It was a little awkward to hear Dave refer pejoratively to Succession (Suc-sesh-in!) as more of a "Showtime Show" in front of Diablo Cody, who created the United States of Tara...for Showtime.
I haven't seen much of Altered Carbon yet, but I thought Joel Kinnaman was the best part of The Killing, though that may be just because Linden was such a sad-sack drip in her one ugly gargantuan sweater. Dave's right about his movie career, though. Woof.
I can only hope that the ending clip indicates that Joe is returning full time (I love you too, Sarah!). His twitter seems to indicate this too! AAAAAAAAAH!
Oh, Enlisted, you were too good for this world. I have a suspicion that the show was sacrificed to keep The Mindy Project on air, the only way they could afford EVERY GUEST STAR.
My guess for the phrase that pays is "Not to be a misandrist, but..."
Justified keeps pretending like Wynn Duffy is going to be important to the plot before ignoring him in favor of some other shlub - poor guy is basically Charlie Brown trying to kick Lucy's football at this point, dramatically (dramatergically?) speaking. I hope Wynn's crucial to the endgame of Justified next season, because Jere Burns almost had more to do on Breaking Bad at this point.
