  1. I an starting to really like this series, which means it is going to get cancelled. Hopefully there are no episodes aired out of order after last week, which gave us some character whiplash. oh god, hopefully never. I hope her roommate and his girlfriend stay together and Nell finds someone of her own. What I am wondering is how long until Nell meets someone who also sees ghosts (Perhaps the last person who had the job?) It seems like she writes more than that - since didn't we see her with a few ghosts around her in the start of one episode? We just get to see the interesting ghosts.
  2. It was a much better backdoor pilot than, let's say, the one for The Rookie: Feds.
  3. I'm guessing that if the attorney tested in a separate environment she would do find. I was thinking the senior female attorney was 55-65? I don't think I have seen Kennedy McMann before, but I already love her! That's who that was! I couldn't place that it was Michael Weston! Same with Ronnie from Schitt's Creek! I think the next in the "Good" Franchise would be a teacher with ADHD (naaaah, just kidding - it has to be a disability or disorder that seems "exotic" but still recognizable.) Maybe some phobias? But if they do a cop, that's just a Monk ripoff. Maybe a scientist, since the Good-verse so far seems to be "big" jobs like Doctor and Lawyer. wait, wait, I got it! A business executive with some kind of disability! Since that completes the song Little Boxes (the theme song to Weeds)
  4. yuuup, they should go all in if they want to do that.
  5. I might check it out if it is ordered to series. It was a decent episode but I am not a lawyer and it seemed like it had a lot of things incorrect - like why would Shaun/the hospital have possession of the hand and why did the doctor they hire not do the test Shaun was going to do? I liked the lead of the spinoff and her sister, didn't really care for her mentor.
  6. I wish Everything's Gonna Be Okay hadn't been cancelled - that was such a fun show. Well there might be some medical shows next season that could be a fun watch - there's been a few medical pilots ordered that could be..... something. It looks like The Resident is cancelled, so the only medical show standing of the ones I currently watch, The Good Doctor, will need some other shows in the "Hatewatch to okay" range. Ted Lasso is on Apple TV+ - season 3 starts to release on Wednesday (1 episode a week - 12 episodes for the season). Definitely watch Person of Interest - it's a good sci-fi show that goes from procedural to serialized. Single Drunk Female is on Freeform and it is a comedy about a 28 year old woman (Sofia Black-D'Elia) who is an alcoholic who moves back in with her mother (Ally Sheedy) after rehab - she has to try to get her life back together while staying sober. Season 2 premieres on Freeform April 12th, with all of the episodes released on Hulu April 13th. If you haven't seen For All Mankind, it is also on Apple TV+ - it's an alternate history where the Space Race never stopped. It gets a bit soap opera-y at times (with one secondary plot in season 2 that I have never met anyone online who liked it), but it has three seasons and ranges from decent to great.
  7. yesss you finally finished it! The finale was honestly probably the best episode the show had since season 3. What books are you trying to read - and do you need suggestions for shows to watch? If you haven't watched them already, check out: Single Drunk Female Everything's Gonna Be Okay Ted Lasso Person of Interest
  8. This episode was good, but it wasn't good as a follow up to the last episode
  9. hahahahahahaha yeah I think it took me like 2 hours to get through my worst doctor post
  10. Yeah, it's like the writers have never been to the city. Tbh I didn't think of the subway because i've never taken it. I've only done NJ Transit and cabs.
  11. It looks like in NY, doctors and advanced care practitioners can perform an abortion as long as it is within their scope of practice.
  12. I have to assume that Shaun had a list somewhere of cars (along with however it would be paid for all detailed), then Leah got it and it got a paint job. I wouldn't be surprised if Glassman (As the baby's grandfather) gave a bit of a down payment for the car - since it doesn't seem like he is rebuilding his house at the moment.
  13. The Resident has most likely been cancelled, as props are being auctioned off
  14. Yuuuuuuuuuup I was thinking the same about that medical complications bit - I was born at 25 weeks, I'm alive. I'm a little dinged up, but I am here (mild CP, autism, ADHD). How far along was that woman anyway? She seemed like she was further along than 22 weeks. Jared was present for ~70% of the first season, iirc.
  15. Honestly, I am surprised that it has taken this long for Shaun to be sued. The backdoor pilot was supposed to be this week, but they had to push the schedule back a week because of the SOTU, I believe.
  16. That's why I called her Awesome Deaf Doctor is pretty much all of my Worst Doctor posts, because she is THE BEST
  17. Her first name is Elizabeth.
  18. This episode was great - I wouldn't mind if Monty came back every once in a while, though. I was totally not expecting that miscarriage reveal at the end - I was thinking we'd get the "superpowered protagonist reveals power to best friend" moment.
  19. the show Single Parents actually had a decent non-monogamous relationship - it was played for laughs, though. (at least I think it was good? it was a while back and I half-watched some of the episodes)
  20. If you need to talk health - I think I posted a bit about my health here. I've been disabled since birth (mild cerebral palsy, motor skill issues, autism) and acquired some along the way (epilepsy and a super rare chronic cancer) There are definitely things to like about the show, but watching the slow decline of it was rough
