  1. Whoa. She used to be so pretty! Now she’s plasticky with a sour puss face.
  2. Macarena was twenty years ago? Ugh, I feel so old now!
  3. How much weight has Jenelle gained? I know she’s short so 10 lbs on her is going to look like a lot more than 10 lbs on someone who’s 6 feet... Not meaning to fat shame, just curious because it seems like she’s gained a lot in a short amount of time. Every time I see a picture of her I do a double take because she looks SO different!
  4. Came out of lurkdom to say that I’m a big true crime fan, and I’ve seen that a clue to investigators that it’s a staged robbery is when the dresser drawers are pulled out and look like steps on a staircase... He’s so transparent. 🙄
  5. Didn’t see if who else was on the list has been discussed yet- Personally I’m surprised to not see Chris Watts or Josh Powell. But if you appear on any list with Ariel Castro, YOU ARE DOING SOMETHING MAJORLY WRONG.
  6. Only you guys can understand why I was so excited to take this picture on our way back from Myrtle Beach! I didn’t catch the Horry County sign, but I did tell my husband about how J and D are infamous in the three surrounding counties 😂
  7. NCGS § 7B-1103. Who may file a petition or motion. (a) A petition or motion to terminate the parental rights of either or both parents to his, her, or their minor juvenile may only be filed by one or more of the following: (1) Either parent seeking termination of the right of the other parent. (2) Any person who has been judicially appointed as the guardian of the person of the juvenile. (3) Any county department of social services, consolidated county human services agency, or licensed child-placing agency to whom custody of the juvenile has been given by a court of competent jurisdiction. (4) Any county department of social services, consolidated county human services agency, or licensed child-placing agency to which the juvenile has been surrendered for adoption by one of the parents or by the guardian of the person of the juvenile, pursuant to G.S. 48-3-701. (5) Any person with whom the juvenile has resided for a continuous period of two years or more next preceding the filing of the petition or motion. (6) Any guardian ad litem appointed to represent the minor juvenile pursuant to G.S. 7B-601 who has not been relieved of this responsibility. (7) Any person who has filed a petition for adoption pursuant to Chapter 48 of the General Statutes. (b) Any person or agency that may file a petition under subsection (a) of this section may intervene in a pending abuse, neglect, or dependency proceeding for the purpose of filing a motion to terminate parental rights. — I live in NC and am going through the process myself. It’s neither here or there though because I don’t see that happening with J and D.
  8. These pictures make me smile! It’s a fresh breath seeing the focus ON THE KIDS instead of having J or D’s ugly faces and their “our family is perfect!” captions. Ensley’s skirt is cute and something my daughters would wear. Just seeing her properly dressed and doing normal kid things is so endearing. Go you, Barb. You are a superhero for taking care of three kids day in and day out by yourself! I can hardly manage and that’s with my husband and in laws! These pictures give me hope for the kids, and I look forward to seeing more.
  9. It’s next to impossible to get your parental rights terminated. The court sees it as a constitutional right, so deadbeat parents hardly have to lift a finger to maintain theirs 🙄 The only way I can think of for Jenelle to be completely severed from Kaiser would be if Nathan got married, and the stepmother could adopt Kaiser with Jenelle’s consent after Nathan and the stepmom have been married for at least two years. That would be the easiest way and would be a dream come true for Kaiser. The state wouldn’t just cancel Jenelle’s rights- they want to see someone else willing to step in, partly because they don’t want the child to end up on government assistance. However, even if Nathan’s new wife motioned for a stepparent adoption, if Jenelle does NOT consent, then the state holds a high standard that must be met - abandonment, neglect, abuse, etc. Regarding income withholding, if Jenelle ever got a job, the state can only take a small percentage of each paycheck- like 20-30%. And that’s just for the first kid. Every subsequent child gets a smaller percentage. If Jenelle owes any money to the state, then that gets taken first before child support. I wish Jenelle and David would do all the kids a favor and consent to stepparent adoptions. Kids need consistency and dependability. The swamp things need to just stay away completely and forever instead of going in and out of their lives on a whim.
  10. Their business meeting is with their medical marijuana supplier! Hi @kicksave- I grew up in Arlington!
  11. How heartbreaking to be so easily and recklessly tossed aside by your “father.” Others have already voiced some of my thoughts. It did occur to me that what if David and Jenelle KNOW that there’s no chance in them getting M and J “back” so to save face, they’re rejecting them before anyone (M, J, their GALs, the judge) gets a chance to reject them (D and J). They just want to have the last word.
  12. Barbara can never do anything right in some people’s eyes. Many times the same people that hold such a high standard for Barbara are the same ones who give Jenelle slack time and time again. You do you Babs. I myself was overjoyed and relieved to see that baby finally having fun, even with some sparkle in her usually dull eyes.
  13. Saw the Ashley’s article and came straight here. I am beyond thrilled to hear this! FINALLY someone put their foot down and told these petulant swamp things “No!” Good on that judge for calling Jenelle out on not being a good mother and protecting her children!
  14. Hello all, long time lurker, first time poster just to say this: I am in Charlotte and we are all bracing for Florence, praying everyone makes it through safely...but I'm giddy whenever the news stations talk about Wilimington because I envision Jenelle and David up to their necks in nasty swamp water on The Land. Sans kids of course. Natural selection at its finest. #sorrynotsorry
  15. Coming out of lurkdom to mention one thing that I don't think has been addressed yet- During Javi and Kail's talk (oh yes, did I want to smack that smirk off Javi's labia lips!), Javi was like, "So what are you gonna do- quit?" Kail got into such a huff and kicked him out after that. I think she was trying to cover up and keep from truly answering! As Javi was leaving, he said, "You're not going to quit." I was laughing out loud so hard because as annoying as Javi is, at least he has his number on Kail! Kail likes to act high, mighty and proper, but she isn't anything without MTV. She's not going anywhere until MTV tells her to kick rocks. Even then she'll be on her knees begging!
