  1. Thanks, Druzy! I usually just go through the posts and most of you already snarked on something I thought of, but you guys say it so much better :) Since my daughter is dynamic and active, I have a few minutes to myself when she's asleep to read and like :) Thanks for posting all of their social media nonsense here, appreciate it! Thank you!!! I feel like, when they call Carly their daughter, in their minds, she's in an equal position and has an equal status to Nova's and that's not true. Yes, Cate gave birth to her, but she did. not. raise. her. Therefore, absolutely no rights. No, she's not borrowed, like someone above said, or on a long trip. The more they talk about her and continue to be jackasses about it, the less she will want to be in touch with them when she's all grown up. I bet she will deny having any kind of relations to them, let alone something more ridiculous like being theirs! They're beyond delusional when it comes to her.
  2. I'm gonna go on a rant now. I apologize to everyone in advance. First off, I have a 15-month old daughter that I'm raising alone with my husband (no relatives around). She has been a handful since day one and I do need breaks and to recharge my batteries, but I can't imagine not seeing her for one day (that's just me) let alone for me to be gone six weeks twice! Secondly, I am aware that I will probably have only her or be done with babies for at least 5-7 years. Why? Because I need to get my life back to semi normal at least, to get some rest and energy (baby phase is a biatch), to change careers, just find myself again - basically, give my daughter a better life and a satisfied mother that will excitingly spend time with her as she grows. On the other hand, Cate hasn't been happy and seems miserable for years now. Obviously, she isn't as fulfilled with the SAHM role like she thought she would be. Ok, so that doesn't work and for sure plays a part in her depression. Did she ask herself what would make her feel better? Has she made any effort towards that goal? (I get depression, but she's a bad advocate) Of course you feel bad when you do nothing all day - newsflash, everybody does! My third point relates to this - so, her trauma and mental health is her storyline now. Except for basically shoving the sentence 'I was traumatized to everybody's throats and going to her spa for it, have we seen anything else? In the first episode of this season, when she was picked up, she said she was diagnosed with PTSD like she was bragging about it! Like someone said, for some people it's trendy to say that you suffer from a mental disorder these days. agree what she has experienced was trauma, but how did she overcome it besides not commiting suicide? No, really, what are her daily methods that help her? How did she survive, since it seems there's been zero work behind it. So, miserable she stays and what does she do next? Goes ahead and has another baby. Smh And just a few words about Tyler - don't like him, but he's not dependent of Cate anymore, because of the spa and all. He is done and like someone said, he has slowly been building his exit from the marriage. Too bad that the baby is coming and good luck to both of them, they're gonna need it. P. S. It annoys me how Cate is all 'Look at my husband, he's mine'. She doesn't just sound insecure, but since she's always talking about how hot he is and no words have been spoken about her from either sides, she always comes off to me like a 300lb heifer that is saying - look how lucky I got, I have him and I'm way out of his league. You guys will never be that lucky! Ok, rant over, lol
  3. This episode sounds like a snooze fest and judging by your short posts (and them not being many), their time is up. I'm glad, so they can get a reality check and stop acting all high and mighty. The fact that you got knocked up at 16 is not something you should be proud of, let alone think you're important and a celebrity because of it.
  4. I think this is a wrap for me. Since I watch the episodes online a few days later, I have always found at least 3-4 pages of snark here. Now there are barely two and that says a lot. I'm interested in seeing how things will develop when Cate gets home and how long will Amber's fairytale last, but I don't have the energy to watch the rest of them. Cheyenne has zero storyline and brings nothing to the table. I don't care for Bristol either. I am not interested, invested or able to make myself care enough to watch and ff. I will satisfy my curiosity by coming here. Thanks for the snark in advance and you guys crock!!!
  5. Can you give more info about their issues? I've come across a few posts mentioning issues as well, but couldn't find more.
  6. Sorry, guys, but I gotta let it all out before reading your posts. I usually just read them without posting anything, but since it's the last episode, I have to say a thing or two. * When Daphne was reading the note, first I thought her dad was the one to send it. (Oh wait, he still doesn't exist!) * Loved the signature curly hair on Juliette. Once Avery came, I felt that I will cry very soon, if not there. I'm happy they ended up together! * On the other hand, Scarlett looked like she had a curled mop for a wig. I'm glad she didn't end up with Gunnar. Also, I was surprised that she was wearing a dress with a bit of a cleveage, since she known for being an advocate for Cat lady inc. . * I thought Will would end up with Gunnar, but that would be really messed up to do in only one episode. I'm glad and surprised that the creators of the show didn't push for that. *At least they have wrapped up the thing with Brad in an okay-ish way? He kinda had a point with Alannah, pardon, purple hair (LOVE THAT!). I'm happy I won't be seeing her anymore and that there were no scenes with her and Avery. *Of course, when Rayna was back in the picture, I was already on the verge of crying. I was always a Juliette fan and wasn't that much sad about Rayna going away, but once I saw her, I forgot how much I missed her! The first line of A life that's good broke me and tears streamed down my face. I started watching the show when it was summer break, before fourth season, I think. I watched several episodes a day and became addicted to it! I can't believe that it's gone.
