and excited isn’t one.

And I was irritated Christine took the conversation bait and agreed that would fix all things. She was “communicating” with no vagueness she felt unimportant and was met with utter bullshit by Janelle. I wanted a real bonding moment- maybe Janelle goes “I used to feel that way and then I shut it all down and tell myself I don’t care”.

I’d like to think when they watch this and see Robyn (and I find her unattractive inside and out which makes her status all the worse) in her mountain mansion and how he treated Meri last week they would go fuck this- I’m out.  I understand religion makes people stay in less than ideal situations but it doesn’t even seem that’s driving anything more.  Kody saying the woes of polygamy the way I would tells me that ship has sailed.

They are working overtime for these paychecks. Some things are not worth it.

So glad to hear I'm not the only one who cannot stand Petroni.  Dees, dems, dose, and he always looks, well, let's go with unkempt.  I would never eat at one of his restaurants, thank you very much.

Petroni and Guy, the younger, can start their own show.  That way they're both off my screen!

Yes I agree!  Thank goodness I didn’t bet on this bc I was confident this was going to be a bloodbath with Brian as the winner.  Still in disbelief. I didn’t even know Christian had street cred until I saw him on here- I assumed he was a joke. I still view him that way.

For me as a viewer, this show was a smart move for FN bc I love Top Chef but have never given a damn about FN competition cooking shows.  I am really enjoying this one.

I didn’t know the middle contenders but thought they both did a good job- would have been fine with either winning.

I wanted both Volts to win.  I like Brooke but I love seeing what Micheal comes up with.

I think both of the guys who provide play by plays are really good. They’re professional and don’t feel the need to be any type of character- unlike the host.

Michael used the required pan the randomizer dictated much better. To me using it to develop the spices was a cop out. But If the rule is just use it- the why and how is not important- then that is the rule so I need to get over it.

  10. Oh sweet baby cosmo!  People like you are the best!

I find I really like the drop off vet routine. Both Knox and I get nervous at the vet and me not having that energy in the room I think is good.  She’s been twice through pandemic- once for a nail clip (sadly she has to be sedated for that) and this was her annual this week.

I pulled up at 7:55 for her 8 appt.  They come to get her out and take her back. Around 8:12 she comes running out I said “oh no!  Is something wrong!!”   No- she’s just exceptionally terrified of the vet and we thought she’d enjoy being in your car waiting on fecal tests etc.  Yay- all tests came back negative and we listened to music and chilled!
I think I’ll ask if I can do drop off even when it’s not mandated (except for non-maintenance visits which I don’t want- ever)

Is Kam smarter than she appears?

Sometimes I am not sure whether she is putting on an act like when she doesn't know the meaning of basic words.

I don't think she is stupid but I also am not sure she has used any of her "intelligence" to acquire normal information. Not everyone is "smart' - I think Brandi is not a particularly smart woman. Tiffany is obviously extremely smart in terms of traditional academic/intellectual achievements. Stephanie D'Andra and obviously Carey (the one married to the plastic surgeon) are smart women in terms of that.

Emotional smarts are different - Kam seems to be emotionally smarter than someone like Kary (the chirpy Mexican LOL) for example.

I think she is smart. And she has verbalized she wants to know what’s going on with the house. She’s met with “you don’t want to know how sausage is made” type comments complete with “your mom/my wife is so obtuse ” interactions with their daughter.

That dynamic bothers me. She seems to be a punch line.  It’s not the children’s fault but her husband needs to stop.  We all have strengths and weaknesses and even if she plays into the dynamic it could be changed with Court treating her as an equal - which she is.

  12. When I was young  we went to a beach with 4 other families (no wife swapping)  and it was so much  fun. I was on an air mattress  but we beached it and watched Adventures in Babysitting, Troop Beverly Hills etc.  The moms would alter cooking. Some of of the best times of my life- esp since it was just at me and my sis and others had 4 kids (boys!)

