I don't mind the smaller audience area but I do kinda miss the contestants stumbling up the stairs. 😉

Doug and Julie were the original supercouple, imo.

Hey, now that we're a forum, would anyone be up for a thread about our favorite realtors? (Sorry, mod, I've never started anything official here, so just shy.)
Sorry for the late reply, life has been handing me tons and tons of snow. With more on the way...
I will try to get an official mod post up soon but yes, the realtor topic is fine. (Although it could use a few graphics and short video clips. 🙂 hint, hint)

I figure the next time he sees Dom will be at the kid's college graduation.
Oh! This is the kid that Devon and Abby have where Devon was the donor? I guess I forgot that Chance was the other part of that equation.

1)Not sure where he stands on having kids. We don't know if he is able to father children although I would bet his problem has reversed himself
2) His first foray into fatherhood was an unmitigated disaster.
The last time I watched for any length of time Chance wasn't onscreen. He might have been missing? Not sure...
#2 sounds interesting. Anyone care to summarize?

I also loved the Colleen and Adrian Korbel story on YR. I thought he was so hot. lol
I remember that. I'm not sure they could do that story today. It was inappropriate (but soapy) back then but it would be even more controversial now.
Colleen is in the top ten of my list of soap characters who should never have been killed off.

I don't usually mind dream sequences but most of the episode? That was painful to watch.
Is there a therapist or former life coach on the writing staff? Because I just watched 3 episodes in a row and almost every character interaction sounded like a therapy session.
Eta: I did like Victoria attempting to reach Claire. And Audra being sympathetic to Nikki.
And maybe I'm too old to be tactful but isn't Sharon much older than Chance? A guy that age might want a relationship that includes kids. Or did they have that conversation when they first got together? I'm not opposed to couples where the woman is older but a lot of the time that ends up being the sticking point. (As in Sharon has raised kids already and is in a different phase of life.)

Interesting. Disney has taken so long with theirs that I'm not really surprised other versions have shown up. This one doesn't look half bad.
But is my one year of high school Spanish up to the task? I don't mind the occasional subtitled movie or telenovela episode but they're distracting in action heavy pieced.

Dang. My tween self adored David Soul on Here Come the Brides.

My hubby walked in and saw Cole and had the same reaction - creepy. I still can't convince him that Cole is a good guy and not a villain.
If it had been another kind of show I would have thought this guy was really down on his luck. But it's a soap, where poor people and hard times don't seem to exist.

Broad comedy and farce isn't my thing (putting it mildly) but for some reason I can't stop laughing during Roz and the Schnoz (s5e21).

Just a quick note... Since there are so few posts these days, I didn't see the need to create a new topic for the new year.
I did add 2024 to the topic title but am open to renaming the current episode discussion.

I can’t remember which episode it is, but later on it’s revealed that Frasier converted the space with the W/D hookup into storage for his hats (IIRC). That may be the episode where he ends up buying Daphne a car at the end.
It's much, much later (s9e20) - Cam Winston is part of the episode. But the episode where he buys Daphne a car is s2, where Frasier keeps getting caught in Daphne's room and she threatens to quit.

I'm still on the brain tumor theory for Tucker. However, there are interesting spumors afloat out in soap forum world that Ashley is slowly having another one of her mental breakdowns. Either way, it could lead to those two getting back together as one feels compelled to support the other through their medical/psychiatric treatment.
I thought it was interesting how cagey the last episode was about who was remembering Paris accurately.
At least if Tucker had a brain tumor, I'd get to see if Devon can be anything other than snide or smug. His animosity towards Tucker (and Nate) is a drag - and I've only been watching a month this time around.

There's something oddly full circle about a Doctor Who actor dying on Christmas Day.
Agreed. Mainly sad though, since the UNIT episodes were always some of my favorites. (Those of us in the US didn't really have that same experience, since we only got premieres synced with the BBC schedule a few years back.)
We need an emoji for "I know, right?". 🙂

The only non-OLTL thing I ever saw him in was an episode of L&O where he played an arrogant celebrity chef. But he definitely owned the screen when he was on it.
Let's hope 2024 is a little kinder to our soap vets.

I found the DNA reveal a bit underwhelming. If it had been me, I would be grabbing Cole's phone or hanging on him looking over his shoulder. Is this deer in the headlights reaction typical for Victoria?

Not to mention how creepy PHYLLIS is. Like, embarrassing levels of creepy. Let her have him.
Phyllis (love her or hate her) used to be a force of nature. I don't even recognize this version.

Meanwhile, I just took a whiff of some Grey Goose I happen to have handy for science purposes (😉) and it had no odor. That's versus some isopropyl alcohol which definitely had a smell.
Interesting. My childhood was spent surrounded by alcoholic vodka-drinkers but then none of them could afford the better brands. I'm sure the Newman bar is only stocked with the good stuff. 🙂

I'm still not caught up yet but some random thoughts...
- I never liked Jill all that much back in the day but still had some pangs in the scenes with notmyBilly.
- I'm starting to wonder if Victor calls Nikki "my baby" because either he or the actor can't be bothered to remember her name. Still 🤮
- Vodka isnt odorless. You can smell vodka on people. It might dissipate a bit faster?
- Do folks like Audra? She won me over in just a handful of episodes. Such a classic, soapy kind of character (smart, sexy pot-stirrer) and the actress seems to have chemistry with most of her scene partners.
- I'm having trouble keeping Chance and Kyle straight. They look so much alike. And they're boring.

Anticipation for Zorro
in Zorro (2023)
No doubt it's complicated by Wilmer Valderrama's schedule and Disney's other higher priority franchises. At least it hasn't been canceled. WV does seem personally invested in the project. 🤷♀️
