  1. Am I the only one who's stupidly excited by this casting news? Also, I really thought they had tied things up at the end of season three of Ripper Street, but that's ok, I will always watch more Matthew Macfadyen all day every day.
  2. in Scream 3 and in Scream 4. Not surprising that Will would end up being in on it. Fair point as to the first, but of course, she had an accomplice. And Also, are we concerned for movie spoilers? Is there anyone watching who hasn't seen the movies and is just hoping the show will live up to them in even the smallest amount?
  3. HOW ARE THERE SO MANY CHARACTERS ON THIS SHOW AND NONE OF THEM ARE DEAD YET? Apologies for the caps, but seriously, it was necessary.
  4. *Gasp!* Will scary things actually happen next episode? Stay tuned, folks!
  5. I mean, Billy & Stu did intentionally stab themselves in the original movie, and Will only got stabbed just the once, so he very well could be in on it. Riley, I think, got it in the femoral artery, which is why she bled out. I like Piper for the child of Brandon James and Emma's mom, whether she may be the killer or not. Now especially since Emma's mom admitted to being friends with Brandon. I still think there's more there than she's saying. That lady has a LOT of secrets, and she is eking them out, one at a time. Yeesh. That whole thing with delaying Rachel's murder investigation was just weird and stupid. I don't know why Emma's mom went along with that like it was a good idea. Unless Emma's mom is the killer... man, that would be the only thing that would surprise me at this point. Actually no, I kind of like that theory. The only surprises for me would be if the killers are Emma, Audrey or Noah. Or Brooke. Oooh, if Brooke was just playing everyone all this time? Maybe she killed her mother and her dad was cleaning up the body for her?? This show. I could easily see Kieran being a red herring. Like Jerry O'Connell in Scream 2. But if he's not the killer, he has to die. IF THEY WOULD ACTUALLY KILL PEOPLE ON THIS SHOW. Le sigh.
  6. Mason is sideline killing it this season. At least some people are using their noggin on this show (SCOTT). Can Mason be the new alpha? But yeah, more Mason and more Brett, please.
  7. I thought that actually DID remind us that Malia spent her life as a coyote. Otherwise, why is her big fear wolf traps?
  8. A friend of mine works on this show, so I'm genuinely happy for him, but is anyone else shocked that this got picked up for season two? I got to say though, I had some serious satisfaction when Emma went up to Will and said, "I was a bet??" Alas, MTV means she didn't finish "I was a fucking bet??" but still. Satisfying. At this point, I honestly find Brooke more interesting than Emma, and if they REALLY wanted to turn the trope on its head, it'd be pretty spectacular if only like, Brooke & Audrey OR Noah, but not both, survived. But I agree, there's a lot of expendable cannon fodder they're not making use of. When the show started, I was sort of thrown by there being so many characters, but I just figured they needed to have so many IN ORDER to kill them off at a pace over the course of the show. However, we're now half-way through the season, 5 episodes in, and only four characters have died, two within the first five minutes, and only one that we should care about... sort of. God, they're really ALL too dumb to live, aren't they? This is the problem, you can't root for people this dumb. And is all this blackmail stuff just a red herring to make us think other people could be the killer(s)? But also, did Jake & Will not watch the tape? Blackmail is all very well & good, but Mayor Sal Romano was dragging around a BODY, what makes you think he wouldn't come to the drop-site with a gun and kill you too?? Well, that would be VERY Billy Loomis, and much more akin to its namesake than this show has managed to be thus far. Ah, that would definitely tie back into the killer's claims that Emma's mom is a slut. Truth, the time frame doesn't line up for Emma to be potentially her mother's daughter with Brandon James, but a secret older half-sister would fit perfectly. How old is Piper supposed to be? She could be twenty, right? And then of course, she's one of the killers. I'm actually liking this theory more and more. Actually, how would they even do a second season with the same cast? Unless, we don't come to a conclusion with this murderer this season? But they can't possibly introduce another serial killer to the same characters right after the first one. Wouldn't it make more sense to do an anthology-style series, like American Horror Story? Maybe that's what they're trying to keep the cast for...? No, I thought just them opening it and playing it uploaded it to the list-serve? Unless I'm mistaken?
