  1. Yeah, this episode brought back memories of that CSI story line. I hate the way they're trying to make Bishop into Ziva 2.0.
  2. Pitt will be going for Bedt Supporting Actor for OUATIH. His Best Actor push will come for Ad Astra.
  3. The Favourite and Roma led the way with 10 nominations each. I think Vice did vey well, Green Book, maybe not so much. Won't You Be My Neighbor not getting a Best Documentary nomination stings.
  4. He played Wagner in a movie about Natalie Wood, and in turn Wagner played his father on NCIS.
  5. Andrew Sullivan is beyond insufferable. I'm amazed Soledad O'Brien was able to keep her composure as well as she did having to deal with that asshole sitting next to her.
  6. Am I the only one who finds it very odd (and maybe a little concerning) that the promos CBS has been running don't include any clips from new episodes?
  7. That was quite the little twist at the end, wasn't it? As always, it was silly but I still liked this one. Ray as Walter's "guardian angel" was great.
  8. I'd rather they fire Walter instead.
  9. Dave is stepping in for a sick Neil Young to induct Pearl Jam into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame tomorrow night.
  10. There's a definitely a group of fans that feels that way. There's also a pretty significant group that wanted them to finally break free from the John Thompson influence over the program and in their mind Ewing being hired foes the exact opposite. That was an ugly championship game and I place most of the blame on the refs.
  11. I'm sorry, but this is just making me laugh at the absurdity of it all.
  12. Probably not, CBS has been really pushing James Corden on us no matter how much...or little we want it.
  13. Yeah that crossed my mind about her being liable for the issues with the boat. The other thing that crossed my mind was that I was kinda hoping Paige would walk over and kick Walter into the water right in front of the shark.
  14. I watched it. If you're an Oprah Winfrey fan this was for you as a lot of it was as much about Oprah's memories of Mary as it was about Mary. The Dick Van Dyke clip was great, though, as you might expect. Me TV just started showing Mannix this month. It was because of that I found out that Connors and one of his co-stars, Joseph Campanella, were still alive, into their 90s.
  15. CHIPs, or let's see how many dick and homophobic jokes we can cram into a two and a half minute trailer.
  16. I knew there were no singles released off Sgt. Pepper's, eliminating "With a Little Help..." and leaving "Yellow Submarine " as a pretty obvious answer. When Alex revealed the category he made a comment about one of the contestants being very happy. If that was Blair, that makes her wager all the more frustrating.
  17. It's not just you, the game started around 8:15 and we're coming up on three hours and they still aren't out of the third quarter yet.
  18. Toomey wins in PA, thus clinching the Republicans keeping control of the Senate. The good news just coming and coming.
  19. Was that Joe's first talking head segment? I'm not a father, but I agree with Jay about how Father's Day is viewed compared to other holidays. His bit with the sausages at the end was great. I too liked seeing the kids hanging out and Claire and Phil enjoying themselves away from the kids. The callback to Claire's inappropriate laughter about death was the highlight of the episode for me, though.
  20. I enjoyed the scene with Johnny writing the song with the girl, and I am getting a kick out of Campbell Scott's send up of the pompous self important actor who thinks every idea he has is the greatest thing ever. The Ava X stuff is boring me to tears. It's too much of a rehash of Season 1. I agree that Gigi being around all these people 20 and 30 years older than her is a little hard to buy. Actually, in some ways, I wish they'd drop both ladies and focus on the band of has beens trying for their one last shot. Regardless of what they do, they need to have more Johnny/Flash scenes. Those are more often than not the best parts of show.
  21. On a show that's had some terrible CGI, those panthers might haven been the worst of them all. I feel like they could have grabbed someone right off the street and they could have done just as good a job. Sullen Jamie is just as much of a brat as she was before, although for once she did make sense about telling Mitch and Jackson about the latter's father. Logan is the one selling them out? Yawn. Hopefully, Dariela's trip lasts a long long time.
  22. Well, at least the triangle is over, even though the reason they give for the resolution is absurd beyond words. Oh and Josh/Maya will never be okay. Please stop trying to sell them writers.
  23. Enough already. Farkle speaks for us all. What's with Smackle flirting with Lucas and Josh in front of Farkle? Are we supposed to find that cute or endearing? All I see is her being a shitty girlfriend. More Zay please! I feel like that could be written after every episodes in which he appears.
  24. I'm still enjoying the show, but I think they're going too heavy on the relationship stuff this season. Or maybe it's just that the whole weird Johnny/Ava/Flash/Gigi dynamic can't help but give me a headache if I think about it too long. Regardless, I hope we get more music in future episodes.
