  1. I was disappointed that we didn't get more updates from Chelsea and Jimmy. Is it just me or is anyone else confused if they are now together or not? There were moments when their exchanges communicated a lot of respect and care for each other and other moments where you could see there were deep wounds. Jimmy just looked so sad throughout most of the show.
  2. Haven't read all the comments so not sure if someone else already made this comparison but Rocksroy reminds me so much of the actor Forest Whitaker with his looks, mannerisms and voice.
  3. Throughout the series, I noticed some art references. I just found this article that highlights them. It adds another layer to the meaning and symbolism of the show. For example, I totally missed the Scream reference but now I can't unsee it! https://california18.com/5-artistic-references-in-squid-game-on-netflix-that-you-may-not-have-spotted/785442021/
  4. Yes, of course. Based on the amount of time we saw Nick and Vanessa during the show, I'm sure hosting wouldn't replace Cameron's day job.
  5. If they really want to give the people what they want, make Lauren and Cameron the hosts!
  6. I'm sure I'm not the first to comment on this but geesh, clearly Toby has learned nothing from the choking incident. I cringed during that whole scene when Toby has Jack on his lap after returning from the doctor. He's sitting in front of a table full of casually laid out legit hazardous choking objects! The toy Star Wars figurines and small marble (?) tiles are all potentially lethal for that baby - I mean, seriously writers??! You would think a parent would be hyper vigilant after going through that choking trauma - not go home and hand their baby an R2D2 mini figure that is the perfect size to get stuck in their windpipe.
  7. I noticed that Wardog was barely given any airtime in these Ponderosa videos. All we really heard from him was when he told Joe he thought he was arrogant. I wonder if there is a reason why Wardog was barely featured except for the not so positive exchange with Joe. Did he piss off the producers? Was he simply checked out and disinterested? Sore loser? Curious.
  8. I have been binging on this season and am finally caught up. In this episode, it finally hit me that Lela looks just like Ivanka Trump with brown hair! It's creepy and makes me really uncomfortable now each time she's on screen. I wonder if it was an active choice on her part to make her face look like Ivanka's. I really loved Sebastian's orchid dress and would have put that in the top 3 instead of Venny's dress. Maybe it's all in the eye of the beholder but I did not get the huge praise for Jamall's dress. It looked like a bolt of fabric that had come undone. The top half was attractive enough but the bottom half looked unfinished. But I'm happy for him that he loosed up and had an awakening. I guess the judges wanted to validate him.
  9. Perhaps it's already been mentioned but when young Kevin was flirting with the nurse at the hospital, I had to do a double take because I thought the nurse was present day Sophie. Nice clever casting, show!
  10. Just like Kate ultimately contributed to her father's death.
  11. That would be great. Did you see the series finale to Six Feet Under? That was hands down the best one I've ever seen. The flash forwards for the main characters were really effective and as sad as I was for the series to end, the finale gave me closure. OITNB gave us so many flashbacks, it's only fair that they come full circle with flash forwards.
  12. After the first episode, I was afraid this was going to be a Suzanne-centric season. I respect the actress who plays Suzanne but I don't think I'll ever forgive her character for the role she played in Poussey's death. I was relieved that she wasn't a main player this season and appreciated that they seemed to soften her a bit. I hope the 7th season is the final one and that they can give us some closure with the main characters from the early seasons. Will Flaca and Martiza ever see each other again? Who will be able to live a functional life outside of prison? Who will be forever wrecked from this experience? This season made me really care about Blanca so I hope this is not the last time we see her. I'm not sure how her story could get a happy ending, but I still want to know what happens to her and to Diablo.
  13. It was pretty heartbreaking when Red chose to attempt to strangle Frieda instead of see her grandchildren at visitation.
  14. I really like the actor so I'm hoping they find a way to make Alex more interesting. I was disappointed that Zane turned down his offer to play golf since it seemed like a good opportunity to reveal more about Alex to the audience.
  15. I kept thinking that the autopsy would show that Piscatella's bullet wounds were caused by two different types of guns. Didn't those armed guards shoot him originally with assault rifles? I don't know much about guns but I'd think that the wounds on his body would reveal that.
