  1. Yes, Violet is a ways "down the road" as we say and they were fine.
  2. I haven't seen the episode yet, and not sure if you are familiar with the area, but St. Bernard Parish is pretty large. The tornado struck Arabi which for those that don't know is the town closest to New Orleans. Hopefully they were not affected. FYI, I am from St. Bernard and my mother lives in Arabi and she had no damage from the tornado except for lose of power.
  3. Southeast Lousiana girl here too and I was sooooo bothered by the Mardi Gras stuff in general. First of all, even though Mardi Gras can be in March, I have never in my 53 years have thought of it as a "spring" holiday. Not even on the warm years. Second, I realize that they were going for a cinnamon challenge with the king cakes, but they do realize that not all king cakes are made with cinnamon right? Third, YES to the beignets have got to be hot and regular beignets are the best. I wouldn't even try Popeye's chocolate beignets. And fourth, it is not "the Mardi Gras", it is not "the Mardi Gras parade". I know that most of them have not been to Mardi Gras but at the the judges (looking at you Nancy) could educate themselves a little. Okay, long rant over.
  4. OMG, so I know that this is almost a year old but I am just starting the show, but as a diehard LSU fan, Nick Satan indeed!
  5. Hey! I am trying to get my stepdaughter to boomerang to her mother's house after high school since my husband and I are planning on building a new house and I do not want anymore adult children living with us. (might sound selfish, but my daughter is grown and his lives with us full time and her mother lives nearby. She can go live with her)
  6. I saw her post on Instagram on Easter. Bawled my eyes out.
  7. Oh yeah, there is no way that I would try a drinking game with Amy mentioning that she is pregnant. I would be hospitalized with alcohol poisoning within the first 15 minutes.
  8. I told my stepdaughter that it looks like my 7 year old granddaughter (who does her own eyebrows when playing) did them. LOL
  9. I am past 50 and still on birth control while waiting for menopause. I feel ya.
  10. Here in Louisiana we call them camps as well. Either hunting or fishing camps.
  11. I thought that I saw something from Whitney a couple of months ago that there was going to be a season 2 but I could be wrong.
  12. I never did like Camille's Malibu home. It seemed really outdated to me and her "closet" was a complete mess. If I had her money, I would pay my staff extra to keep my closet beautiful.
  13. I just watched the second episode. That husband is a piece of shit. Who cares if the teenage son was a handful. He still lost his mother and then on top of that his piece of shit step-father refuses to let him get anything of his, anything of his mom's and flat out says that Pistol will never get any of her ashes. That really pisses me off. I hope that there is some kindhearted lawyer out there that sees this and can help Pistol. Not sure what they can do, but that guy needs some kind of justice even if it is just getting something of his mother's to keep.
  14. I tried to watch it yesterday but due to the tropical storm hitting us, our local channels were preempted with weather. I bet that it was fun to watch.
  15. I am in the middle of watching this episode and I just had to come and say that I cannot stand Erica. I have never liked her but her comments about Denise and her kids are way out of line.
  16. Well, at least we know that if a hurricane Teddy hits here, it will be boring AF. On the other hand, a Kyle could really fuck us up. LOL
  17. PREACH! I haven't even watched this episode yet (watching on my lunch hour today) and I am already pissed off.
  18. I just finished watching Season 1 and I agree with you. There is just something about her that doesn't pass the smell test. I have been in an abusive relationship myself and I know that not all situations are the same, but the way that she portrayed Russell and her marriage just didn't feel right. It seemed that she wasn't afraid of him, but was jealous of everyone else' marriage because her's didn't fit the mold. I actually felt for Russell watching his scenes with Kennedy knowing what was to come. He seemed to love his little girl. Now we don't know what actually happened, but to me he just seemed this awkward guy who didn't fit into the Beverly Hills lifestyle and Taylor wanted this glamorous life that he couldn't give.
  19. I just saw a story about how Megan has a new boyfriend. Question, how do you date when you are supposedly quarantining with your 3 kids????
  20. Actually, her husband was going to be allowed but not her doula. That, along with Covid fears is why she choose a home birth. I understand her fears (although I don't really get the doula thing), but her first baby was a big baby and had some birthing difficulties and was born with a broken collar bone I believe. I am not blaming her in anyway ( I cannot imagine what she is going through) and I am so very sad for her, but a home birth would probably never be my choice.
  21. I completely agree with you. And really, whether or not her kids know what she says about her husband, it is her kids, her house, her party. If she doesn't want that kind of talk going on around her kids (and it looked like other kids were there as well), that is her prerogative. I don't see why it was so hard for the other women to understand that. I mean Kyle was talking about threesomes and I am sure that she wouldn't want her kids to hear that. Would everyone feel the same if it was Kyle asking them to stop?
  22. Right. And she told Teddi that she was going to be late, so the "why" shouldn't matter to Kyle at all. Kyle was just pissed that she had to get there early because her and Teddi are besties. If I was Erica I would be pissed that I didn't think ahead like Dorit since she had to get up early to ride with Kyle.
  23. I may be in the minority, but I don't get what was so rude about what Sutten said to Teddi. I mean, Rinna and Kyle started the game and I am sure that it was with the knowledge that some shit was going to get stirred. When Sutten told Teddi that she thought she was going to be boring and then basically that she was going to be boring AND pregnant, honestly, that is something that would have probably come out of my mouth too. She did say that she was wrong and she likes Teddi so I don't get the big deal. As far as the place cards, I got the feeling that even though Sutten sits on the board of several different things, I bet that she still is socially awkward and is uncomfortable around people that she doesn't know well and the place cards are something that would have taken the stress off of her on choosing where to sit. That is my take on it anyway.
