  1. So, let me get this right, Jill found out Jim Bob claimed, on her taxes , that Jill received money that she never got. Jill confronted him about it. Jim Bob then sent Jill an itemized bill for her "expenses". He than said she was going to inherit 1/19th of his inheritance one day but than he said something like, "if you cause trouble that amount will change.

    1/19th

So I guess Josh's trouble is not as bad as Jill's

This is sort of a sidenote, but I read Prince Harry's book, and while I'd certainly agree that he aired out quite a bit of dirty laundry there, he also didn't present himself as the innocent victim/hero. He admitted to a number of major screwups and took responsibility for a number of things. And it's very clear in the book that he could have said many more things about various family members but chose not to. The entire book reads much less as someone trying to air dirty laundry/family secrets/get revenge, and much more as someone examining his life, and coming to the slow, mature realization that he is part of a toxic, white supremacist, colonialist culture causing major harm, not just to himself but to others.

I haven't seen much of this same thing from Derick. From Jill, yes, and to a limited extent from Jinger. But not from Derick. And that's leaving aside Derick's history of attacking people who have done absolutely nothing to him - and failing to apologize for any of that. Or challenging any of his inner beliefs.

But that said, both Harry and Derick did try to resolve things quietly and privately. And it's not just that the quiet, private method didn't work - but that it meant that the challenges to the authority systems here (the Windsors, Jim Bob) were coming largely from outsiders - instead of the more effective insiders.

Just wanted to say I agree with your assessment of Harry's book which i have also read

I buy all my books on ThriftBooks.com now.

And yesterday? We went to the Book Swap at the Senior Center. Everyone in town donates books and CD's and DVD's and greeting cards. Then they throw open the doors on a Saturday morning and you can just go and fill bag after bag for FREE. We found some real treasures.

Mine are all on my Kindle because they are easy to travel with.

I do! I have a goal of a book a week and write them all down to keep track. At the end of the year I count up and see how I did. I usually manage about 55-60. Right now I'm reading Ronan Farrow's "Catch and Kill". So far so good. He's a good writer.

I read 64 books last year. I am trying for 72 this year.

Yes, but Jenny's visa was for 10 years, and she had to leave the country for a few days every certain interval, and then could reenter India.   Either Jen applied for the wrong visa, or they changed the Visa system.   Or it's a storyline.

He said it was a tourist Visa. A i smell a rat.

I think we all know the answer to that.

The thing is, it can be both. My husband has chronic pain and he needs pain meds to function. If he is late or runs out he goes through withdrawal. His pain is genuine, but he has been on pain meds for so long that he has a physical dependency. Its not an addiction, which has an added mental component.

And people can legit DIE a if they stop opioids suddenly. They have to taper off. You can have a heart attack if you stop  suddenly. I wont even tell you what it was like for my husband right after his open heart surgery when they gave him pain meds that  you would give to someone who has NOT been on opioids for 15 years.

So she may have pain and a dependency, or pain and an addiction. Or, she doesn't have pain now but is left with addiction. Frankly , it's a sad state to be in especially of it started with legit pain