  7. I really like Deacon and I came to like him even more after what they did with Juliette and her lack of presence. I envy you guys for being able to see him perform live! Hopefully, he will do something big with his music, because I know I would be at loss had I not watched the show. He deserves wider audience because of his talent. Whether that happens or not, Im glad he is pursuing music reagrdless of having a label. Hope that makes sense since English isnt my first language. Can't believe there's only one episode! I'm gonna miss the show even though it's ruined.
  8. This. I think I'm gonna mute the sound whenever Scarlett comes on. I've never done it, but I think I've reached my boiling point with her. And also this, because it cannot be said enough:
  9. F U, SCARLETT!!!!! That is all I wanna say after this episode. God, she wasn't my favorite character before, but when did she become so grumpy, bitter and awful? She allegedly loves them both, but we only see a tiny bit of spark in her when Damian is present. Gunnar, on the other hand, is the one she's stuck with, that's how she acts. Not to mention behaving like settling for him is a favor to him and that he's the lucky one in that relationship! I need Gunnar to let go somehow, because not only does he deserve better, but I'm feeling tired whenever their scene comes on. I sure hope so!! Then maybe he could remember how it is to have an appreciative and kind person by his side. I don't even want Scarlett to beg him not to leave her. I'm so much pass that, that I want her to move on with her life and leave him alone completely. He could write with Will and Avery.
  10. I'm sorry if I'm late to your defense, but I agree with you. I'd rather have a show now where the girls are out than watching them getting more screen time about Rayna's death. I get how other posters can't see it working, but I think there are so many options. To me, the girls were always an addition to showcasing Rayna's character, so I have a problem with them going from recurring to main roles now. I'd rather have the producers introduce new young musicians who came to Nashville than seeing them deal with their youth issues. I will watch it until the show has run its course, but having Rayna die only made things worse and I feel like we're even further away from taking the show back to its roots.
  11. This was just too depressing for me. I don't know what to call Gunnar anymore, but it wouldn't be nice, though. Scarlett hasn't smiled at least a season. They're both awful to me now.
  12. I don't know if my hormones are to blame for coming here to bitch about Scarlett, but she just doesn't get a pass from me because she's all caring regarding the two girls. Even when Juliette was wrong, I hate Scarlett so much for being awful to Gunnar, that I'm always gonna be on the other team. (not to mention that I'm always team Juliette :) ) Juliette was right for calling her out on it. She acts like you can make it anytime just because Rayna gave her another shot with Gunnar the second time around. That doesn't happen that quick or often for everybody. What bugs me is that it's always the back and forth with her about every little thing about their career. Don't get me wrong, leaving them is a thing to think about, but with her it's always something. If you're not completely in or ready to give your 100%, then just say so. I agree. She, in my opinion, lost her mother at an even worse period than Maddie. Why wouldn't they explore that more? Is Maddie getting more screen time because she's older, therefore, we should be more interested in her storyline (or her story should be more interesting)? I wasn't okay with the fact that she didn't have a problem with going on without Daphne to promote herself. Are they still a duo or does she write with Daphne, and I quote, for her album? I really hope they will include Daphne more and that it won't become a Maddie show, because we're seriously close to having it. When she started to speak, I thought she was gonna say 'But that doesn't mean we're back together'. I love that her zero emotions towards Gunnar match her zero class in not knowing the baby daddy. I'm sorry that Gunnar didn't say to her that she can do whatever and that he's only there for the tour. I know he'd never do that because of many reasons, but the way she told him the information...ugh, her tone and the stand-offish attitude are annoying the hell out of me! She acts like she's above him or better than him!! I wish he'd say he's done with the whole band thing and go do something with Will and Avery. As much as I love this show, if the show starts revolving around Maddie becoming the next great thing and Juliette's role is all about being her assistant, I'm sorry to say that I will tune out for sure. I never thought I'd be even remotely close to doing it with Nashville, though.
  13. I'm glad they're having a baby, because I read that Jade couldn't wait and I've felt the same way. I'm half through my pregnancy at the moment :) Anyway, I just came to say that I have never watched the Bachellor/ette, but started watching Bachelor in paradise. It was the season with Jade and Tanner, but I started watching after like 5-6 episodes, because there was so much news about the show, I had to see what was so interesting. It's enough to say that I was hooked, lol I still don't care for the two mentioned franchises, but can't wait for the summer to see them all in Paradise!
