  1. Well people, we have sat and watched long enough. It's time we have to take action. Some sadist decided to put the naked people in a place that is too hot and has too many mosquitoes. We can't let them get away with this. This weeks show was in a place that is too inhospitable, so of course she tapped out, he should have too. We have to get organized. If they do this again, we will do a sponsor boycott.
  2. Another thing that would make this show more interesting is some of those mosquito traps and some other anti-mosquito devices that are now on the market This is something that many people in the audience need to learn something about.
  3. "This episode was... Kinda boring? No fault of the participants. They were both likable and well prepared. It just seemed like nothing happened." I wouldn't say that nothing happened, I think that what happened seemed a lot like the things that happened in other shows, so I can see why you would find this episode kinda boring. I think they should do something different in the next series so you won't have this problem. Can you think of anything new they could do in the next season? My guess is have a celebrity edition. While I don't think celebrities will sign on for such a challenging ordeal as what these people have, There are so many things that could be done to the 21 days pleasent. Like make 14 days, or even less. I would think that some of the people in this forum have a particular celebrity they would have liked to have seen on one of those Islands
  4. I would think that everybody is put off by the non-sensical blurring of the Private Parts. Now this show is on advertizer supported basic cable so there are limits on what can be shown. Butt crack has been aceptable since NYPD blue featured this on network TV. Full Frontal nudity is not, it is associated with pornography. You have to consider that the women who are guests on this show are not there to entertain horny men, they are there to show they have what it takes to be a Marine. Ordinary people need clothing to protect their skin and hide behind. These women can get by without it. Of course a woman who wants to be in show business has to be someone who is not afraid to show people what she's got. Naked+Afraid is no exception. This show has made a compromise between yes and no to the people who want to see everything, the Blurs. Perhaps they should call the show :Naked but Blurred, 'cause that's what it's about.
  5. Some of those women have nice sexy legs, does some guy in the production crew shave their legs for them? I don't see why not. The crew can bring razors and shaving cream. You don't need smooth legs to survive, so this won't make it easier, or give them any unfair advantage, so I would assume the policy on this is "so What?"
  6. The thing you have to remember is that they are there for 21 days and there is less than an hour of time on TV. The editor snips tiny bits of this footage and assembless these into a show. Most of what happened will not make the final cut, more than one of the guests has said that they are not as lazy or stupid as they appear to be on the show. Well if a guest wants to look good on the show, then he should keep his mouth shut, unless he ahs some thing nice to say, and get some cordage and make a fishing net out of that, or just look like you are doing that so you will always have something in your hands.
  7. Really, just don't listen to anything the narrator says. That 3rd item you asked about 'Gator, that was probably a diva cup. This an unmentionable womans item that you will never see a woman using. I certainly wouldn't take me 19 days to look for crabs. Where we live, we don't hunt for food, the food hunts for us. I just wade around in the water and a crab will pinch me. If you have the right tool with you , you can GET the crab before it escapes.
  8. Well many people call this show "Faked and Afraid" (not me !) because of those survival items. At the beginning of the series the narrator tells us that each guest can bring one item. Apparently the narrator has never watched this show. It seems unlikely that the guests choose some of those items, They are probably a gift from the production crew. Quite often they get a fire starter, now if you could take 1 Item of your stuff, would you take that piece of junk? I'd bring a fire starter but it would be this thing I saw the plumber use. A propane torch that you light by opening the valve and pushing the start button. If that wet wood would not burn for Me, I would MAKE it burn.
