Cute pic…. With Jessa I always wonder if they were posed or coached… hopefully it’s genuine ❤️

Looks coached to me. They have their arms around each other AND they are both holding the other’s hand. I could buy maybe one of the boys doing that spontaneously.

But both translates to cool poses that Jessa found…maybe someone’s Pride post got reinterpreted.

Jessa doesn't do dishes either? All she apparently appears to do is indoctrinate the boys and nurse Ivy. Oh, and cut hair. Badly.

That onesie feels mean. She has “DANCE” on her bum and “DREAM” or “DREAMER”. Is she allowed to do any of those things? Jessa should buy onesies that have words that are appropriate to her upbringing like REPRESS and FEAR.

Looks like her show is gonna be back on soon.  The only other people I recognize from this are Colt and Larissa from 90 Day Fiance.

She got the name of her show wrong in the hashtag. Did she leave out “Fat” on purpose or has she read so many compliments about weight loss that she thinks it doesn’t apply to her anymore? Regardless, it’s a hashtag fail.

  4. I love almost all of the Cabot Cove episodes and Cabot Cove adjacent episodes (A Lady in the Lake in the 2nd season wasn’t actually set in CC but had Amos and Seth in it).

All time favorites for comfort viewing are If It’s Thursday, It Must Be Beverly from season 4 (so many naughty jokes!) and Keep the Home Fries Burning from season 2. Favorite non-CC episode is Curse of the Danaav from season 4.

My Jonny Lies Over the Ocean is a great one for the silliness. I have a gif of Jessica flirting with Ramon saved on my phone waiting for the right opportunity

I really wish the show was streaming somewhere. I’d buy a subscription just for that.

  5. I agree that all signs point to her having fallen off the boat. This wasn’t a gripping story to watch. If she had last been seen with crew members (not counting iffy 5am sightings) or if there had been a pattern of young women disappearing from cruise ships near that island, then there might be a case for abduction.

Also the brother was suspicious of the crew member who “knew” before an announcement over the loudspeaker. I’m assuming that the crew would have been told well before they alerted the guests of a problem. Felt like grasping at straws.

There was a commercial (I think for Xfinity) that ran before and during the Olympics featuring athletes training for their various events. In the background a woman was singing "Dream a Little Dream of Me" as though in an opium-inducted stupor. The athletes were basically being treated as cyborgs. I'm not sure if I'm supposed to be sympathetic or awe-struck when I see that ad.

That commercial is terrifying to me. It looks like the athletes are attached to the machines and can’t leave. I think we’re supposed to be in awe of their dedication, but I don’t see it.

That Match asshole is back. The worst one IMO is the guy who didn’t “make the conversion” with a woman he was interested in. Newsflash, assface. She has agency and gets to make decisions too. You were friend zoned. Deal with it.

  7. Yes to everything you wrote, lizzbert!

The Cabot Cove episodes are the best. I really wish they had done episodes set in a neighboring town like Morgan Bay to keep some of the core characters involved. I loved  Lady in the Lake from the 2nd season.

Jessica definitely got lots of offers (so many frisky older men on this and Golden Girls!). I don’t remember her being tempted by any of them...

I have found that on many types of crime shows, a biggie with just about everyone seems to be how a killer treats the body afterwards.  How many times do we hear about how horrified the person is that the victim was thrown away like trash or the body was dismembered.  It's talked about a lot.   It's like the way they handled the body is worse than the murder.  I don't get it. It's the murder that is horrific. That's what they should focus on.

I agree but I think, for families, having all of the person to bury is part of their grieving process. It has to be unsettling to wonder where your dad’s arm is and dreading the idea that it could be found at any time and bring the whole thing right back up again.

As a viewer, hearing about dismemberment helps me make up my mind when the motive or evidence is weak. Snapped has had a few cases like that.

Bella seems cool, but she keeps thinking there's something defective about being 37 and single. I'll admit, Shep has issues, but dating sucks and being single in your 30s isn't a sign of some serious character flaw. But I think she's too young to know that now. When you're in your 20s you have a plan and assume life's just going to work out that way.

