  1. I agree with everybody that Shawn was wrong in the way he handled the nurse. He didn't explain himself regarding how he wanted her to hand him the clamp. He also should have just apologized to her and then explained to her how he wanted her to do it. However, the nurse wasn't blameless herself. The way she responded to Shawn with the "take the damn clamp" remark was rude and unprofessional on her part and if she had spoken to Dr. Melendez or Dr. Andrews that way, they wouldn't have tolerated it. Plus, she refused to listen to him and just ran off and then files a complaint seemed petty because she got her feelings hurt when she knows he has autism. Also, she was rude the way she kept distracting Shawn during their practice by keep pushing the issue with him and Carly putting doubts in his head of their relationship which was none of her business anyway but she seemed like she was just being nosy. Shawn should have shut her down then and there but he still has problems communicating with others which is why he didn't explain to her how he wanted it done during the surgery. I also felt Dr. Andrews could have stepped in but I get his reasons. Dr. Lim handled him the right way and he was able to admit he was wrong which is hard for him because he is also a perfectionist. I see both sides regarding how Shawn should be treated. They shouldn't coddle him so much but, his autism does need to be taken in consideration in how to handle him.
  2. This episode is kind of good and tragic. The BMOL killed off Eileen(I really wanted her to live and be paired with Sam in the future). Use mind control on Mary to turn her their puppet-killer. Then there is Lady Toni who is back. I still confused how she knew all about John's life with Sam and Dean and was little annoyed that she was making John out to be some kind of psychotic child-abuser. Sure John wasn't the greatest dad but he was a loving one. Plus it is ironically she was criticizing John's parenting as neglect when she is practically doing the same thing to her own son, constantly away on her mission even leaving the country, kidnapping and torturing people risking her own life while leaving her own small child alone with the nanny or the maid to raise. I thought the scene with Mary and Ketch was heartbreaking as I saw Mary's pain and guilt over believing in an organization that she thought would rid the country of monsters so her sons could have a better life and the thought that she killed people she cared about and could hurt her own sons and she would rather die than let that happen. But I really hope she shot Ketch instead and try to figure out an escape plan. And then the end where Dean and Sam saw Mary now under complete mind-control and Dean trying to reach her was also sad, I felt bad for all three of them. I hope they don't kill Mary off in the finale but her sons are able to save her from the BMOL and break her free from their control and take down the BMOL so in the next season she can finally get to bond with them something the writers should had let her do this season but they underused her since bringing her back. As for Toni it looks like she is stuck with the Winchesters and they were have to work together to escape but that doesn't make her redeemable, but they might need to keep her alive to get to the BMOL and save their mother. I also hope Jody also makes it out alive in the finale but I my fingers are crossed. As Crowley I was shocked that he knew Dr. Hess and is working with her, I wonder what will happen when the Winchesters find out his part in killing Eileen. I don't believe Lucifer killed him either because nothing happened when he stabbed Crowley and there is that rat I think Crowley possessed it. I can't wait for what happens when Lucifer's child is born but I am quite nervous for the finale. According to Dabb, not everybody will make it out alive and that could even include, Crowley, Castiel, Mary or even Jody. Plus actor Mark Pellingrino who plays Lucifer (I may have misspelled his last name) said that the viewers will hate him in the finale and something big is coming to happen in the very end.
  3. I enjoyed this episode, glad the twins were back but sad about the ending. I least expected for both Max and Alicia to survive and go on without their mother as hunters so I didn't see Alicia dying coming. I don't see Max as a villain for what he did in the end as it kind of parallels what Dean did in season 3 when he brought Sam back to life by selling his soul to a crossroad demon. I also was glad that Dean brought up the stuff they did to hold on to one another so he couldn't judge Max's choices because I was always hypocritical for them to just expect others to move on from losing a family member when they couldn't do the same. As for Mary, I'm glad she finally wised up to Mr. Ketch and the BMOL. I actually like Mary's character and unlike many viewers, see her as misguided and flawed not unloving or cold. The only reason she joined that organization was for her sons, so they can live in a world without monsters once and for all and she saw that BMOL despite not truly trusting them get results and have all this new gadgets they don't. Sam saw the same thing and wanted to work with them too despite being tortured by rouge agent Toni. Mary does cares for her sons a lot but she is not a hugger as Alicia says. Both Sam and Mary were wrong for wanting to work with BMOL but I understand their reasons and don't see Mary needing some huge redemption as both Dean and Sam have made plenty mistakes that made things worse and even winding up splitting up for some time before making amends like in season 5 and season 9 plus the Darkness in season 10. Mary is allowed to make mistakes too since her intentions were good. The only problem I had was her character was underused and wasn't allowed to bond with her sons more but I blame that on the writers. I did enjoy the fight scene between Mary and Mr. Ketch and glad she beat up him even if he did get the upper hand using a taser(she should have knocked him out first). Lady Toni is back and I hope Mary escapes and takes both Mr. Ketch and Lady Toni down in next episode and finally reunites with her boys.
