I just read this and had to sign in to commend your observations. I thought I just saw this but it's obvious that it's just not me. If you are not a writer, you should think about writing.....your ability to write in a humorous manner is great. Thank you

I agree!!. I am a hairstylist and performer and was disappointed of the lack of change in her appearance. I believe in last year's hair style change for Alexandra. I didn't like Kelli's way of showcasing her "unit"...embarrassing and unnecessary. Robin is a cute girl and articulate so with any style she would look great. So I believe they were being "conservative" at best with her "look".

Is it me or are Kelli's dresses becoming shorter each year? The dress she wore (dark blue) was a bit too short for her age. She has nice legs but her shape is a bit square. The dress didn't flatter her figure at all. Did anyone notice the 2nd routine looked a lot like the dance routine that was taught last year by the Allen Americans Ice Angel's Dance Director/Choreographer, Stephanie Dibiase Wheat? I love watching dance routines and I thought it odd it looked too familiar to last year's dance routine. Also, I think it is extremely unfair to suggest that the "veterans" could pick up choreography faster. Let's face it..the routines haven't changed so of course the vets are going to know the routine....p-llll-....eease... don't insult the audience's intelligence. It was an excellent show this evening but I would've liked to have seen more of the vets. And why are they still showcasing the same rookies on camera? Boring....

They are part of the Allen American Ice Angels; not the Dallas Ice Stars :) Robin is great! She might be another "favorite"...but just FYI..her "natural hair" is actually a weave...curly weave but it still looks good.

I am sooo glad someone noticed it as well. She is pretty but the hair could and should have definitely changed. Maybe Kelli or someone received negative comments about replacing the weave or (aka "Unit") from a black woman in last year's season (sorry I forgot her name). I think brown waves with highlights would have complimented her skin color/tone and overall appearance. Her current weave is too overpowering for her frame and it makes her look old. Soft waves would have been more youthful for her. Also, I never saw any former black DCC women change their hair weave. I think it's a very sensitive subject for most but changing a hair weave on national television is very intrusive and private. Again, I like Robin's look but they should've received referrals from stylists that know how to style African American hair. Someone should post Stephanie and Loren's cameo together. They could pass for sisters!

I just looked at most of the rookie's cameos....yuk. I agree with the comments on this blog. I have seen better rookie photos in the past. In fact, season 9 had a lot of attractive rookies. This year???? Not so much. However, I think Robin's cameo is cute. And what happened to Stephanie? She was gorgeous as an AAIA but the DCC photo is a bust. What a shame. I think they need better make-up artists and hairstylists.

I am watching season 3 now and the scene showing Carmen being cut is on.....so sad. She didn't realize she was getting cut. It was very hard to see that scene. I suspect the upcoming scene with Jasmine's cut is also going to be especially hard as Danielle's picture was obvious she was shaken by the cut. However, Jasmine is doing very well. She was in Paris with her man so good for her.