As people get richer and families get bigger it’s nothing like it once was. And  I- now 41! Pretty much don’t go bc well- you see why.   But every single time these people look back on times gone by I feel it had to have felt like that a bit in UT (except one man was sleeping with all so maybe not) but man- I could so completely see that being wonderful and nostalgic- esp if you didn’t think about your mom having alternate sleepovers

  13. Bling Empire this show is not. We have Kody and Robyn looking haggard in a U Haul talking finances and where are kids clothes amongst the bullshit in the ‘haul.  Til then we will keep on renting them bc....smart money making decisions.   God doesn’t like waffling- or does he?  Deep thoughts.

This was one clusterfuck of an opening  And I was here for it   The “fancy” water glasses never used deserve MVP.

In all seriousness and she didn’t describe it in a way I followed Christine seems very broken and I don’t want that.  Meri is checked out- shit with a quasi friend much less a sister wife I would be damned to say “I don’t recall this convo”.

Robyn literally and figuratively looks ugly and her  attempt to look good while doubling a martyr is well past the due date

I’m so with you on all. I think Kathryn is being told “be better” and she’s not exactly sure what that entails. Much like when a successful self help person says “be your best self” I want to say- what are concrete things I can do- I will do them!

Hell yes Mad goes below the belt. She views herself so much as a take no prisoner Alpha and it exhausts me.  I can tell she thinks that is “tough” and I want her to have just a bit of kindness. Even though I’m far from Austen’s biggest fan I think he’s been through it with her and felt his reaction was real. She sees him as lesser and she has set her eyes on celebs etc and he was the means to the way.

They did air earlier seasons this week and man- this show was once good and what I loved. Today it’s not.

Hey Brooks, get your lazy ass out of bed and take the poor dog outside to pee and poop. Just hearing his voice was too much.
Oh Jen why so crazy? I think we understand why Coach Shah is never around.

Hey Brooks pick your fancy ass jacket up too if you know your dog is doing what we are all thinking!  By the way- he was aiming for the track suits.

I actually found this a solid episode. I thought the disengaging was wonderful while I found the reasoning sad she said it in a way I really felt for her instead of traditional HW moves

People seem to think alcohol is a problem for Jen and while I don’t disagree I just find her an extremely angry person and able to be set off at any time. She is not good tv and needs to be gone- Mary too.  Mar bc she is stuck in a closet.

There are good bones here and I think it could be a good franchise.

Whitney could be up to 163 lbs. and still be considered overweight but not obese, according to cancer.org's chart for a 5'2" woman.

I personally think those categories don't work for a lot of people, though.  The photo below was a selfie I took of myself in 2009.  I am 5'2" and I weighed around 160 lbs. in the photo.  Do I look like my BMI should be 29 and hovering near the "obese" category?  That wasn't even the most slimming outfit either!

    0408090908a.jpg

    I think you look beautiful.

I don’t think Buddy makes for good television. He’s very restrained and awkward and it makes me feel the same.  With that said if I tried on clothes for my guy it would be boring tv so I’m not necessarily putting Buddy at fault.

But if I, a person in insurance, recognize he’s not good tv how do TPTB not know?  She needs a fun sounding board if this is going to work. A spunky girlfriend bc honestly those clothes did make her look 100x better which is a great jump right there to a good conversation.  And they’ve all hung out with  COVID out so that could happen.  Jump into the dating apps but with someone who has a pulse!

Oddly I find Whitney compelling- I think she can pull a show but I think she needs to get her head out of her ass and start doing things like that- online dating  I’d be along for the ride and would want the best for her.  It would need to be REAL not Chase bullshit but it could be a good show if her ego allowed it.

Here's the question I am left with, did Jen actually buy something for Heather or was the surprise simply the pop up store?

I saw it as a pop up store. Like when Vicky presented Breanna in the OC with a BMW and told her she’d assume the payments.

