All of this. With almost every judge's critique (not just this episode, but all season), I just wanted to throw things at them and say "WTF do you expect, you gave them NO TIME." It drives me crazy. I have no idea why I still watch this show. I think part of me still hopes that it will be great again. I'm convinced that a lot of potential designers are turned off from doing the show because they don't want to deal with the time restraints. And it showed on the runway this episode. Everything was boring because the designers didn't get enough time to design, shop, or sew. It looks like they barely even get enough time to sleep. Maybe that's why Fabio won, even though his look was odd at least it was something different with some design to it.

And okay start to the series. A lot going on and a lot of characters to follow. I'm glad I had the cast list on Wikipedia up, as well as subtitles on. That helped a lot with following along. I think if I suspend belief on a lot of things, this could be an enjoyable show. I'll give it a few more episodes though to see. It's absolutely stunning visually, so that's a plus.

I was bored, bored, bored through much of the episode. Then they pull that twist at the end about what really happened in Kabul. Now I'm sucked in to find out what happens. Thanks, show.

Yes. A thousand times yes. I wonder if that's why there are so many designers are from more recent seasons, because they're used to the shorter deadlines. It kills me every time they have a one day challenge - yet I can't quit this show. What's wrong with me? I forgot how much I like Sonjia and I'm glad she's on this season. I'll watch this until she, Chris, and Dmitry are no longer on, though I'd be surprised if none of those three make it to the finale.

I'm watching that episode right now. Chris has to be one of the most insufferable people I've ever seen on this show. I'm shocked he helped her with the can.

Although I don't think Char is going to make it much further, but the contestants SHUT UP about her getting another 10 minutes to put in a zipper after the client split it. Invisible zippers do that. If they were in her shoes, they'd all want the others to have said the same thing. I bet even if Tim pulled the contestants away from the muses they all would have said yes, because they would want the same considerations. The zipper was already there, it's not like her design wasn't finished. Sorry Alexander, even with your limited time after scrapping your first design, you should have been able to come up with something better than that, especially with a basic skirt like that.

I'm not really sure what to think of this show. I might wait till it's all out and just watch it all at once. For some reason, I really expected that stag at the end to start talking to the Chief.

It's weird, I really liked this first episode. Seemed like somewhat different take on the pandemic story. Then there was the mole at the very end. Then there were the scenes from the rest of the season, which gave way, way, way too much away and had legit revelations in it. I really didn't want to know most of that stuff, and a lot of the suspense was taken away. Seriously, way too much.

Um, why wasn't the clock silent? Is Heller not dead somehow? Why wouldn't the clock be silent for him?

They most likely had to provide reference pictures. Even if it is a well known character, no one expects the judges to know all the details from memory. Yeah, I think that was from Free!, I think. I saw a bunch of those jackets at an anime con recently. Carl's costume was a hot mess. That Warhammer costume though - incredible.

Don't forget "put the weapon down!" And people not trusting Jack when they should be, then dying because of it.

I kind of agree think it would be cool to introduce Lady Stoneheart this season, but not who she actually is... er, was until next season.
