  1. After seeing the obstacles on Stage 3, I can just imagine someone at NBC saying, "OK, we gave away the million once. Now we need to design it so no one does it ever again."
  2. I must say that I didn't watch much of the first part simply because simply looking at snakes bothers me. I'm getting better but it still literally brings nightmares. So this leg and the last leg with the sharks is why I will never be on the Amazing Race, even if it is my favorite TV show. I was sad to see Zach and Rachel go. They and Burnie/Ashley were/are my favorite teams.
  3. The hand-to-hand bucket brigade was my favorite part. I like the international aspect, but I'm afraid with the premise of the show, we will only see negative aspects. Hopefully, they can highlight positive aspects as well.
  4. If the race uses detailed tasks in which the order could be easily switched, then it seems to some not to be very photogenic. If the race uses tasks that have great scenery, then it seems to some not to be as competitive. I imagine it's hard to put together episodes that have both aspects every time. I personally loved the scenery of this episode. To me, the detour was a choice between something that could be finished quicker but took some guts or one that didn't take such fortitude but might take longer. For the roadblock, the order could be switched because the teammates waiting at the bottom soon realized they couldn't count on who was flying in. I also liked the fact that we didn't know whether Erin or Ashley was flying in when we knew they were the last. Instead, we only saw the successful take-off afterwards.
  5. Fun fact. The one contestant ran the first category and earned $3000, and that was also his score going into the final. There must have been a lot of up and down going on!
  6. Took a minute, but I got it now. Thanks for the explanation. If possible, they could put Ashley on at the same time as that other returning champion (the one who couldn't come back after the unexpected delay,) so that there are three returnees in the same game.
  7. The TV cut out right when they were revealing the answers. Why was the wording difficult and why is only one of the two others getting a second chance?
  8. So this season we have seen that they have "medical" and "safety" to the side. Maybe they have "legal" too and we just didn't see the hasty consultations. :)
  9. Spencer knew they couldn't split the votes, so instead he tried to psych Kellie out. I think the immunity necklace brings a false sense of bravado.
  10. This is my favorite show and will probably remain so for a long time, even though it's now ended. This show is great to cheer people up or just a good way to unwind. My favorite episode has to be the prehistoric one, though there were so many also that were awesome. They ended the last episode well. The last song brought back a lot of great memories, and I liked how afterwards they had just Phineas looking at the camera one last time.
