Sperm donor REALLY thinks highly of himself. Concocting the point system like he’s a sex god. Ugh. He thinks he’s so cute and smart, when really he comes across as a balding dunce. Did Shawn say he was 60 something? I rewound my DVR severs, times but couldn’t really tell what he said.

I’m glad Joy self-eliminated. This wasn’t for her, and if she hadn’t brought anyone home to her family except one true love, well I get it. I’m a little surprised that she realized it, and that’s because I judged her. I think she has huge cultural expectations from her family, and this farmer wasn’t it.

At this point I’m all in for Venus for the win. Or Hunter. I liked Q at first but then he….kind of went crazy and became a dictator in his own mind. Hunger? Ego? Delusion? Then again I can’t imagine not eating for 16 days, so there’s that.

When someone shows you who they are, believe them. Emily is mean and childish. Disrespectful.

I’m no Natalie fan, but that was flat out cruel. Inexcusable. I really felt for her.

It was just so….icky (heh see what I did there) seeing Dannielle sitting on the bed between Ick and the new girl, touching his face and being in their way. Giant major cringe.

There were a lot of what I call sad-sack songs, too many IMHO. It got hard to listen to. The gospel type singers had amazing voices and charisma (I got goosebumps) but not for Idol. I’m a fan of Mia, Kayko, Triston, Jack, and Will.

No comments on tonight’s show, but the farmer falling for Joy. Ugh. She’s vacuous and he’s not thinking with the head on his shoulders.

Ashley just can’t see beyond her own nose. She can’t fathom not telling the deeply Catholic family that’s she’s a witch. I hope this is just for the show and she’s really not that self-centered.

Not sure why Dannielle is so afraid of Garrick. Natalia has sense.

I have a question re:Loretta Lynn’s granddaughter. She grew up getting on stage with Loretta. Seems to me it was portrayed as a good thing at first, but now I’m feeling like it wasn’t a good thing. Did I miss something?

So…at decision day, Chloe was saying that the animal sanctuary and all the foster kids were a “me” thing and not a “we” thing. Yet it sure looked like she was ready to jump into it all immediately when looking at that rental house. Then the snip of Michael saying one foster kid doesn’t scare him, but 5 foster children does. I think she was full steam ahead (or the producers made her seem so) and then maybe we weren’t shown where she backpedaled on that? Also, I don’t think Emily got a “good edit” or a “bad edit”. She’s a mean girl and very immature, it showed who she truly is.

I really like all the teams, there’s no “come on dad” this season yet, thank goodness. I’d have had a hard time with the mom too, what made her so slow? The twins, they crack me up. I can’t believe everyone climbed all those stairs then went on to do everything else. I would have been dead. ETA I can’t do heights, and I totally felt for Sean. It’s not just a hill, it’s a drop off. I couldn’t have done that either.

Jen? The one who disinterestedly said “oh cute” about the drone show? Why on God’s green earth would they pick her?

Bhanu comes cross as a simpleton. How did he make it as far as being chosen? Producer shenanigans

Delana and her moaning and huffing seemed so fake, like “feel sorry for meeee!!!!”

Tonight was weird. A few teams way ahead with most behind, trying to find the bridge.

I turned it off for viewing at a later time. SO boring. It’s time for this season to be done.

He is like “oh, I should be doing this because I’m in my 30s” but his tone says he lovvvvves being “taken care of” and dependent. And his mom, “as a parent there’s no guidebook for this”….uh, ask Dr Now, I am sure he has some suggestions. Ugh. So unlikeable.

I don’t like that arrogant girl on Gordon’s team, the one who won best dish. She’s been his favorite I think.

I’m over it. The purple tribe lost again. The entire show has been focused on them since their first loss. Just showing them over and over again. I can’t take it, I deleted after they lost again. Same song, same verse. I can’t root for any of them, they are all so unlikeable. Show, let us know some of the others besides Venus.

Becca reminds me so much of my ex daughter in law, who spoke therapy speak anywhere and everywhere. “Protecting” “feel safe” “not centered” “walls up” “trauma” “toxic” “silenced”. And on and on. And the “like”. The Rise of Therapy-Speak great article. I don’t like Emily because she’s every mean girl who teased me in school. She gets that snotty smirk on and it just sends me. And the group of mean girls piling on the therapy speak at the get together. Ugh! I finally figured out who Chloe reminds me of….the lead actress on Schmigadoon! (I love Schmigadoon). Chloe must have a musical theater past, she also reminds me of my musical theater friends.

This was a strange episode to me. Sure, she lost some weight. But so many months and she still doesn’t look smaller or have better mobility. It seems like it’s all sweet and happy towards her, but I don’t see it. Is this the new kinder softer Dr Now?