  9. I did think it was a little refreshing though for Madison to not be that concerned with what happened between her & Chet. I mean, from an outside view, it's terrible of course, but she went after what she wanted and didn't regret it, and furthermore, wasn't down for punishing him for her actions or lying about consenting. So that was nice. I really think the relationship between Rachel & Jeremy is a lot of projecting who they want the other person to be onto each other, when it's not necessarily who that person really is. She could run away with him to a life they have both said they were not actually interested in, but eventually it would become clear that their relationship is really just a façade. But yeah, why is he suggesting this anyway? He said to both Lizzie AND Rachel when he took the promotion that getting out of the game wasn't what he wanted. Alright, I won't lie, I love Rachel & Adam together, but I would be okay if she totally Jane Eyre-d on him and chose to focus on herself and who she needs to become in order to be happy with anyone. Then they can get together later. Maybe he's not around for season two but he is for season three? Faith may have been spinning her wheels, but damn, am I going to miss her one-liners, especially during the group dates ("Are we supposed to be watching this?") But you're seriously right about this. If anything, really, Jeremy's plan is more of a fairy tale because they would need to find the way to support it, which he hasn't accounted for. They would both need to find new jobs, and she wouldn't have time to write her novel or do the things she wants to do. While with Adam, he has the funds, it's a very real option to just go be on an extended vacation for however long they want. It's the dream, and very rarely things like this actually come along, and Rachel needs to pounce on it while she can. We already know that Quinn blackmailed Rachel into the current job she's doing, so while I don't really understand her motivation either, it's not out of character for her to do so. She knew them, she just didn't know them as well as Jeremy did cause those were "his guys", camera crew, etc. They were definitely part of the show though cause that skinny dude she high fives all the time was there. This is a stupidly long post, but last thing: do we know for certain that Shiri Appleby is going to be back for season two? I know there's a lot of speculation as to whether or not Adam will be around, but is it a possibility that Rachel might not be around either? Do we even know enough to say that they don't turn this show into an anthology-type series about different reality shows, à la American Horror Story?
  10. I really think the best next step for this show would be to do a season of something like The Bachelor Pad. For a while I really thought that was where they were going to go with Adam's vineyard. Throw a bunch of old contestants into the Everlasting Vineyard & Spa for a few weeks and mix it up. I think the show would work well if they did one season of that (so in the same vein, but not a copy of season one), before moving on to a more different reality show.
  11. This came up on another website, it's been pretty sidelined, but they did mention at one point that Adam is an earl. And it's on his character page on the Lifetime website: http://www.mylifetime.com/shows/unreal/social-hookup#php/adam.php
  12. Maybe we'll get a flashback next episode? I do wonder at Quinn's motivations at trying to blackmail Adam & Rachel with the sextape. I mean, that's some pretty weak blackmail there. He already has sextapes out, and really all Adam & Rachel would need to do is hit the talk show circuit and spin some bullshit about how they really fell in love over the course of the show. Talk about fairytale endings the public would eat up in a heartbeat. Leaking the tape would only mean problems for the show and Quinn (what? she can't keep the reigns on her own producers?). Doubly so, if then Rachel decided to counter by leaking the truth about Shia's involvement in Mary's death. There has to be more going on here, because I can't believe Quinn would be so shortsighted. I would say that maybe the flashdrive has more dirt on Rachel, if it wasn't for the whole switching it out with her ring, leading me to believe it has to do with Chet. I think there's more than meets the eye to the whole thing, possibly Rachel & Adam's boning included. I do think there were genuine feelings involved though, based if nothing more than on Rachel's face when Adam was kissing Anna.
  13. Damn, the deleted version of "I'm Not Sorry" is better than the Daisy version in every way. Even the Karen bits are superior.
  14. Ok, I guess I will beat the dead horse about Denys, lol. On the one hand, you're absolutely right. However, this isn't a regular audition and you have to know that going in. Especially someone who has been through it before. People quit their jobs just to audition, so it just seems silly to me for Denys to not have taken his career into consideration earlier, and to have been banking on Antonina getting in as well. And of course we just saw the edited version, but he never said to the judges, "Oh my ballroom career..." He said, "Oh the show not doing ballroom" and "oh Antonina got cut". At least that was all we saw. Could be a different story really. That would make a lot more sense based on how the green mile was edited around. There seemed like a lot of dancers we didn't see get the news.