  14. I don't like this new check-ups. They seem very staged and the before ones looked decent enough to be true. He's a great guy and I hope he moved on and learned not to be in that type of relationship.
  15. As much as I like this show, I think they need to call it quits because people are using it or, like some of you said, get a better research on the people that apply. I hate Nev being so nice. I needed Max and him to drop her as soon as they heard her story in the park. What a waste of time and episode! By the look of the trailer, the next one seems interesting and I hope it will redeem this failure of an opener.
  16. I can't begin this post without asking this first: Why didn't they do a time jump, like Jane the virgin did? They can fill us in with flashbacks instead of endless episodes of mourning. 1. Yay for Teddy's comeback!!! I'm happy he's finally acknowledged by the show. 2. I'm glad they became aware of Tandy, too. 3. Will finally had scenes of his own. 4. A little bit more music. The downsides for me are: 1. Trying to redeem Scarlett by making her supportive to others and putting her back in that goodie goodie role. She wasn't disrespectful and cruel to Gunner only once. 2. Gunner comforting her. They always make him too good, as in not enough confident to leave her behind and appreciate himself and his own worth. 3. I hope this show doesn't start to revolve around the girls only. They need to bring back the show in its full glory by making it all about music again and making Juliette a priority. 4. What a slap in the face for Daphne not being invited by Maddie to join her on stage. I'm glad they all sang together in the end. It was moving, but I really don't want them to drag out this sadness and mourning, so that's why the time jump would be good.
  17. I truly hope that they will get it right with Juliette and save the show. I think you're descriptions are spot on and I'd love to see that Nashville!
  18. I just came to say that I love how well-written the character of Toby is. He's becoming my favorite and he's hilarious!
  19. I, as well, hope that Juliette will become the center of the show. I was tired of characters being mostly there just for Rayna this season. I need them to pull Juliette season 1 and hopefully, they will do so. I'm torn: I really want to see what they will do next, on the one side, but on the other, despite being sad that the show got cancelled, I'm not sure if their doing the show right. I thought I wasn't gonna cry, but the pregnancy hormones got the best of me. I can't believe it either. Why couldn't it be something else, like Rayna doing something else for a career, maybe just working on her label, or moving for some other purpose? I don't have a perfect exit right now, but I really think this was unnecessary (although I get that they wanted her to go out with a bang). I'm not looking forward to episodes of mourning. Also, Rayna tells Daphne that Deacon is there for her and all of a sudden she starts calling him dad? In the last scene, when she said it, first I thought it was Maddie. On a more positive note. I am glad that Teddy is back! I've missed him. I didn't see the preview, though. Yes! How come she didn't she was doing him wrong just by watching Rayna and Deacon. She's always telling Rayna things in the lines of 'Oh, I wish things were that simple with Gunnar and me'. Shut up, Scarlett. Like some poster said, she needs to crawl back crying to him and he needs to not to give a damn.
  20. We're on the same page, just like everybody else who has commented on their issue, as well as Juliette's problem with Avery's music. Yes, they always made Scarlett look almost as innocent as Rayna, but too naive for real life (and too hard not to be taken as a joke). She was always this poor, sweet little girl, but this season they are really showing her true colors. I bet the actress was glad to play the dark side, but to me it's Scarlett's true, horrible face. I mean, she had 0 emotion when she was talking to Gunnar and I'd even go as far as saying she hasn't had it for the majority of the new episodes that have been aired. I agree that she was really believing in what she was saying. It's like she was horrified and shocked by Gunnar's premonition, but still didn't deny it. She's just awful! When you think about it, there were more times when Gunnar was still in love and in pain because she was with the doctor/not in love with him then, than she was longing for him. I heard a saying that, in a relationship, there is always a person that loves more and in their case, I think it's Gunnar. I am also interested in finding out more about why Juliette doesn't like his music. Yeah, she said that with an emotionless face. Like, what the heck is wrong with you? He meant something to you before and you guys have a lot of history together. Obviously that didn't mean anything. Also, she thought she sounded mature when she was giving her speech, like that's how people break that kind of news and break up. Get the eff outta here with that stuff. I wonder how'd she react if the tables were turned and she was the one hearing that speech. Hmm... Exactly! He called you on it and you didn't say a thing twice! Put on your big girl pants and just spill it. You already broke his heart. I need Juliette to be kind and loving to Avery as well. That man went to hell and back for her. It would be nice to see that they're still very much in love and not just supportive roommates, like they seem now. I agree. She's so cold to Gunnar, like they've been together for a couple of weeks and like in a casual way, nothing too serious. I enjoyed the song very much and it just reminded me that we need more music from him!! I agree with you on the sympathy part. It didn't take her at least one episode to jump in bed with him. She's disgusting and I'm surprised the lack of self-awareness, the same goes for her actions. Does she like who she is now? Is she okay with what her actions say about her? Also, Deacon's advise was ridiculous - hey, you're a grown up, nobody can tell you anything, so of course you can take your time by choosing between the two guys. Why would they accept to be a part of that?!
