  1. 3 pages of great discussion...but not a mention of the most important thing from the episode... A gorgeous '72 green Chevy Blazer that needs to be in my driveway...like...yesterday.
  2. I re-watched the opening scene 3 times. Pay attention to the framing from the point when Gene is eating his lunch to when he yells at the kid to talk to a lawyer. Impeccable stuff. All that and Nancy Sinatra to boot. Great start.
  3. Love the music choices so far...although they're off a few years on some of the tunes (New Order's "Elegia" instrumental that played during the memorial service is from '85). But hey...that's the music nerd in me. Haven't had this much fun watching a show in some time.

Hey...we got to see Dee Dee and Joey.
  5. I'm too big of a music nerd to not watch this show...but damn what a mess. That said...loved hearing Big Star. Just hope they didn't scratch the record!
  6. I love it all brother. Pretty sure Cameron was listening to Red Lorry Yellow Lorry on her Walkman early in the episode. I'll continue with this show solely for the music.
  7. Ha ha...same here. Reminded me of our college road trips from Norman down to Deep Ellum/Starck Club. And hats off to the music director...they're nailing it. Caught Vicious Pink "Cccan't You See?" mixed into Book of Love's "Boy" at the club scene. So very mid-80s.
