  1. Oh, to view this series for the first time again would be wonderful. The journey through the storylines, the character arcs, the mastery of the film makers ended on such a perfect note. I still have the finale saved on my dvr. I could not have hoped for better. Enjoy the journey, Take your time. It is so worth it.
  2. I really like them. I was a little worried about Dad because some of the challenges seemed hard on his body. His son is in such great shape, Dad may be pushed more than I find comfortable to watch! Great team, though
  3. I always think that art, the humanities, is the gift we humans get for having to walk this realm with our fragile hearts and monkey minds. Sometimes we get to see the pure perfection of talent, time, and patience as it crafts a masterpiece. I just was gifted such a masterpiece. I watched the series finale of Endeavor. Perfect. I had watched all of Morse, watched Inspector Lewis, and then this series. The finale was so fleshed out and human. The writing was up to the task of fulfilling an arc and laying the groundwork of foreshadowing the man who we first watched as a closed if not brilliant detective. I am sad that I will not ever be able to experience it for the first time again. But well done. All the characters, all the actors, all the stories, and all the scenery. Just savoring the details and sadly knowing that I won't see these characters again in a new setting. Well done, Endeavor. Well done.
  4. I really loved Dagleish, the second season particularly. The build of understanding this quiet but decent man is beautiful. He reminds me of Foyle's character. Good, quiet men who observe and react to life with a stillness.
  5. Yes, he has the lovely Fox voice but is a sad human besides that. His older relatives seem nice enough, but who knows really.
  6. I knew it was a short series, but I was expecting two more episodes. I found this series to be really good. I like all the characters and how they are written. Wish I could look as good as the CIA woman--not going to attempt to try to spell her name---does with that haircut. I watch a lot of Swedish Noir and brutal British killing shows, so this was like a nice, breezy fun time for me. Since they don't know if it will be renewed, we don't have any scripts polished and ready nor filmed scenes in the can. It may be a long wait. Le sigh.
  7. Decided to try this series today...and this is the end of Day 1 binge. I f*cking love it. Tomorrow, I will wrap it up. I have alerts on The Americans because Keri Russel is quite singular.
  8. I don't get madder at Marjan's inconsistencies than I do with Christians divorcing or having premarital sex. Lots of "believers" of many faiths easily pick and choose. Shellfish, anyone? Buttons, anyone? Dancing, anyone?
  9. The singing was magical. The sweetness of their voices is rare to hear, at least for me. I listen to poignant alto voices usually so this was a treat. Need to find more now that I know they are known vocalists.
  10. At the tale end of the second installment, but Jubel is a douche and should be kicked off because he has caused two deadly situations. But they love him, so I guess nothing will happen. Intermission is done, back to seeing how this wraps up. Oh, I watch this series because I want to see International places I should put on my bucket list. That is why this one is superior for me.
  11. Gosh, I find him passive aggressive and highly annoying.
  12. I loved Jershika, too. But I knew she wouldn't win, so was happy a Girl Named Tom won instead. Wichita Lineman has always been a melancholic song that has been haunting for me and they did not mangle it, actually they really nailed it, IMO. And I am not a country lover.
  13. He tried both religious and medical. That kind of tells me that he was throwing spaghetti on the wall trying to see if anything sticks. Sorry, not sorry. Ironically, he's cooked. I have stopped watching two show ( The Rookie and New Amsterdam) this new seasons because they were going so off the rails it wasn't fun or engaging to watch anymore. This show is getting close to being dropped...I fast forwarded through most of the prison episode with the idea that I missed the goofy emergencies they used to have. But I like how Disney wasn't buying the Bull that was being presented by this actor, so I will stick around and hope it gets back to the formula that made it fun, silly tv watching.
  14. Ugh! I fast forwarded through most of it. Stopped along the way, thinking "Nope." Yes to tennisgurl! I am onboard with what your wrote.
  15. I hate this character. Shonda loves this character so much, that can be the only explanation why we have suffered through his arc all this time. Ugh!