When Whitney put the onus on Heather during that racing car scene I was done with her.  Then when her dad said they should be thankful for the addiction- what kind of Mary-esque  owned crack pot Rehab is he in?

Madison's outburst was quite nuts. I am rarely taken aback by these shows (especially in a world where we now have Jen Shah), but her anger was unwarranted and weird lol. I had to laugh a little when Shep said "I'm so sorry. I missed all of that." to poor Danni.

But I was so damn proud of Danni she said she was about to put Madison off the dock!  Yes Danni- more of that!

And Danni’s conversation on that dock as said above was one of the best of all season. I’ve never liked Kathryn but in that scene I did not hate her.

Madison is one of the meanest people we’ve seen on these trash shows. I don’t remember the words but when Shep and Taylor were in the pool minding their own biz she was like “know what doesn’t float - a turd” or something equally stupid and made an evil face. She’s like the mean kid on A Christmas Story- just a total piece of shit.

She views herself some bad ass Alpha female who takes no prisoners.....for what?  What is her end game?  She calls Austen a beta, a pussy  (I hate that word), she’d maybe like and respect if he mentioned the King Street trash (or similar) he slept with.  When you say such things the only thing  this viewer feels is compassion for Austen- something I’d never thought I’d feel!  Get the fuck off this show you beta, 7 on your best day, you looked like you had bruises on your legs in your unfortunate  pool “photo shoot” psychopath!   And take Leva with you!

YES. I realized that I left out the wink as she waltzes away. It just makes her look like that much more of a jerk to me. There is nothing about the ads for this show that make me want to see it.

I HATE this commercial!   And while it very well may be a waltz I see it as a weird almost slo-mo walk of a lumbering ogre.  It took me aback when I first saw it bc while I don’t really know her or watch her shows I gather she’s a person who personifies “perfection” and I can’t believe she green lit that promo it’s so bad.

OMG I would totally watch that. It would be fascinating to see her go from unwanted orphan to , was she a lawyer? It's been a while since I saw the show so I forget what exactly she did, just that she seemed well educated, fairly successful and an activist type, all of which would make a great story and couldn't have been easy for a poor black female orphan in the 60s. Also, I liked the actress so I'd be happy if she continued as Jolene.

Yes she had a new vehicle and maybe more courtesy of a partner at her law firm- pretty sure he was married.

I love, love this show.  Best show I've seen in years.  Not only was the story engaging and the acting top notch, the whole 60s vibe with fashion and music was interesting.  People are getting sick of listening to me rave about this show.

When Benny called Beth and we saw that all her friends/opponents were there to help coach?  Bawling.  When she cleared her mind and looked up to the ceiling?  (And everyone else looked up too?)  More bawling.  Then Borgov hugged her.  Lovely.  When she sat down at the end to play a game with the man who looked so much like Mr Scheibel?  Even more bawling.

I've had Classical Gas as an earworm for a couple days now.  Adding Venus to that too.  What a fantastic soundtrack!

I kind of agree about the opportune reappearance of Jolene as (Black) savior.  I'm glad she even fought back against that role.  It was nice to see that she was successful in spite of growing up in an orphanage though.  But in the end the character was just a device to bring Beth back to the beginning so she could begin to rebuild herself.

I was surprised when Beth said she had been in love with Townes.  A crush, yeah, but love?  Beth didn't seem to have such strong feelings for anyone.

I loved this series. I thought they did such a good job of showing human strength and weakness which is so rare these days.

Bolded above are mine-I felt the opposite. And I don’t write this to sound antagonistic but differing. I hated both scenes. When the “team” called her I feared I had switched to a Disney film.  When she looked up- I didn’t need that- she’s a master chess player- this viewer didn’t need a throwback to the orphanage/looking up scenes. It felt very cheesy in such a non cheesy series.

And I recognize and since talking to friends and family I’m in a minority and I’m ok with that. I loved the series- hell I marathoned it  in one day with my loyal dog by my side but no to the ending.  Just let her win- drop the sugar.
