  1. I just want a Lucy episode; just because we know Sarah, we know Audrey, we'll possibly know Veronica, but we'll never know shit about Lucy. Had a look at ER's Twitter for the first time in eight months (self imposed fandom break). Dude, 2015 has been rough on her. Her son does look like her. I can't believe he's two already. He has her eyes. re: cancellation. It's kind of cathartic to read that article. Knowing for a year and wondering when it was going to be official was harder then right out having something published before the start of season 5. I'm not explaining that right but I'm relieved to know now.
  2. So can you have two shows with the same content back to back? Because say Sleepy Hollow ends when the new season of Turn starts it'll be an epic battle of who's more accurate in their portrayal. So does that mean that Turn will have to cast a Betsy Ross too? Too bad they can not cross over with Turn. Because I think that would work way better then Bones. Heather Lind notwithstanding.
  3. Saw both Hayley Atwell and Dominic Cooper in The Duchess last night. DC has a freakishly tiny head or was fitted with a really bad wig. It was odd to look at. I finally saw Shea Whigham on True Detective.
  4. I think Joe Corbin was one of the more likeable (be it forgettable) side characters in the mess that was season two. And Zach Appelman is cute. I'm guessing Jenny hasn't caught up with Hawley in finding the evil stepmother? They left season 2 pretty open ended by just nearly having them walk off into the sunset, so bring on FBI Abbie. I thought the FBI dream is one of those neglected plot holes which has not featured much since the pilot episode. I also doubt that a separation would have harmed Crane much. He very much needs to be independent in this new world. If only to prove to himself that he can. The whole earning wages debacle comes to mind. I also doubt that his wonder about newfangled things will be cute anymore circa season 5 (if you know, they make it through this one...). Maybe the supernatural stuff (not Troubles, wrong show, bad Aoife) died down significantly for her to decide to go? Which leads to my next point: So if Abbie is FBI, can she pull rank (and other benefits) on Reyes or whoever run Sleepy Hollow PD nowadays?
  5. I'm thinking that if they can't get through the week without some epic bad event happening, it doesn't bode well for this new season. I stopped watching Bones a million seasons ago, but it still seems a really odd match for a spin off. The whole kick ass woman is strange. Isn't that what Jenny is for?
  6. James D'Arcy is the master of the slightly appalled / perplexed expression. Pretty sure everyone has quoted everything there is to quote in an eight episode season, but my favourites: 1. The back and forth in the interrogation room in the finale. 2. The Ginger Rogers one. I howled. 3. "Still can't find my leg" 4. "Bloody Nora" (which may have been used in real life) 5. "I took two buses to an audition, and sang two of "Are you or Ain't you" and they cut me off. I guess I ain't." I love Angie for that quote alone. Exact song title might need citation though.
  7. Can I be the sole opponent on this whole Captain America being her one true love business? Because yeah, no. I watched the series before I watched the first Captain America movie and was massively disappointed that it wasn't quite the epic whirlwind romance I imagined it would be. I hoped there was at least one date. Even if they only went to see the newsreel at the theatre or something. I'm totally in the Sousa camp. I'm not sure why people ship her with Thompson (she doesn't even like Thompson.) or Jarvis (sweet man, but lovingly devoted to his unseen wife) or Stark (I don't know that she'd want to be a number on a list, basically).
  8. I want Ichabbie to move forward with their relationship. Because watching them revert into it during season 2 was possibly one of my minor pet peeves in s2. I want more bigger picture episodes. Because someone kept the secret for 250 years, and I bet those people do not necessarily live in Sleepy Hollow. I want to know why both Crane and Abbie were chosen. More Jenny. I don't mind Hawley returning. Hawley was fun. I want a more mature version of season 1. Monster of the week, mythology episode, Monster of the Week. And no more Henry whining. From anyone.
