But I also know people have been crediting Korte with everything they don't like on GH since before the Iraq War, and I've rarely heard any of that backed up by her own statements or clearly attributable facts. I'm not saying you're wrong; it is entirely possible Liz Korte is the biggest Carly fan on the face of the Earth and has written everything that's made the character worse or diminished, but there have been a lot of writers on staff between now and the year 2000. And I just tend to think the truth can be a lot more nuanced, especially with someone who IIRC was at the show before Carly existed. So I am going to give her a chance to show me who she is as a writer as opposed to being the third name on the writers' roll who I often feel the fans have simply projected a lot onto.
If it is said everywhere that that woman is in love with and obsessed with Carly, then it must be true.

Glad I’m done watching this show. I’m kind of glad they fired Roger Howarth. Doing that means I don’t have to deal with the return of Steve Burton.

The money is better spent elsewhere. I think FV will do everything he can to keep ME employed before cutting him as I think ME's options are very limited, but CM may have read the tea leaves...
What's fascinating is I do not see the sort of clamoring one might expect on X. I don't think Burton's following is anywhere near what it was, just sentimentality for his past ships.Frank will never let him go. He’s like, the ultimate favorite.

Xochitl was set up to win from the very beginning. Disney, Marvel, ABC connections. Going on the tour. Let’s even throw in paired with Val. It was obvious that she was going to win.
You got the obvious winner, the nonsense and racism towards Charity — I’m just glad that this season is over.

Not to mention I loved that this was sort of Spencer's vengeance against Rory, hardly the motivation but he is petty like that it was a nice full circle that NYC is where he chose to take her and even the hand-positioning was a callback. To see a Black Girl wined, dined and romanced like this hasn't happened enough on soaps to be cliche but I sure hope we get to that point one day.
I also want to compliment whoever was responsible for the lighting since dark skin is so often lit terribly on soaps and other shows and they did a great job here to let TA's luminous skin shine.
I’m Black and that whole nonsense meant nothing to me. Not a big thing.

Jake and Charlotte ain't blood related, so I guess that's cool. Although, wasn't Charlotte supposed to be the same age as Aiden? They were in the same class during that bullying story a few years back. I guess they have the Jake actor available so it's easier to use him.

That’s where I’m at. I’m like, “but she bullied your brother”. In reality, he shouldn’t want anything to do with her. I wouldn’t date anyone who bullied my siblings.

Meh. Like I said, I don’t think he’s all that great anyway. But it’s Ryan Murphy so he’s…yeah. Guess they’ll be throwing a real Emmy at him soon enough and his head will get even bigger.
Will be funny to see how they write him out if he leaves. Are they going to recast or will Spencer and Trina ride off into the sunset?
And why does he look better in that picture with that article than he does on the show?

It's such a waste in terms of storytelling. It's like they used Austin's association for a plot point and then dropped Austin from the family entirely. When Drew Cane and Michael Corinthos are the scions of the Quartermaine family and its leading figures, the family tree is in trouble.
According to the story, weren’t Jimmy Lee and Edward on the verge of making up or whatever and Tracy stopped that by intercepting letters or something? I’m sure Austin and Tracy would have some words for each other but we’ll never see it. They dropped Austin from the family entirely. Why introduce him as a Quartermaine and then not use it? Such a waste.

Just stop watching. I was done with this show when they fired Roger Howarth. It was freeing. I check in every now and then and just be on my way. I saw the hate sex on Twitter. Hot? I don’t think so. The way his shirt just flew open — that was ridiculous. I’ve never rolled my eyes so hard except for someone claiming that it’s not Korte’s fault when it so obviously is.
That’s it.
