  1. No, they do not. They cut from angle to angle and then zooooom swoooop in, then cut, swoop, cut, circle, HEADSHOTS, NOSEBLEED SEATS, zipline in! They couldn't obscure the performance more if they were trying.
  2. Jesus, EJ's so incapable of NOT being the alpha provider that he self-exiles. Well, look forward to your tapping-out, EJ. How terrible, to eat fish every day until you leave. I mean, yeah, it'd be great to be in Matt/Waz/Dan Land, game-wise, but Steven and Amber seem like they're set for the remainder of the time. Worst comes to worst, they can find a likely site most of the way there and create a small shelter a bit every day to cut down the hike.
  3. Damn, the recording cut off the ending bit for Mike and Arisce. What was the final verdict? I'm surprised they don't have a reunion show to show how things turned out - most of these reality shows these days seem to have them.
  4. `Probably makes it unique for for trademark reasons.
  5. From illinoislegalaid.org: So anyone who knows these chuckleheads will believe they thought the boat captain could legally solemnize the wedding. Also, a smart tourist boat captain would have a license from the Universal Life Church just in case someone wanted to rent out the boat for a last-minute wedding. 😄 Looks like it was Trump Tower that told them to fuck off. Love playing "where's the location" in the Loop.
  6. I hate the smarmy guy with the hybrid car who rolls into the gas station to use their squeegee and gets smug and pissy when the attendant RIGHTLY POINTS OUT that the squeegee is a free benefit FOR CUSTOMERS. If you're saving that much gas money, use it to buy your own damn squeegee, sir, and quit blocking a pump.
  7. Man, this season is making me so petty: I'm oddly glad that A'Dan missed the Beef Council challenge. Like, F you and your "amazing grill skills", child.
  8. Oh, god, I love his green-screening into these ridiculous scenes!
  9. That's what I thought the first time around, too, but I watched again with closed captions on and it was "I'm glad you weren't with him." Assuming the CCs are based on a script and not just audio processing.
  10. I thought "Aw, Dad's boyfriend hasn't made Dad status." :) Same! And that he handed off the IC position properly and didn't just run in like an idiot because May was in there. Competence is sexy! (And is it just me or do fire shows dick around with wandering around the fire without actually putting water on anything a lot? Enough so that I was surprised that they were using the hose on the corridor outside the quiet room. Not that it did any good.) Loved the dramatic slo-mo walk of the 118 into the parking garage into Taylor's camera. They really are blowing up Taylor and Buck with him telling Lucy he was glad she wasn't in there with Cap.
  11. It was Standard Gary Idiocy. The only difference is that he didn't brag about the stupid thing he was doing first. It's probably better he sprayed his face with the poison before he decided to sleep the night on his "new bed".
  12. Yeah, other than Nicolle's constant yelping and grimacing, I'm liking these folks. No one seems like a desperate D-lister trying to be entertaining, which is a relief.
  13. The Feds were just unnecessary assholes. I mean, it happened at a school. MOST LIKELY, some kid picked it up as a souvenir. Just hold an assembly, explain to the kids that it's very important to get all the parts of the plane to figure out what went wrong - so important that it's against the law to take parts as souvenirs. So if they "come across" anything like THIS <show picture of part> please help us out by turning it in immediately. I mean, they just want to recover it, not scare people into destroying or hiding it to avoid punishment for a mistake. (Because I guarantee you, 999 out of 1000 people would not know it's a CRIME to take a piece of shrapnel.)
  14. He's the show's poster child for toxic masculinity.
  15. Jesus, Jamar and Minh-Ly, I wanted to shut them up with a punch in the mouth at that table. I love Mike and Arisce from his YouTube channel / TikTok. They are definitely friends unlike half these toxic assholes.
  16. Did he actually kill them though? The apartment building was a fire code death trap with non-functioning sprinklers. Anyone could have knocked over a candle or left a space heater on and had the same results.
  17. And they keep pairing Ryan with Oliver in storylines, which makes him look even more flat. Just watched the tsunami multi-ep and Oliver just goddamn killed it while Ryan could barely manage his eyes watering when he was told his child was missing. When Eddie got shot, it was Buck's response that made all the emotional impact.
  18. I found this video on the Amazing Race's channel and they talk about how Kim had to just... not deal with the bungee jump until she was in a place she could process it.
  19. Penn and Kim's knob was to the side against the background color, but they did stripe some of those waves onto the base of their doorknob. Arun and Natalia's knob was entirely off to the side and just had the ship rigging on it. Raquel and Cayla, though - their knob was right in the middle of the area they painted green, but they weren't required to paint it? The only thing I can think of is that it was considered background and not part of the image? Still, if the boys were comparing their door to the gals', the doorkob would not be an obvious difference.
  20. Heh, he actually mentioned it in one of his ADHD "Top 10 Tips" vids. After losing (I think it was ) three rather expensive wedding rings, he had her name tattooed in place of the ring so he couldn't "lose" it. 😄
  21. In the recaps, he also mentioned that he's slightly claustrophobic and the train was VERY TINY (and he's 6'6") and the train's fit in the tunnel barely had any clearance, so I bet he wasn't eager to have to redo the journey should they have it wrong. As someone Penn's age with ADHD, I'm loving watching these two - somehow they've figured out how to leverage her anxiety and his ADHD to work well together and I like that they sat down before the race and discussed how they were going to cope relationship-wise under stress. You can see that in the mail task where Kim brought Penn out of his shame spiral and his failing made her feel like the pressure not to fail was off a little - they flubbed a task and survived to live another day.
  22. Well, I did not totally hate anyone so that's a decent start. The drag queens may end up being intolerable but I'm willing to give them time to calm down the crazier shit. Wouldn't mind if someone turned the hose on the married couple who were dry-humping each other half the time, though.
  23. Well, it seemed like they found the age limit. Did they even have these kids audition in person without "adult assistance"? The 8yo just made a hot mess. Some kids had no concept of a crumb coat and its purpose. Some really chunky, thick frosting out there that just made everything worse. The peanut butter cake with the crap-colored frosting - girl, dust it with some vivid glitter or sugar to brighten it up, 'cause that was a nice frosting job, good flavor, and clean lines and the color let it down. Underdone jelly-bean cake - slapping a fistful of jelly beans on is not decorative. And the rice krispie flowers were terrible. Not cutting it properly was just the cherry on top. It's like a unicorn barfed on the cake board. Green Tragedy cake - WTF, how did this piece of shit win over Ava-Leigh's? From the beginning and his decision to put coconut in the frosting, through his mangling the cake so bad it was an uneven pile of crumbs with frosting dumped on top to the vigorous sanding for that gritty final note.
  24. While it's not unreasonable that Isaiah forgot his past and become Gavin (and probably doesn't really understand the situation with the 2021 folks), Lily is old enough to remember EVERYTHING and yet she... didn't. So the real worry for everyone should be "Do I want to go through that light and have my entire life wiped out of my brain?"
