  1. I was amused by the looks Steve and Danny shared when the one woman said "there weren't any parents here" and the other said "old, like 40." I'm not sure Steve is ready to be considered approaching "old" anyone.
  2. I realize that realism isn't always this show's strong suit, but I'm not excited about any surprises about either Charles or Grace's paternity. Given the way family law works in the US, both Charles and Grace are old enough that established relationship trump biology. If the idea is to explore the complications of Danny being a single dad to two children (one fairly young), the wouldn't need paternity drama. If something happened to Rachel and Stan, Danny would raise Charles because he's Grace's brother. I'm not even the biggest Danny fan, but that would extremely consistent with his character. I'm a McRollins fan and I want some resolution. Either end things or figure something out. They could have Catherine go back to the Navy and work in the occasional reference to them talking/emailing and taking time to spend leave together. We wouldn't even have to see it. I just don't like the limbo.
  3. I enjoyed this episode if I didn't think about it. But even by H50 standards it just didn't hold up to logic. International relations doesn't work that way. Criminal justice doesn't work that way. Killing the IA officer wouldn't be enough to end a case because there are records. Also, why was Grace not at Rachel's? She wouldn't be hanging out at Danny' s by herself. Hopefully this plot line will be wrapped up. I did love the Steve/Grace scenes.
  4. I really want the Shelburn story line to die. I don't find it compelling. I'll reserve judgement on Amber. I am glad they acknowledged the age difference. That seemed realistic. I think Steve was on to something about Grace and Amber. I don't think Danny should introduce Grace to every woman he dates, but she's not a small child. Although, I can't even imagine walking in on a scene like that at 11 or 12. But then my parents are still married to each other. I had a hard time buying the running out of air issue. That was a pretty big space. And the first aid was nuts. As was Danny being practically fine. But I can over look some things. The Steve/Catherine hug made my little shipper heart melt a bit. Overall, I thought it was a strong episode.
  5. I'm a late comer to this show. I'm really disappointed to see that Catherine is leaving. While she wasn't that well used this season, I liked her and I liked her with McG.
