  1. I'm still onboard because of the overall mystery, but If I end up abandoning ship it will be due to some of the acting (especially from the lead, geesh) and the constant poorly written bantering that goes on every episode a dozen times from the same pairings again and again where both parties come off as douchey. Enjoyed real gay guy smacking down fake gay guy, but not most of the build up, since it was that aforementioned repitituous and poorly written tit for tat dialogue that plagues this show. That said I do enjoy Simon, the twins, blonde sniper and the director(actually not positive re her title?) - everyone else is fine to annoying as of now.
  2. Liv and Fitz rutting around to Marvin Gaye while discussing how to spin the fact that he declared war and sent dozens of soldiers to their deaths over his mistress being kidnapped was one of the grossest things I've seen on Scandal. And considering the amount of torture porn this show has subjected us to... that is a feat. Great to see Leo again; he was amazing. Great to see little of Jake and the B-52s; they were the worst.
  3. Enjoyable premier, it lagged at parts but that's acceptable to me since new storylines and characters are being introduced. I will always be glad when CH visits. I also thought they did a good job with her witch-body replacement last season. Bex is just a great character that should be a part of this show and if they showrunners can work with the actress' schedules, then I'm all for it. I'm happy Freya is still in the mix, and hopefully Kol will reenter the present day tapestry this season. I liked that the sire lines storyline is coming into play, it always felt odd that there were no larger fallouts when Finn and Kol first died. Divina has been a child throwing tantrums, I hope we see something stronger from her this outing. Nice to have Vincent still around, great actor. Hilarious that Cami is now being used as a consulting detective. She didn't grate so much so I must kind of like that for her. She can be a kind of bartender kind of therapist kind of detective and hopefully a kind of okay character. Lucien had a nice introduction. It was delighfully creepy to see him slice his mouth open after being shown to be behind the whole Kingmaker thing. I take it that woman in the Tibet-like setting was also the woman introduced in the flashback that he had a fallout with (did he say Rora? Aurora? Not sure.) Anyway - very interested for that whole storyline to unfold. Silliest thing was Marcel opening up a vampire fight club in the church. Eyes were rolled. And my last unorganized thought in this messy post is that although I miss cute gay wolf man Aiden dearly, Josh can stay gone.
  4. I thought that final Dodds/Rollins scene a little pointed - possible baby daddy? Really enjoying the newest detective, Carisi...miss his mustache a bit though. On a shallow note, he and Barba are nice eye candy. Good season so far!
  5. Ramona is the winner of this episode for snoozing on all those women and Andy. Amazing.
  6. After rewatching, one of my favorite parts of this amazing episode is as the vacation scenes wind down, and various housewives are having shitfits and meltdowns, Ramona pops up in her talking head saying the trip was amazing and a 10 out of 10. End scene/Cut to NYC. I can't help it, I know how rude and out of line she can be, but Ramoner can always come through and crack me up. #ramonablue #bluestonemanorgate et cetera
  7. I'm still laughing over this, thank you. Post of the thread! Someone asked about feathers (sorry if this has been addressed, when I originally went to respond, we had already managed to get the thread locked)...I believe Sonja added pink flamingo like feathers to the back pockets of her jeans, where Lu added tan quail like feathers to hers. Much more appropriate for an Indian.
  8. Sonja was the MVP this episode. She didn't get wasted, she stayed out of the various ridiculous arguements, and she had a witty running commentary throughout. Nice to see more of that side of her compared to her messier moments. I personally do not agree with the extent that Heather and Carole got upset that morning, but I'm sure everyone gets exhausted and is basically over everything at the end of these trips (see Dorinda two minutes earlier). But it was like this tiny, minuscule folie a deux - first the naked man was in a bed in the adjoining room, then he was in their bedroom, then he was in their bed, then he was jerking off in their room wearing their jewelry... Anyway, may we all get laid by hot (unmarried) scotsmen. The even bigger overreaction, to me, was Luann's bone to pick at the bedazzling party, which just drudged everything from Turks back up unnescessarily. Carole basically seemed over it after putting Ramona on a time out (and was more upset with Ramona's Chef-shaming comments at the hotel to begin with) and all Heather seemed to want was a straight forward apology from Ramona, which she eventually received. It should have been done and buried, but now the Countess is clutching her pearls about them barging into her room? What the hell, lol. Dorinda and Luann were definitely talking to each other and feeding into each other's issues with Heather prior to the get together, but I can't say that's any different than what any of the other ladies were shown doing, let alone any behind the scenes conversations. I'm still liking all of the ladies at various ever changing levels, and I think it's been a pretty terrific season overall. I will say Heather has been sinking for me some in that regard. Her talking head interviews have been increasingly cut throat and I do feel like she thinks she's better than the others and is controlling. Her sarcasm in arguements really rubs me (and obviously Dorinda) the wrong way. On the other hand, I think she can be very fun loving and nurturing, she's obviously a smart business woman, and she had a sweet, attractive husband. But let's be honest, when she smiles at someone, it looks like she's thinking about 5 different ways to kill that person. All of these women are mixed bags with their pluses and minuses, whatever, they're getting paid good money to put themselves out there and I'm not going to get overly invested in loving or hating any of them. That being said, the ones I've enjoyed most this year are Manic Bethenny, Too Cool Carole and Bat Shit Ramona.
  9. Aria: "I just want to focus on something other than myself." Me: "That's a first." Spencer becoming a pot head is my new favorite storyline. Also, did Spencer switch a big ugly brown sweater for a big ugly brown coat? Sarah's haircut really does suit her. Gotta wonder how deeply affected she is and if still connected to A. Clark: "Hello, I'm Clark." Me: "Maybe all the girls will get new black boyfriends this season." The group finding a Charles grave surprised me. Whether it's truely Charles I doubt, but I could see it going either way. This episode may have had more answers than any other, I enjoyed seeing so many puzzle pieces being put in place at once. Nice to continue to see the parents in their limited capacities. Haven't lost interest in the girls' PTSD and where Sullivan plays into the story. Ezra's a goober. And maybe a pedophile. Nice eye candy as always. I thought it was a pretty great episode but I'm going to need to see Queen Mona soon.
