  1. abelard, I think it was just that the guys were high and couldn't/ didn't protect Andre. She didn't give us any more details about Andre's death that I remember, but rather used the story to explain why she went so nutso and turned Mike and Terry in to her pets. That was my take, anyway. When Carl asked if they were going to tell the others about what they had done while separated, I immediately thought of Carol & Tyrese. Surely they're having the same conversation, wherever they are. It made me think maybe each of these little sub-groups won't share the details of their time apart, and that could change the dynamics of the larger group growing forward. After all, they're so used to people dying that there really isn't a need to give specifics; everyone will just figure zombies got them. Should be interesting to watch going forward. Six freaking months from now.
  2. I have no idea if the Sonny/ Ava marriage is a thing that is going to happen or not, but it just makes no sense. I guess the only reason for it would be to protect Sonny from anything Ava might be forced to testify about with regard to the AJ shooting - is that right? But..that's not how it works. At all. I know that realism in anything legal-related is the last thing I should expect from this group of douchecanoes (even though there's a lawyer pulling the strings!), but come on. That can be figured out with one 5 minute Google search. Not sure why these are the things I fixate on, but there it is. And I do not believe for one second that Olivia would be upset about Sonny marrying Ava to protect him, even if it meant that Sonny had to tell her about shooting AJ. She is no longer the character she used to be; she now just serves to prop up Sonny. She would just say "Oh, god, Sonny, that must have been terrible for you, being forced to break that promise to Michael, but it was the right thing to do. AJ is a monster." Even if she finds out that AJ didn't kill Connie. Because it is, really, all about Sonny. And Olivia has porridge for brains.
  3. My bigger problem is their clothes, especially pants/ jeans. I've lived in the south, and any long pants that you sweat in every day, all year long, are going to wear out in the crotch/ legs/ knees in less than 18 months. Especially with the amount of walking these people do. And don't even get me started on the zippers and buttons. Or their shoes!
  4. I wasn't as bothered by the Afghanimals crossing the tracks as I was by them telling a tuktuk driver to block the cowboys. I was always under the impression that teams weren't allowed to interfere with other teams' racing (other than just doing their own racing, of course). Putting an obstacle in front of another team seems outside of the lines, somehow. This season is much better than I expected it to be. Seems pretty competitive, the teams (so far) seem mostly tolerable, and they've had some good challenges.
  5. I died. Hilarious. I liked this episode, and loved Daryl getting back with Rick, Michonne, and Carl. Poor Carl - he's one of the more annoying characters I've ever seen, but that kid has really had a difficult childhood/ adolescence. It'd be a surprise if he wasn't a "monster". Pretty impressive how Rick noticed the poncho, backpack, riot gear, and pocket watch. I suppose they're on high-alert all the time (well, some of them anyway), but that was still a pretty good pick-up. I wonder, though, if they would have been better served by not acting immediately rather than biding their time while they tried to figure out what was going on. Does Daryl think Beth left him, or does he think she was kidnapped? When that car rode off, I thought she had been taken, but I suppose it's possible she panicked and voluntarily went along with whoever was in that car. Seems unlikely, though, and I would think Daryl would know that.
