  1. And twitch worked with Adam Shankman on Hairspray!
  2. My sister-in-law had twins almost four months ago. She also has a two year old. Her husband took three months off from work. She also had either her mom or sister stay with her 24/7. She still has a sister staying with her now. She claims she cannot handle two babies and a toddler, as if it is just impossible and thousands of people don't do it every day. I mean, I get that twins are hard, but seriously! Sorry, off topic. My mother stayed with me for a week after all four of my kids. I did not want her to come, but she forced herself upon me. Here's hoping that Jinger has a stronger backbone than me, if she needs it!
  3. Yes, I do know a baby Felicity. Because I know lots of those pesky Catholics! http://saintsresource.com/felicity
  4. My kids love baked oatmeal. It is more like the consistency of quick bread than oatmeal. As pointed out above, Jill uses way too much eggs, sugar and vanilla. This is the recipe I use. I do not remember where I got it from. I used to half it, but I now have a teenage boy who like to eat it all day long, so I now make the whole thing: Baked Oatmeal Makes 8-10 servings 1 cup applesauce 1/2 cup sugar 4 eggs 6 cups oats 4 tsp. baking powder 1 tsp. salt 1 tsp. cinnamon 2 cups milk 3 large apples, chopped (or other combination of fruit) Combine all ingredients in order listed. Pour into greased 9x13-inch pan. Bake at 375° for 30-40 minutes until lightly browned. Can refrigerate overnight before baking. Serve topped with brown sugar, and milk.
  5. I'm sorry, but 1/2 cup of sugar on four pieces of toast!!!!!!???????
  6. Off track, I know, but the role of Edna Turnblad was originated by Divine, a well-known drag queen, in the original film by John Waters. Not sure of that makes a difference, but maybe helps in understanding how the character developed?? https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Divine_(performer)
  7. Seriously! I wear rash guards, shorts and/or skirts from Lands End every time I go to the pool. I like that they are modest, but I really wear them for sun protection and so I don't always have to shave all the places.
  8. I have a sister who has suffered for years with Borderline Personality Disorder. It is WAY more than delusional tweets. Can we please stop trying to diagnose a mental illness? He is a big, fat, lying liar. We don't know anything more than that.
  9. I assumed that "emergency c section" refers to a perpendicular cut, not a cut along the panty line.
  10. SOMEONE once said!!!???? It was Mother Theresa, now known as Saint Theresa of Calcutta. Are they not allowd to give credit to the evil Catholics for anything??? edit: sorry, saw that Mollie beat me to it. But, my outrage still stands.
  11. A Heathen Catholic went to the Creation Museum and wrote about it. I, of course, needed to share it here! https://www.americamagazine.org/arts-culture/2018/01/30/creationism-isnt-about-science-its-about-theology-and-its-really-bad
  12. Yes, east coast and Italian. Are there people named Vincent who aren't Italian?? ?
  13. I have lost my mind searching for a baby that I was holding in my arms.
  14. I have an uncle Jim. I think I was in my thirties before I knew his first name was actually Vincent.
  15. Is no one going to talk about Fik-shun's amazing afro? Or the way he kept affectionally patting it?
  16. My c section babies had monitors like that, but not the splints and the oxygen
  17. I have actually had four c-sections. The last three were scheduled, but I labored with all of them because they came earlier than my doctors were willing to schedule. And if I did math like Jill, I could claim I labored with the last for three days, but that's really stretching the truth. Hopefully, most of those "40 hours" were at the hospital. It was not specified.
  18. Actually, it was originally "Womb to tomb, Sperm to worm." You can hear it on the original soundtrack ?
  19. Ok, something is fishy. Was Iz on a plane with Jana and Michelle while Jill was at home "delivering" a baby???
  20. I don't post often, but I thought I would add to the miscarriage discussion. I had one miscarriage, then one live birth, then another miscarriage and my doctors ordered a series of blood tests after that. They found two blood disorders related to breaking down folic acid. Blood tests like these are not the same as genetic testing, which can be super expensive. The blood disorder was treated with supplements. Then I had a live birth, then another miscarriage. Then I was tested for my hormone levels and prescribed progesterone for as long as I was trying to get pregnant. Then I had two more live births. I had intervention for the middle two, but not the bookends. What I have learned is that there is so much that is not known about all of the many possible causes of miscarriage and how and if it is possible to prevent them. Also, insurance is heartless. Who knows what the doctors and insurance companies think regarding clotting disorders and their relationship to miscarriages.
  21. I am not sure what the correct topic for this is: http://time.com/3918215/modesty-culture-rape-culture/
