  1. It could air on July 4th and it still needs to be the Halloween episode.
  2. Okay, I've figured out how to retool the show. Get rid of Riggs and Murtaugh. I love them, but they are not working anymore. Avery is running for office, have Trish be his campaign manager, with Leo tagging along because that's what he does best, hire Scorsese as a speechwriter and the B team for security. Also, need to get rid of the writers and hire any looking for work after Fox's stupid comedy cancellations. B99 4 evah!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  3. While an excellent idea, I really don't want Team Arrow anywhere near Gideon or the Legends. They don't deserve Gideon's awesomeness. Okay, Felicity and John do, but that's it. Although the thought of what Gideon would do to Oliver and Rene is quite fun. If she put Gary in the garbage chute, where would she put Rene?
  4. Well, as Wolf said, he (Wolf) was fucking Josh with his own cock. That can't be very reassuring. Also, Josh maybe of the opinion that it is the size of the wave, not the motion of the ocean that makes a good recharge.
  5. You also need to take into account that they - agents, managers, studios, producers - campaign for the awards like it's homecoming. They send a copy of the film with a goodie bag filled with all kinds of expensive things to sway the voters, along with more ads and meet and greets with cast and the director and producers. There is more to winning an Oscar than just a good performance.
  6. Another point to the glaring lack of Stiles - not even Lydia is bringing up mythology. If a look can turn someone to stone, use a mirror.
  7. My understanding is that is was a last ditch attempt by Zeph to keep Johnny from leaving in such a bad state. I'm sure she does love him and D'avin in the friendly platonic way, but she didn't want Johnny leaving not a 100% and went with something she thought might work but realized since it wasn't true she couldn't make it work.
  8. Maybe I'm weird, but my first thought on hearing about Ed was that he was "Brother Bob." Do love the points brought up about Brian's interview not really matching up with the facts that we know about the case because I truly did not catch them at the time.
  9. The Farscape forum still gets hits every once in a while, not often, but occasionally. I love the username and the picture. Bringing it back around to the topic, sorta, if they do make Dutch and Johnny endgame, I hope it's actual endgame. Like last minute of last episode endgame. Unless they do them like Hardison and Parker from Leverage and every body's like, "duh" when they get together and that's it. I do adore Du/J as friends but must agree Hannah and Aaron have rocking chemistry.
  10. How can anyone be prejudice against Muppets? That's just crazy talk. Though I do have a hard time looking at Kermit the same after A Human Reaction. Damn. Now I'm having dreams of Moya's crew showing up at the Royale. Pree, Rygel, and Chiana in the same room? I want that almost as much as I want Thom Allison and John Barrowman in the same room. :-(
  11. I thought he was just referring to non-sexual life partner. While Dutch is the leader of their little trio, they seem to be partners as much as boss and employee. To me at any rate. I also just really like the idea that they can be that important to each and not have it be sexual or romantic. Just because it's unique in fiction, or life, doesn't mean it can't be true.
  12. ^I think that's Z's point. Producer guy knew he was involved in the weapons scheme. As soon as Gregson, Bell, and Sherlock told him they were looking to arrest the child soldier, producer guy should have known that was bs because having two people on the same show involved in the same scheme beggars belief. Yes, Sherlock, Bell, and Gregson were looking for him to plant evidence on child soldier because they made him a reasonable scapegoat, but if producer guy had thought about it for two seconds, he should have realized the lie because again - not knowing they were lying, he still should have questioned it because two people from such completely different backgrounds involved in the same illegal weapons deal and the same TV show is extremely unlikely. Not that that is generally an issue on this show.
  13. I too would have prefered it being Scott who opened the rift, but I can accept the idea that it took the four of them - Sheriff, Scott, Malia, & Lydia - to make it stable enough to get Stiles back. But yeah, they do seem to be sacrificing Scott & Stiles for Stydia. I'm okay with Stydia because I think they've both changed enough at this point that's it's not the Nice Guy waits the Girl out. They care and respect each other enough as people that adding romance to the relationship could work. But my favorite relationships on this show are Stiles&Scott, Stiles&Sheriff, Scott&Melissa and in any combination that shows up. I believe in the parental relationships and the friendship so much I'd watch an entire episode, hell season, of nothing but the four of them, separately, together, whatever, just doing everyday normal things - cleaning the house, paying bills, cooking, watching baseball games, playing video games - and be perfectly content. As for Theo's sacrifice at the end, it started to bug me, but I realized Theo's been getting his heart ripped out by his sister for however long he's been undergound. Okay, she's taking her heart back, but the end result is the same. That has to have some effect on him, so it wasn't just for Liam or the others. That's my take on it anyway.
  14. That's... kind of terrifying. Poor lady.
  15. I wondered if he's married and if he is, how he manages to stay married. And, yeah, I don't really care enough to look it up. He's so completely clueless.
  16. I thought it was John's ring. It looked more like a man's ring to me.
  17. Yeah. my bad. Apologies. I could have sworn Johnny had snooped around there too though.
  18. The snooping was actually from earlier in the season, Wild, Wild Westerly, when Johnny broke into Jelco's office and took, I think it was the plans for the Wall and that's how they found out the Company was planning on putting Walls around all the towns on Westerly.
  19. Tyler Hoechlin cast as Superman on Supergirl Good to see Dylan isn't the only one doing well.
  20. Because how much power will the Catholic Church have once the Second Coming occurs? I'm very much not an end-times Christian, but I get the impression that there will be no churches at all when the rapture occurs. And how embarrassing would it be to be pope or a cardinal and not be taken up?
  21. Linda Hamilton with Beauty and the Beast.
  22. If I'm remembering correctly, Tandy was involved with Lamar's shady dealings. She definitely knew enough to provide evidence. She also heavily invested in Highway 65. If the money Tandy invested is dirty money, the Feds could and would confiscate Highway 65 if they thought it would do them any good, one way or the other. So no. Rayna has not committed any crimes. If her company was created using dirty money, it's up for grabs if the Feds decide to go down that road.
  23. Just wanted to say I loved the scenes with Damien and Adam. It was some really nice, subtle work by both actors. A word of thanksgiving for FINALLY a lack of animal violence. I've decided that show has two problems: pacing. We're about halfway through the first season and nothing's really happened. Damien's found out he's the Anti-Christ. He hasn't embraced it and he hasn't rejected it. He just knows. Yeah, he's coming to terms with it, but he's so isolated, it doesn't feel like anything is happening. Which leads me to the second problem: I don't think the show knows what it wants to be when it grows up. It feels like so many random scenes, that while individually can be good - Damien and Alex, Barbara Hershey, the bestie - don't add up to a whole. What story are they telling? Is it the story of a decent man coming to terms with the fact that he's the Son of Satan and is about to usher in the end of the world as we know it? Or is it the story of a decent man flat out rejecting his fate because free will is a thing and whatever else he is, he's not a soulless monster dedicated to destroying the world? I hope we get some of those answers in the next five episodes.
  24. I find the Robin Wiegart character interesting and Barbara Hershey extremely creepy, but I could do without all the animal violence. I like Bradley James and think he can act, so I'm interested in seeing what he can do with the role, but I think a lot of that is going to depend on the writers. Few actors can make gold out of shit.
