I'm sure it wasn't creative, but I'm not sure that makes the issues more real. Without knowing the issues, and we don't, everything is pure speculation. I'm not comfortable with accepting that someone is a horrible person without having some kind of proof of it. I've read everything I could find and the most damning thing I saw was someone on a Redit forum that said that it was "well known among the employees that he was sexually harassing employees". That could be the truth or it could be a lie told by someone who is jealous or someone repeating rumors. I do see an establishment firing someone over accusations even if he might come back a Top Chef winner. I say that because in today's society the mere whiff of unPC behavior will do far more damage to your business than a TC winner will bring in. What I know is what I'm seeing. I see someone who is helpful, kind, soft spoken, doesn't seem to care about anyone's orientation and has made some terrific food. If it comes out in the future that he's an awful person then we'll have our proof, but people are supposed to be innocent until proven guilty. Kinda like Michael Costello's story that just hit Yahoo today. I didn't like her at first, but she's grown on me. Jamie can't get off my screen fast enough, she's just super annoying to me. The whole performance at Judges Table really made me angry on Maria's behalf. Maria doesn't need your charity Jamie. It was Maria's moment, it was her turn to hear how good she was and how she is totally where she belongs and deserves her spot. It was not time for Jamie to hog all the attention. Even here on the forum it's like more people are talking about how real and wonderful Jamie is, when we should be talking about how wonderful Maria is. Jamie took Maria's moment and turned it into Jamie's moment. Whether she did it on purpose or not, the result is the same.

I don't disagree with this. I just think the timing really sucked for Gabriel. I feel bad for Nelson, but the timing is very unfortunate.

I think it sucks that Gabriel lost because Nelson overcooked his fish, then Nelson quit. If Nelson had quit before the actual challenge Gabriel would still be on the show. The judges thought that his Elk was the best cooked piece of meat in the whole challenge, then he gets kicked off and the person responsible for the problem quits anyway.

Personally I find it handy to know what a judge likes and doesn't. Like if I'm new at a job and someone knows how the boss wants things done, I am not opposed to knowing these things ahead of time. The pepper thing was not him giving directive, at least in my eyes. He agreed that Maria's protein was better, he compromised and let her do everything the way she wanted to. The only thing he asked was for her not to put pepper in the sauce, because she had already peppered the ribs and he was afraid his coffee wouldn't be able to be tasted if the pepper overpowered the flavor. He didn't say she shouldn't do it because it was a bad recipe choice or because she didn't know what she was doing, he simply wanted his flavors to be sure to come through. Maria was the one who who rolled her eyes and snapped that she was going to cook the way she knew was right. It bothered me because I feel like he had a right to have himself represented in the dish also. It was supposed to be their dish, not her dish. The chicken wing? That I'm not sure. The slider sounds like a better food choice to me. However, again while he sounded dismissive it didn't sound like an order to me. Jamie should've just said, "Nope, I already did a wing. I'd like to do a slider, I can make it work!"

I guess I'm looking at it as their food and their component. I feel like they were supposed to compromise and work the flavors together into one dish.

The only reason he asked that she not use the pepper though was because he wanted his flavors to come through. He was concerned that if they didn't do well he would be kicked out because his protein, his recipe or his ideas weren't being used and if his flavors were completely covered up he'd be the one to go. She basically said, "I'm gonna cook my way and too bad if you don't like it." I thought it was a pretty selfish move on her part. He was lucky it was well received.

I personally find Dawn every bit as dismissive as Gabe ,I felt they were good partners. Gabe gave up his idea and his protein, complimented her on her ideas and only was bossy when he talked about the pepper. She got to keep her plan, her recipe, basically her whole idea and then dismissed his advice. To me that doesn't paint him in a bad light. Count me in the camp that 100 percent believes that the producers gave the judges the orders they were supposed to ask for. I like Blais though, I always have. He makes me laugh and I think that he creates some really interesting food. It seems like a good group this season.

I was so upset when they announced the person going home I yelled a swear word and shut my TV off. I came here fully expecting Christian to have saved her. I do feel that Victoria should have been auffed for her horrible design and attitude. From what I've read about Victoria, her husband is a professional soccer player and he bankrolled her store. I've heard numerous reports of her selling 200 hundred dresses in the first day, but I haven't heard much about her selling much after that. I have a feeling she is very used to getting whatever she wants and isn't told "no" very often. I think Brittany and Devlin are funny. The way I took what they were saying watching the judges was that they were praying it was Nancy and not Sergio. I liked Nancy's better than Sergio's, but I hated Marquese's. I felt Geoffery or Devlin should have been in the top instead.