  4. I'm in the minority but I actually like Mary's character and understand why she is doing what she is. Many are saying she is a bad parent but she never got to be a parent to the Sam and Dean since she died. Now she is back and her boys are now grown men older and wiser than her with more experience, so she may be a little naïve. I don't think she entirely trusts the British Men of Letters but she sees how good they are with their advanced gadgets that they don't have and they can be useful and eliminating the country of monsters. She believes she is doing the right thing and thinks it could benefit her sons. As for torturing Sam, it was Toni and her henchwoman that did that acting against the BMOL orders which was to gain the Winchester's trust and sway them into the fold but she ruined that by her actions. That was confirmed at the end of the second episode this season when Mick and Toni were talking. Toni thinks the Winchesters are as bad as the monsters they hunt and should be killed but Mick was hesitant and only considered that as a last resort and he sent in Mr. Ketch but he seems to want to work with them. Mary doesn't isn't aware of how ruthless they can be killing that psychic girl and then the soldiers who had taken Sam and Dean, she just knows they helped her rescue them. Also, Sam called the BMOL when he needed their help and was impressed with their gadgets. I do understand Dean and Sam's anger towards Mary but I do find Dean a bit hypocritical in his attitude shutting her out not willing to understand her side condemning her for lying when they have a history of lying to each other or keeping secrets from one another when they think its' for the greater good. That is what Mary was doing, the problem is Dean has always put Mary up on a pedestal and had this idealized image of her and now it's been tarnished as Mary is just has flawed as they are. Besides, Dean and Sam had both worked with Crowley many times despite what he's put them through in the past and even the demon Meg despite her actions. They had forgiven each for their wrongdoings and even forgiven Castiel for his in the past so hopefully they can works things out with Mary. Dean didn't actually apologize in the end, he just told Mary that when he thought her life was in danger nothing else mattered to him and that he doesn't expect her to be this domesticated mother who cooks for them and fix their lunches as they are all adults now and she is still is mother even if he doesn't agree with her choices and I thing Mary was about to apologize but Dean cut her off. They were both wrong, her for keeping a secret for them, and him for quickly judging and condemning her when he's made similar mistakes of his own in the past and was willing to just cut her out of his life. As for the BMOL, I seem them as similar to the hunter Gordon Walker, in that they see things too black and white with no grey, want to eliminate anything that is supernatural viewing them a threat and their methods are too extreme and ruthless and misguided thinking its for the greater good. Sam and Dean are right to be weary of them and I hope Mary finds out just how extreme they are in the future. On the plus side, I did like the scenes between Dean and Mr. Ketch and I'm not surprised he and Toni used to date. I think he's an complex interesting character even if he's not a nice guy. I was sad to see the Alpha Vamp get killed in this episode as I wanted to see more of him but he I understand why he needed be killed. I'm looking forward to seeing this play out and hope all the Winchesters come together in the end.
  5. It was quite sad that Laurel got killed off and I still think it was a mistake of the producers but it's done and it's clear she isn't coming back but the aftermath of her death was quite compelling and touching. I didn't care for the teen Black Canary wannabe. I also didn't care for Diggle's confrontation with the Mayor Ruve. I know he's feeling guilty because of his brother's involvement in Laurel's death and he's was going off the deep end, but still that scene was too out of character of him and glad that Oliver stopped him before he did something he only regret later. Oliver stopped him more for his sake than the Mayor's which was right. However, it did make him seem a bit hypocritical because now he plans on killing Damien himself out of revenge after his lecture to Diggle who was planning to do the some. I guess the only difference he probably can rationalize if that Damien actually murdered Laurel while his wife didn't plus Damien is fare more dangerous and poses a real threat in the city.
  6. I love Hanna and Katheryn's friendship and like the character of Hanna she's the only sane person on that show despite her own flaws and past mistakes. As much I hate that their friendship will strain, Hanna has every right to be mad right now. Some people been saying Hanna knew the whole time what Wyatt did just looked the other way and allowed Katheryn to help Benny but that is simply not true. As I recall, Katheryn offered to help Hanna but when she felt for sure that Wyatt hit Benny and the little girl, she refused Katheryn's help and quit her job. Katheryn had Benny moved and paid for his medical bills without her knowledge. Then at the jail when Hanna learned what Katheryn did, she felt she only did it to shut her up about Wyatt, but by that time Hanna told the police what she heard and was sure Wyatt was guilty. She was determined for Wyatt to pay for his crimes. Then Jim bribed another man to pretend to be the guy Wyatt hit and then forced another man to confess to the crime and Hanna felt she wrongly accused Wyatt. She later apologized to them and begged for forgiveness and they continued to let her think that. Katheryn didn't hold it against her like Jim did and even let her have her job back. It wasn't until Wyatt told her point blank that she knew it was true. She rightfully feels betrayed by Katheryn and is fed up with the Cryers and Harringtons getting away with a lot because they're rich. I don't like how both Wyatt and Katheryn are acting like she knew the whole time when it fact Jim with David's help made sure Wyatt wasn't exposed and fooled everyone into believing some other person committed the crime. I do want Hanna to forgive Katheryn someday but right now she should be allowed to be angry. Since she already let Wyatt, David and Katheryn have it, I really would like her to let Jim have it for how she treated her knowing full well his son was guilty. Jim deserves it the most.