Agreed. If Shep was actively pursuing relationships and still very single, then your mom might ask what’s wrong with him. But it’s Shep. He makes no effort (his whole appearance) and has sex when it’s offered from young women in temporary and physical terms.

I do love seeing how little game Shep actually has!

If her belly hangs down in a apron-like fashion, which would not be surprising in her case, she may use elasticized undergarments to hold it up and in, for both comfort and appearance.

I hadn’t thought of that. That would be a good reason for supportive undergarments.

Whit seems in such denial that her body can be uncomfortable, which is true of bodies at any size.

The wedding was Friday evening. Jessa went on the warpath earlier today (still Saturday here).

    Gotcha. Thanks for the correction.

My general point stands. Taking the time to ban followers based on who they follow is excessive and ridiculous. When you are so public, you will be criticized and mocked. I bet being mocked bothers Jessa more.

eta: @Lunera I think we followed the same snark site, because all of a sudden she blocked me as well, and I'd never commented on her page. I learned about her the hard way when I DID comment on her page during Kissgate when she should have been fucking her husband's brains out 3 days after the wedding.

Didn't Joe and Kendra get married today? So is the marathon after party at the TTH only for the Duggar girl weddings? If not and being bitchy on social media is how she's choosing to spend that time, then big FAIL.

I know she can't have wine or dance with her family. Good food isn't really an option either.  Maybe she could trying talking to that sister she keeps posting in her pictures.

Could she be more of an asshole about this flight attendant (FA- not a real abbreviation but using it for clarity's sake)? Whitney goes out of her way to be obnoxious. "She handed it to me discreetly (they always do)" The FA wasn't being discreet because she was trying to shame you, Whitney! FA are trained to meet people's requests discreetly. What would happen if a FA laughed or drew attention to someone asking for a seatbelt extender? Bad pr, problems on the flight, possibly a lawsuit. Who hasn't read a story online about a passenger who felt wronged by an airline employee and took their grievance public?

One more thing, Whitney, I'm certain that the FA knows what season it is. Don't act like you're better than a FA. More than likely she also graduated from college. Even if she didn't, she has the discipline to keep a job that includes early morning hours.

  14. There is such a big divide between how she really feels and thinks and how she projects how she feels and thinks. She knows for her no BS message she has to love her body and especially its appearance no matter what.

She ignores her limitations or uses them as signs of devotion (her friend who puts her shoes on). It must feel dangerous to the people around her to talk about health. Most likely you'd get a lecture or tears. I wouldn't put it past her to use her social media "fans" as a backup/threat. "Maybe we should ask my followers what they think about these portion containers."

  15. Anyone with a large social media following can apply to be a speaker! They have a place for applications for speakers right below the one for sponsors.

That explains how Whit is speaking at a fashion event. Her picture really stands out- in a not-great way- among the other speakers.

  16. Maybe Nick timed announcing his breakup to be considered again once he saw how weak the field was.  Hee! He could be a back to back Bachelor.

I really don't think that, but it cracks me up to picture Nick working the phones to create buzz about him returning to the show.

  17. I'm sure that Michelle and Gilda have been on a helicopter before so not as big of a loss as it would be for a non-HW.

I love that Michelle stated that she was moving forward for her own well-being and specifically said she wasn't forgiving anything. Julia deserves to know she went way past "saying something stupid".

That reminds me; why is the "we drink it" Snot STILL shilling for that company?  She is a very negative spokesman; who likes a stuck-up snob mocking what everyone else in the country does?  FGS, it is just APPLE JUICE.  Not the Nectar of the Gods.

    Big time.

Another asshole spokesperson is the Bada Book hotel guy. He's so smug and dismissive of his coworkers. I seriously do not understand why anyone thought a white guy with a Mad Men haircut in a suit being an SOB is a good look to represent a company. In my strong opinion, of course!
