  1. Hi Everyone -- haven't been around in a while, crazy life, but I had to hop on here to talk the latest Paula Zahn episode, and wouldn't ya know she's the topic of the last couple of comments here. I don't hate her, but I don't think her show is as interesting as some, I basically put it on to have something to sort of watch while I clean. However, on Sunday's episode, Mystery in Indio, them talking about the husband caught my attention, they were making him out to be such a bad guy, drug addict, moocher, etc. Then they said he had died before the case was solved, so, out of curiosity, I did a quick google to see if I could find his obit. Wow, the disconnect of how he was portrayed on the show, and his actual life and accomplishments as detailed in his obit are not even close. I mean, he may have at one time been a drug addict (or not), but they left a hell of a lot out of his bio. He may even have been her killer, but I think if I were his family I'd sue the show for defamation. I can't believe they were allowed to portray him as strictly evil without anyone giving the other side. Here's the obit if you're interested: https://obituaries.desertsun.com/obituaries/thedesertsun/obituary.aspx?n=william-i-hillman-bill&pid=173292325
  2. Did anyone watch the Chris Watts special on HLN? I taped it and just sort of listened to it this morning. Glanced up at the very end and noticed that two of the producers were David Pecker and a Kushner. Ugh.
  3. I know, that denial of things they are taped saying is crazy. "That's not me." Um, yeah, it is. Wow.
  4. Thank you, Poster Bratinella.
  5. Just watched Murder in Manor (DVR'd it last night). Can't finish it, it's got the stupidest construct I've ever seen: Victim Bill. Model Jennifer. Boyfriend Jason. Bartender Julie Survivor Jim (or whatever). Puleeeezze.
  6. I completely agree on Total Recall. The stories are new, but he's not very interesting.
  7. Her mom should have been thrown in jail too, for letting it go on so long.
  8. I posted this a few pages back after watching that episode: "The Killer Beside Me episode where Brian Cooper killed his co-worker, Alisha Bromfield made absolutely no sense to me. Why would she would skip a good friend's wedding to attend a wedding 400 miles away with an abusive supervisor -- just to keep a job at Home Depot?? I figured there had to be more to the story and there was. While she apparently complained to management about him (according to her mom), she also kept seeing him (and they dated for a while) and going to his home to pet sit his cat, and she voluntarily attended the wedding. This was a tragedy, no doubt, especially since she was pregnant, but that was just a really dumb decision. And the first trial ended in a hung jury. My mouth is still hanging open."
  9. ID should give her her own show. I can't watch that show at all because that's my reaction every single time. Most of these are just ridiculous -- people being mean/nosy/controlling, whatever -- for no good reason.
  10. I stayed off here until I got a chance to finish watching this because I had a feeling it would be really good and I didn't want to see any spoilers. It definitely didn't disappoint! It's crazy that Chris Regan, who seemed to be such a good looking guy, took up with such a slutty, trashy woman instead of staying with his pretty girlfriend. At one point I was even thinking it was a shame he hadn't hooked up with the Police Chief, she's so pretty and smart. But she found herself a good one, for sure. I hope the creep that fired her gets run out of town on a rail. And that Kelly -- ugh -- that smirk she had on her face every time they showed her made me want to slap her silly.
  11. Ugh, I have not, it's on my DVR, though. I'll let you know what I think, but I can assure you I will not be surprised.
  12. I thought the same thing. And this was just a couple of years ago, recently enough that she should have known better, it wasn't like it was the 70s.
  13. I've been traveling and am just now catching up on some shows on my DVR. I just had to comment on a couple that I though were weirder than weird. First, The Killer Beside Me episode where Brian Cooper killed his co-worker, Alisha Bromfield. It made absolutely no sense to me that she would skip a good friend's wedding to attend a wedding 400 miles away with an abusive supervisor -- just to keep a job at Home Depot?? I figured there had to be more to the story and there was. While she apparently complained to management about him (according to her mom), she also kept seeing him (and they dated for a while) and going to his home, and voluntarily attended the wedding. This was a tragedy, no doubt, especially since she was pregnant, but that was just a really dumb decision. And the first trial ended in a hung jury. My mouth is still hanging open. The second show was the See No Evil about the Rhonda Daugherty case. He's never talked about why he killed her; it's about as random of a case as I think I've ever seen. Crazy.
  14. The First 24 and Dead of Night are just repackaged ID shows from other series'. We see what you're doing there, ID.
  15. I've been married more than 35 years and if my hubby shot me he'd be up a creek -- he doesn't know any of our passwords.
