  1. My first and only thought for the bee is Tina Turner. Sounded just like her.
  2. I watched this with my teenage daughter and I thought this sketch was right on the mark. I actually said this is very much a workplace situation. If a guy is well liked and non threatening to your job ( Keenan’s character) then everything is okay. Keenan had no power over these women. They knew they could reject him with no repurcussions professionally. Franco’s character was their boss and could potentially fire them if they didn’t respond and therefore he was a threat. Sexual Harrassment is all about power and who has it and who doesn’t. All that being said, if it is inappropriate for one it is inappropriate for all. Society is not there yet, and this sketch showed it perfectly.
  3. Not sure I am coming back to this one. Adriana Lima is terrible. She has absolutely no inflection in her voice. She cannot even banter. Not sure if that is a personality thing or a language barrier thing, but she needs to go. Not sure why the person who won - won. They all FLOVED the one guy who put studs on his models face - but he didn’t win? The person who won, they were like eh? i hope the makeup artist that ruined that one girl realizes what she did. You get one chance on TV and you show that your taste is questionable and you do not work well with others. I loved the cattiness between all the contestants. That was hysterical when all the guys were ticked at who won...
  4. While watching my 16 year old daughter said she wanted her hair to look like Felicia's. I turned my nose up at her
  5. The women outshone the men. Except for Worst Things, I didn't really like Vanessa. I liked to loved Julianne at various times. And I loved Carly Rae. Men were blah....
  6. Vanessa is killing her song. She's not as mean as Stockard's Rozzo, but I loved her version of "Worst Thing I Could Do"
  7. Second time Fox has lost it's sound in a live event in as many weeks. (Packers game first time). Totally unacceptable . This is too close to the movie, down to the costumes. I have seen the movie a million times and seen the Broadway Tour once. Although I prefer the movie, I think it would have been better if this production distanced from the movie a little more. For the most part even the script is the same as the movie. Ugh!
  8. I thought the whole thing with the jump in his arms is to show that Andy is not as awkward as we think - and to parallel Phil. As soon as she jumped, his hands went all over her ass and he went for it. I have never seen that kind of confidence from him. Phil is awkward, but apparently has all the right moves when it comes to Claire.
  9. College visits are super popular. At my kids' high school the Seniors are revisiting their top choices, all the Juniors are scheduling their visits. It doesn't count as an absence from school either. Most kids I know go to at least two, many go to five or six.
  10. Totally agree. And the pop culture references were impeccable.
  11. Did Celeste forget her lyrics? Even if Pharrell was to save her, that should have done her in. Totally unacceptable. She only had like two lines....
  12. Regina should not have done the Adele song. Unless you sing it exactly like Adele and don't "make it your own", it's going to be terrible. And it was. I didn't like Jordan's for the same reason. Some songs you should just leave alone. I agreed with the judges the Bread song was not right for this competition and Braiden.
  13. The drama at the end was completely manufactured. Looking at the scores it wasn't even close. Mikey was at 39.something Mame was at 34.0 Lacey at 33.9 Nile 33.0 And.... Devin 29.1 He wasn't even playing in the same ball game
  14. I thought the actor who played Brandon looked a lot like Jamie Walters, AKA Ray Pruitt. Even so I thought he did a great job getting Priestley down.