  7. Represent, Hanna didn't not just tell Candace to get over her rape, nor was she not empathetic about her situation. I remember that seen after Amanda's suicide, Hanna came to see Candace to repair their relationship and asked Candace to forgive her for what happened to her as child. Also they resolve the misunderstanding in which Candace thought her mother didn't do anything after Candace told her what happened but in reality Hanna called the police and he was sent to jail but apparently never addressed it to Candace. Hanna told Candace to forgive for her own sake rather than be bitter and to get some help and turn her life around instead of living her life conning and warned her that it would blow up in her face. She also praised her skills a lawyer when she represented her in trying to stop Tony from taking Benny off of life support. She even told Candace that she loved her and later with Benny she said Candace has so much potential as a lawyer but thinks she's wasting her talents as a con artist. Hanna doesn't hate her daughter even the actress who portrays her Crystal Fox said so on the Tyler Perry show way back. She doesn't like the kind of person she is and feels her the way she's living her life will come back to on her in worse way. Many people are tough on Hanna because of her treatment of Candace, but for most part it is justified as she knows her daughter is always up to no good and Candace hasn't been respectful to her mother either in the past, looking down on her because she's a maid. As for Candace being violent, she did have Jim kidnapped and tortured him for 7 million dollars, but I agree she wouldn't burn down Hanna's house and don't get why Hanna didn't suspect Quincy.
  8. I'm new to the board and just wanted to add my two cents in regarding this episode. I thought it was very intense. I truly hated that they killed off Charlie, but they might bring back next season(as ghost probably). I could feel the hostility Dean had with Sam, as I knew he was going to blame him for Charlie's death. His cruel comment that it should have been Sam was him lashing out at anger as when push comes to shove Dean would normally always chose Sam over anyone else. But Charlie's death deeply hurt Dean as she was the "little sister he never had" and although Charlie was close to both of them, I always saw the special bond between her and Dean. As for Dean killing off the Stynes, I'm mixed about this because I actually liked them as an evil villains and was hoping they would return next season for Dean and Sam do battle with. The scene that bothered me the most was killing off of Cyrus the teenager of the family for numerous reasons. First, he was just a boy trapped with an evil family he didn't really want any part of. During the scene he was forced to butcher that bully by his father actually made him sympathic as he was truly scarred for what he was made to do. He was actually rather interesting character, especially the way he read that bully his interests in the books, I agree with others who pointed out he was similar to Sam. I really wanted him to survive and return for the next season. He could have been a useful to the Winchesters. I definitely did not believe he deserved to die for being forced to go along with is family's deeds especially with them being wiped out he was free of them and could do what he wanted which was to runaway to California( also similar to Sam). I've read in other posts some defending Dean's actions to the speculation that Cyrus would become evil someday, take revenge, etc but as someone else on the board pointed out earlier that they are missing the point to that scene. The fact remains, Dean basically played judge, jury and executioner on an innocent boys' life, simply for being in an evil family blinded buy his rage for revenge and the Mark of Cain's influence. His actions mirrored that of Cain's who tried to kill a little boy for similar reasons being the bloodline and all the "bad blood" will win out and make you bad someday logic. Dean basically succeeded in doing what they stopped Cain from doing. Whether the boy turned out bad in the future is only up to debate, the point is Dean did not kill a monster as he claimed, he just became by murdering a kid for something that wasn't his fault and he killed a human being, not a supernatural creature which is also something normal Dean wouldn't do. Then he turned on Castiel with that brutal beat down and nearly killed him also something normal Dean wouldn't do. He is truly corrupted by the Mark of Cain. Even if they do cure him in the finale, I wonder how he will deal with all the terrible things he's done for the next season. I don't want the show just glance over his actions during season 11, but Dean deal with his past actions(especially murdering an teenage boy and nearly killing Castiel) and find a way of redemption and penance. I personally am over Dark Dean and truly want back the old Dean from the earlier seasons back. I also want some of the old Castiel back while retaining some of the humanity he has. I'm also glad Crowley survived, even though he's a demon and the King of Hell he's very entertaining. Just my take.
