  1. He seems like the type of person who knows they have a good thing but can't commit but also don't want to let it go because they know they will regret it later down the line.
  2. That might be true but I for one couldn't hug it out with some one if they had cheated on me the way they hugged it out when he first came in. No ma'am.
  3. I think she said both didn't put time in because Davina, if she knew he was working weekends, could have spent weekends in New Jersey with Sean. Then Davina could say definitively, I tried but it just didn't work. She made no effort whatsoever. Sean is wrong but so was she. She wasn't willing to sacrifice at all imo.
  4. Not all schools have APA accreditation and its not required as long as the school as a whole is accredited by the governing body in which it is located.
  5. I'm glad I took the insider info with a grain of salt. A number of things didn't align. They said the wrong Ryan cheated and that the experts forced the women to say yes. I'm sorry but if someone is forcing me to stay in a bad situation I wouldn't be giving them a big hug like jessica and jac did with the experts. As far as the experts are concerned we have got to stop acting like they lived this experience with the participants as it was happening. They matched the people and then the people had to do the work. Even the participants acknowledged that. These were not their personal therapists providing them services. Golly, calm down. They aren't quacks because the people are getting divorced. They made arrangements based on info the participants gave them and assessments. Honestly, if we could do better and handle the stress of that then they wouldn't have a show and we wouldn't be watching it and talking about. Plus, they are are personally invested. In any matchmaking situation the matchmaker usually is. I agree Ryan is a douche but jessica called him a gambler not a drug addict. Just for ratings alone, if she had said it I would have definitely added that into the show. Personally, she did not come off as abused. When I was younger my parents help a woman who was abused. She avoided windows, wasn't very confident, was jumpy at times, and when she talked about her husband you saw true fear and trepidation. Jessica imho looked like a pissed off woman and rightfully so but not abused. Could he have threatened her? Sure but admitting to smashing his property is more "violent" then we have seen him be to her. saying he was wearing the watch she bought him, then giving him the "ok boo boo I got your number" side hug at the end shows me that she and her lawyer ain't dumb. I don't buy her being afraid. But her giving him the $100 gave me life! Dr. C was right she could have been the bigger person and not be petty but at that point she was just over it and with him cheating on her I don't condone it but don't necessarily blame her. Davina deserved to get asked what her part was to play in the ending of her relationship. I was just as frustrated with her as Dr. Logan. There is no growth in you as a person, imho, if you cannot see and take responsibility for your actions in the demise of something. To me that is disingenuous. She was no angel and if she had owned up to that like everyone else did she would have come off better. Being rightfully pissed doesn't make you immune from correction. I don't like Sean so anything he said was blah to me but everyone is allowed to change their mind. He thought he could handle moving and then he realized he couldn't. That doesn't make him a liar just that he didn't know that about himself until he was put in this situation. However, I do think that if Davina had been the girl for him he would have made the sacrifice. Love Jac. Dated a dude like Ryan R. He's the type that talks our of both sides of his mouth. She doesn't need that.
  6. They did address the satan comment. The host asked Sean why he thought of her as the devil and he responds. It wasn't the greatest answer but it was addressed.
  7. I'm not saying that its good publicity but in some respects in entertainment publicity doesn't have to be good as long as people are talking. They showed a marathon of the show this passed weekend while all this was going on for goodness sake. When "scandals" hit a network as we have seen with 19 kids or even Duck Dynasty they are quick to pull the series (even though Duck Dynasty is now back on). I think its telling that this hasn't happened. Besides, people like watching trainwrecks. They always have unfortunately they always will. Until you can pull a police report showing that Ryan D has been arrested for anything what do we really have besides speculation? Thats not enough to get a show canned. Besides if the insider was so worried why didn't they drop this bomb well before now. Its too planned, too coincidental and a very great risk for this person who works in the industry to take without a hefty payout from a media outlet. Leaking stuff like that can get you blackballed in the industry. This show is to see if science can predict true love. Period. Sometimes it can and sometimes it can't but thats the point. Distance. Mommas Boy issues. And other things discussed here are not disqualifiers in traditional marriages because these people get married everyday. The question is once the science has done its part will the individuals paired put in the work to make the marriage last. The experts are not these peoples therapists. They are not providing services they are providing advice just like you would give a friend advice. We really should expect them to be anything other than advisors to these couples. Their main job is at the beginning of the show and then they just check in. The rest is up to the couples. Thats what happens in traditional arrangements. The parents match you and then advise you along the way its up to you to heed the advice. The main difference between this and a traditional arrangement is that these couples have the option to get divorced. In other cases those other couples don't really have that option. Imo I don't think the experts rep is ruined. They still have a huge following and lots of supporters. Besides I for one don't blame them for how these individuals have acted on the show and social media. Thats a testament to the participants character not the character of the experts. They haven't broken confidentiality agreements or anonymity and since this is for tv and the assessments are not used to diagnose anybody we can't say they personally have done these people harm. The only people to blame is production for bad portrayal of themselves on tv and there poor ability to deal with the scrutiny.