Isn't this true of most people? If you have to explain your look, it's probably not done well. Take Billy Porter's Oscar look that CS designed, there were no explanations needed. I also want to point out that quite often rich ladies who lunch are the ones that have the time to organize many benefits and charity events. To think that they are all vapid and unfeeling is a generalization that bears rethinking.

Stillettos or pumps with lace socks or lace pantyhose was just about everyone. 80's was New Wave and bright colors. There was a whole fashion with dropped waistlines, short skirts and matching bloomer like panties underneath. There was the whole torn sweatshirt thing ,and hanging off one shoulder sweaters with stirrup pants. There was so very much they could have done with 80's. Loved Geoffery's and Shavi's.

I rewatched the part on the water and I really didn't notice any "asshole Foreigner" behavior from any team. They had difficulty with the boats, but the race set this up, not the individuals that were racing. I felt like the teams all did their level best to be polite and handle the boats to the best of their ability. I was also impressed the way Tyler and Korey responded to the Dutch guy, no challenge, no return anger, not even a taste of snottiness.

In my mind they were different because Ron went right up to Devens and handed him the Idol, looking him in the eyes and pretending it was real. He used it to confuse Devens and make him think they were working together. It was completely fair for Ron to do it, but it's not the same thing as just hiding a fake Idol and letting whoever find it. Both are fair game play, but I don't think it's the same thing.

LOL, You're totally right. I just meant that it doesn't seem to be strategic or have any suspense to it.

Throwing out a name and agreeing is hardly interesting TV, at least to me. It seems like that's all we see these three do. Suggesting someone else in case of a tie vote isn't groundbreaking either. I just don't see any real game play from any of those people. Being on the right side of the vote constantly sometimes means you're a hell of a player, and sometimes it just means you're just going along with the crowd. All they do is decide who to vote out, if it can't be Rick. I don't see any excitement or fun in the way they're playing. I guess it's a personal choice, I just don't care for the quiet strategizing.

I can't be mad at Tessa for stating, "We love you, but we didn't love your look." when the others came at her the day before saying, "How was your outfit elegant? We don't understand why you weren't on the bottom." I think she felt like if they could be that straightforward with her, then she could be that straightforward with them. I agree with Tessa, I hated Hester's look. I thought it was worse that the one that went home. I actually picked the winning team, as the losing team. The safe team would have been my choice as the winning team. I liked all 3 looks and thought Sebastian's was perfection.

Devens was on on EOE for what... a day before he got back in? I don't think it was a major bonding experience. He's also been on the wrong side of the vote every time because people are trying to get him out. No one wants to go to final with Rick, would you? I will say that yes, he has an over the top personality, but (sigh) so do I. Many people find people like us obnoxious and phony, but it's just who we are. We're excited about everything and we tend to talk about it in a loud excited voice. We can't always, "tone it down." anymore than shy quiet people can get excited and be loud at someone's suggestion. No one has to like people like us, but to keep saying that he should stop being himself isn't going to cut it, that's who he is. I like him this way. I'd rather see someone thrilled with his experience, then someone grouchy and mean spirited. (cough, Reem, Cough) Aurora lost me as a fan completely when she wasn't embarrassed about being caught going through someone elses property. Victoria, to me, is the most boring person ever. Has she ever done anything or made any kind of move since she's been there? She just sits and does whatever someone tells her to do.

As a pretty curvy girl myself I actually hate having clothes that cling to my body and worse than clingy, are things that hit me at the waist. Not every curvy woman wants her curves pointed out to the rest of the world. I just wish the judges would cut the designers some slack on this. A baby doll dress with pockets, styled correctly would be lambasted on the runway as a horrible example of how not to dress a curvy woman, yet many curvy women would be so much happier in that style. Just like women who are not curvy, curvy women all have different tastes and preferences, and that should be respected on the runway also.

Shawn seems to have more ideas, but has no clue how to execute anything. Claire can sew, but has no ideas. They're basically one designer, but 2 people. That was some fugly crap they sent down the Runway. I loved the green bean tunic Margarita was wearing in the workroom. Would love to find it, I'd buy it in a heartbeat. Her dress, while really cute, is one of those dresses that many can't wear. Anything that cuts in around the waist won't work for many. I would have jumped online and bought all pieces of Brendan's. Hopefully both twins exit next week.

Awww... I loved the Brunch truck. I'll miss Mikey. Don't really care about the last two.
