I missed a few Jeopardy! episodes before the ToC, so tonight is my first experience with Laura. *shudder* She does remind me a bit of Bones, though I think her ending sounds are more exaggerated. There were some answers in both the regular and DJ rounds that I was surprised no one could answer.

I haven't been home to watch Jeopardy! lately, and we don't get it on Thursdays because of football :( ). We missed most of tonight but caught FJ--one of the easiest ones I have seen in a while! Talk about an instaget!

I love the comparison of JOSH! to a grown up Brick--it's perfect. I missed Thursday's game because of stupid football, but in a way I am glad. I can't stand his shouting. Someone must have told him during tonight's episode to lower the volume on his voice because in the DJ round, he didn't seem as loud.

Why does Matt keep gong to the middle of categories? There is little point in getting the DD on the first clue! The most he can wager is $1000.

Once again, the contestants irritated me by going for the middle and end clues in the categories. I wasn't home to watch Jeopardy! at the end of last week, so my respite from annoying contestants made them seem even more annoying today. (-:

The only time I like the runaways is when there is a contestant I really want to win, but otherwise, the closer games are much more exciting and fun. And I am not knowledgeable about a lot of relatively current celebrities, but even I knew that Hoffman didn't make it to age 82! The answer didn't fit the category either. Though I have to say that even though there are lots of times I get the right answer while at home, I have to admire anyone who is a contestant, no matter what quirks are exhibited. I know I wouldn't do nearly as well in front of the TV cameras as I do in front of my TV.

I knew the FJ answer because I used to read a bunch of romances in which a good portion of the story took place in the Netherlands. I don't know that I'd have been able to spell it, though!