  21. I agree with both posts and in general with everybody regarding this topic. Gunnar is not that much of a bad guy and to me, he redeemed himself a long time ago. He clearly cares for Scarlett and genuinely wants their relationship to work out. I was happy that they finally ended up together on the last season, only because their drama was getting tiring and didn't made sense. On the other hand, this season, Scarlett is acting so miserable, like someone dragged her into the relationship against her will. I now want her to end this relationship, so I can finally see a happy Gunnar. I don't care what will happen to the band or to her. It's just becoming very frustrating to watch them and they are slowly, but surely, securing their spot next to Maddie, who is also awful. That whole thing with the director is awful. First of all, what kind of message does it sends? That abusive behavior towards someone equals inspiration to find oneself? I just knew they would make her like him (possibly to keep up with that TV/movie trend). And for her, to have the audacity to say that to Gunnar and then, not only ask him to not have a reaction (is she serious? How come she was allowed to have reactions in their previous seasons and this one all the time?), but to forget about it (not to mention just because the guy is off to somewhere else). And then Gunnar's the one that needs to grow up? What Gunnar needs to do is leave her after this and go make an amazing album with Avery (and possibly Will). I believe we see so much of Rayna because Connie is co-ex on the show, but I think they are convinced people are into Rayna/Deacon relationship more than they really are. I really don't care for them (especially since they're finally back together) and I appreciate that they're trying to make them a real couple by giving them obstacles, but I'm really not interested in them having the whole episode to themselves. We thought how the show wouldn't function without Rayna, but now I've realized that I can't appreciate the show without pairings of Avery and Juliette, as well as the bromance that Gunnar, Will and Avery had going on before. I would be happy if the show revolved around them and Rayna would come in here and there because she's their boss. Now, wouldn't that be nice?!
  22. So, Brooke disappointed me in another way during the first task (not that I was a fan of hers to begin with). She’s part of the people that being different call out there, weird etc. God forbid we aren’t all the same! Not to mention how she was bashing my George in front of Patrick and then Arnold for 1)not understanding his way of doing things, thus automatically assuming it’s a bad one 2) calling him disorganized when she herself was being the same during that second fitness challenge (and probably the first, too), when she couldn’t lay out a specific plan for going live to Matt. It’s like she was preparing the field just in case they didn’t win, so she can just blame it on George for doing things a bit out there and in an untraditional way. As for Laila, I think this is her deal: if you want a hard worker for a routine job like paperwork, she is your girl. Anything out of the box for her is being risky and playing it unsafe, like she’s out of her comfort zone. I believe that she really thinks she has all required skills for being the next Apprentice, but when the narrowing down of the contestants comes along, flaws like lack of creativity are viewed more clearly and it’s a big deal. I’m all for Matt to go against Boy George now. I loved how he was all up for really helping Layla, wanting to win in order to go further, but not stabbing her in the back along the way. I think he was pretty decent and quite polite in the board room, too. He’s the proof that a real human being with motivation and abilities can win and not just a calculated person that uses every thing out there against others for the sake of wining. As for the second part of the show: 1) THANK GOD BROOKE’S GONE. 2) I was happy as a school girl once my two beloved favorites, Carson and George, were united. 3) I like George’s team better. I’m not confident in those women’s skills, but I believe in Matt. Also, when I saw Porsha again, she seemed like a different person because of her face. I don’t know if it’s the make up or something. 4)I can’t quite decide whether Matt has a more complete set of skills, so to say, than George, or did not coming off as a strong player since the beginning (like Carson and Matt, I think) made Boy George the underdog. Or can he compensate and does he have what we all see in Matt? Are they equally strong competitors? 5) I think that both of the finalists are winners. Whoever wins, it will be well deserved, because it doesn’t mean that George has the upper hand from what we’ve seen. I believe they will both throw an amazing party, at least it seems like it from the previews. (My heart will be torn up a bit if George doesn’t win, though, because I’ve developed a soft spot for him) And for the end, I have to say that this is my first time meeting Boy George in terms of personality. I’ve heard of him, but never played his songs or watched his interview. I gotta say that I adore his energy, his positive, fun attitude and I wish he brings more of that to TV soon. I’m gonna miss him when the show is over. Sorry for the long post, guys.
  23. As a big kid during my teen years, I have to say that I'd also relate more to George rather than a tall Lisa (because I'm like 5'5) who has been a fit athlete probably her whole life. I was thinking about that, too. Me, too. I'm from Europe and we have Ninja warriors, but there's no subtitles. We have our own hosts. I agree that he made a good impression on me and definitely is worthy of being the next CA. (I'm mostly rooting for Boy George now, though).
