  1. I guess I'm confused by Angela. So Jamie tells you that he's no longer about that life and you're fine with it? Even after he comes by with his face all messed up, that doesn't make you think that things might not be okay? Regardless of him telling you that he's out of the life, you know that he's murdered people and was one of the biggest damn drug dealers, but we can look past that? Oh, okay. Poor Greg. I was really hoping that he'd be able to get a leg up on Angela, but he was just too slow. Hopefully, he FINALLY realizes that Angela is a snake and she's not his friend. Oh Tommy. I wonder why Ghost never told Tommy that Lobos originally wanted him dead? That way, Tommy would know not to trust Lobos if he ever came around to wanting to work with him. I guess since Ghost thought he killed Lobos, there was no need, but now there's this predicament. I know Ghost and Tommy are on the outs, but I doubt Tommy will go through with killing Ghost. Plus, he won't want the dog to die, either. And...Holly. Still not trusting Dre and Ghost shouldn't, either. Dre is probably just Team Dre. Overall, I was cool with the finale. They left enough threads open so the story can go in many directions next season. Hopefully, one of those directions is Ghost and Angela finally waking the hell up and realizing their relationship is a stupid fantasy.
  2. It means to take a loss. After everything that's gone on with Angela, I just can't take her seriously at her job. Once/if it's found out how Angela has obtained her information, is the team's investigation going to fall apart? It sounds like Greg might start poking around a bit more down the road... So what are Kanan, Ruiz and the Serb going to do now? Go with the Serb's connect in Milan? Since Ghost never handed over his share of the money, I'm assuming he's going to try and get out of the game. Probably best he does since eyes will probably be all on him for having his partner arrested and Kanan will definitely make sure that sticks out to everyone. Did Lobos have on eyeliner this entire episode? It definitely seemed prominent in the restaurant scene, but I don't think I noticed it in previous episodes. Great use of the Elle Varner's "F--- It All" during the closing credits. Definitely appropriate usage there to convey Angela's losing streak against Jamie.
  3. Sheesh, seriously. If they don't show Ghost dumping that phone and activating a new phone next episode, I'm calling him the dumbest criminal ever. Because, a dealer leaving his unlocked phone around his US attorney sidepiece is not a good look. At least Tasha has the foresight to get the home and car swept for bugs, so kudos for her being proactive. Now, if her estranged could only take note... I just can't take the relationship between Tasha and Shaun seriously. Maybe it's because this fool really thinks that he can sweep Tasha away with her three kids and she'll be happy with the kind of life that he can provide. I just can't bring myself to believe someone could speak of that fairytale to someone else. When he started spewing that BS, I was like "Kanaan, come get your son!" At this point, the best hope he can has is that he doesn't end up six feet under by way of Ghost finding out about him and Tasha or getting in the crossfire of father's war with Ghost. Wondering who is the "birdie" that Lobos mentioned. I'm wondering if that is someone on the FBI task force, like Angela's new boss or that other guy that always antogonizes her (can't remember his name right now)?
  4. "You dumb bitch." That alone was worth the two week wait. I'm sorry, but I just don't care for Angela and I think she and Ghost are the biggest idiots. Or maybe it's because they both think they're 12 moves ahead of everyone else when they're really not. When her superior told her that he wasn't letting her interrogate Holly and she was saying "It's because I'm a woman" and he told her it was because she acted like a "little girl", I understood where he was coming from. Condescending as he sounds, she has been screwing up on this case since she was put on and after California, he wasn't going to let her further mess it up. I wonder what she's going to do with Ghost now & ensure career won't go down the drain. Plus, Greg saw her with Ghost so hopefully he'll bring Ghost down if she doesn't. Or he'll somehow be a dumbass since he's so blinded by being in love with her. I do wonder if Ghost and Stern's wife will come together to bring Stern down somehow. It's hard to believe that Stern would invite Jamie that type of party as his employee and someone who doesn't care for him. Also wondering how Ruiz will take not being given the Serb's territory since it's a broken promise. He's already noticing a rift between the two. Plus, Tommy and Ghost had to hurry up the pay schedule to pay Lobos, so I'm guessing there is some heat on Lobos? Someone made a comment about a connect never needing to expedite payment so quickly like that. Overall, a good episode.
